CVE-2024-9264 1 Grafana 1 Grafana 2026-11-04 9.9 Critical
The SQL Expressions experimental feature of Grafana allows for the evaluation of `duckdb` queries containing user input. These queries are insufficiently sanitized before being passed to `duckdb`, leading to a command injection and local file inclusion vulnerability. Any user with the VIEWER or higher permission is capable of executing this attack. The `duckdb` binary must be present in Grafana's $PATH for this attack to function; by default, this binary is not installed in Grafana distributions.
CVE-2023-0507 2 Grafana, Redhat 2 Grafana, Ceph Storage 2026-11-03 7.3 High
Grafana is an open-source platform for monitoring and observability. Starting with the 8.1 branch, Grafana had a stored XSS vulnerability affecting the core plugin GeoMap. The stored XSS vulnerability was possible due to map attributions weren't properly sanitized and allowed arbitrary JavaScript to be executed in the context of the currently authorized user of the Grafana instance. An attacker needs to have the Editor role in order to change a panel to include a map attribution containing JavaScript. This means that vertical privilege escalation is possible, where a user with Editor role can change to a known password for a user having Admin role if the user with Admin role executes malicious JavaScript viewing a dashboard. Users may upgrade to version 8.5.21, 9.2.13 and 9.3.8 to receive a fix.
CVE-2022-39324 2 Grafana, Redhat 3 Grafana, Ceph Storage, Enterprise Linux 2026-11-03 6.7 Medium
Grafana is an open-source platform for monitoring and observability. Prior to versions 8.5.16 and 9.2.8, malicious user can create a snapshot and arbitrarily choose the `originalUrl` parameter by editing the query, thanks to a web proxy. When another user opens the URL of the snapshot, they will be presented with the regular web interface delivered by the trusted Grafana server. The `Open original dashboard` button no longer points to the to the real original dashboard but to the attacker’s injected URL. This issue is fixed in versions 8.5.16 and 9.2.8.
CVE-2022-36062 1 Grafana 1 Grafana 2026-11-03 7.6 High
Grafana is an open-source platform for monitoring and observability. In versions prior to 8.5.13, 9.0.9, and 9.1.6, Grafana is subject to Improper Preservation of Permissions resulting in privilege escalation on some folders where Admin is the only used permission. The vulnerability impacts Grafana instances where RBAC was disabled and enabled afterwards, as the migrations which are translating legacy folder permissions to RBAC permissions do not account for the scenario where the only user permission in the folder is Admin, as a result RBAC adds permissions for Editors and Viewers which allow them to edit and view folders accordingly. This issue has been patched in versions 8.5.13, 9.0.9, and 9.1.6. A workaround when the impacted folder/dashboard is known is to remove the additional permissions manually.
CVE-2022-23552 2 Grafana, Redhat 2 Grafana, Enterprise Linux 2026-11-03 7.3 High
Grafana is an open-source platform for monitoring and observability. Starting with the 8.1 branch and prior to versions 8.5.16, 9.2.10, and 9.3.4, Grafana had a stored XSS vulnerability affecting the core plugin GeoMap. The stored XSS vulnerability was possible because SVG files weren't properly sanitized and allowed arbitrary JavaScript to be executed in the context of the currently authorized user of the Grafana instance. An attacker needs to have the Editor role in order to change a panel to include either an external URL to a SVG-file containing JavaScript, or use the `data:` scheme to load an inline SVG-file containing JavaScript. This means that vertical privilege escalation is possible, where a user with Editor role can change to a known password for a user having Admin role if the user with Admin role executes malicious JavaScript viewing a dashboard. Users may upgrade to version 8.5.16, 9.2.10, or 9.3.4 to receive a fix.
CVE-2022-23498 2 Grafana, Redhat 2 Grafana, Ceph Storage 2026-11-03 7.1 High
Grafana is an open-source platform for monitoring and observability. When datasource query caching is enabled, Grafana caches all headers, including `grafana_session`. As a result, any user that queries a datasource where the caching is enabled can acquire another user’s session. To mitigate the vulnerability you can disable datasource query caching for all datasources. This issue has been patched in versions 9.2.10 and 9.3.4.
CVE-2026-27876 1 Grafana 2 Grafana, Grafana Enterprise 2026-11-03 9.1 Critical
A chained attack via SQL Expressions and a Grafana Enterprise plugin can lead to a remote arbitrary code execution impact (RCE). This is enabled by a feature in Grafana (OSS), so all users are always recommended to update to avoid future attack vectors going this path. Only instances with the sqlExpressions feature toggle enabled are vulnerable. Only instances in the following version ranges are affected: - 11.6.0 (inclusive) to 11.6.14 (exclusive): 11.6.14 has the fix. 11.5 and below are not affected. - 12.0.0 (inclusive) to 12.1.10 (exclusive): 12.1.10 has the fix. 12.0 did not receive an update, as it is end-of-life. - 12.2.0 (inclusive) to 12.2.8 (exclusive): 12.2.8 has the fix. - 12.3.0 (inclusive) to 12.3.6 (exclusive): 12.3.6 has the fix. - 12.4.0 (inclusive) to 12.4.2 (exclusive): 12.4.2 has the fix. 13.0.0 and above also have the fix: no v13 release is affected.
CVE-2025-3260 1 Grafana 1 Grafana 2026-11-03 8.3 High
A security vulnerability in the /apis/dashboard.grafana.app/* endpoints allows authenticated users to bypass dashboard and folder permissions. The vulnerability affects all API versions (v0alpha1, v1alpha1, v2alpha1). Impact: - Viewers can view all dashboards/folders regardless of permissions - Editors can view/edit/delete all dashboards/folders regardless of permissions - Editors can create dashboards in any folder regardless of permissions - Anonymous users with viewer/editor roles are similarly affected Organization isolation boundaries remain intact. The vulnerability only affects dashboard access and does not grant access to datasources.
CVE-2026-81938 1 Grafana 2 Enterprise Metrics, Grafana Mimir 2026-11-03 7.7 High
Grafana Mimir's Alertmanager rejects tenant-supplied receiver configurations that reference local files, but the check did not cover two HTTP client settings: http_headers.<name>.files and basic_auth.username_file. A tenant permitted to upload an Alertmanager configuration could point these fields at any file readable by the Alertmanager process. When a notification was sent, Alertmanager read the file and put its contents in a header of the outgoing request. By directing the receiver at a server they control, the tenant could read files from the Alertmanager host, such as credentials and configuration. Exploitation requires permission to write the tenant's Alertmanager configuration. Grafana Enterprise Metrics (GEM), which is built on Mimir, is also affected. The issue is fixed in Mimir 3.1.7 and 3.2.2 and in GEM 2.17.20. GEM 2.11 through 2.16 will not receive a fix; users on those versions should upgrade to 2.17.20 or later.
CVE-2026-100105 1 Grafana 2 Grafana, Grafana Enterprise 2026-10-29 7.7 High
A user with permission to edit contact points but not their protected fields can change protected settings, such as a contact point's destination URL, by switching an integration to a legacy schema version, which can expose stored credentials and redirect alert notifications (incorrect authorization).
CVE-2026-103506 2 Grafana, Redhat 3 Grafana, Grafana Enterprise, Hummingbird 2026-10-29 8.6 High
An authenticated user in Grafana can read SSO client secrets and modify instance-wide SSO settings without the required permissions (missing authorization). This affects Grafana OSS and Enterprise 13.2 installations with the experimental kubernetesSsoSettingsApi feature toggle enabled, which is disabled by default.
CVE-2026-88858 1 Grafana 2 Grafana, Grafana Enterprise 2026-10-29 6.5 Medium
A user with the Viewer role in Grafana can crash the server by submitting a crafted server-side math expression (uncontrolled recursion). A user with permission to provision alert rules can make the outage persist across restarts.
CVE-2026-88967 1 Grafana 2 Grafana, Grafana Enterprise 2026-10-29 7.7 High
A user with query access to an Azure Monitor data source in Grafana can cause server-side requests to an attacker-controlled endpoint that disclose the data source's Azure access token (server-side request forgery).
CVE-2026-79656 1 Grafana 2 Grafana, Grafana Enterprise 2026-10-29 6 Medium
A user with read access to Grafana's server logs, or to a log store they are shipped to, can recover the OAuth and OIDC access, refresh and ID tokens of users who sign in through the Generic OAuth, Google or GitLab providers. Grafana writes these tokens to its logs unredacted when an access or ID token is not a valid JWT, when the ID token is missing (at debug level) or is not a string (exposure of sensitive information in log files). The exposure is bounded by the scopes granted to the configured OAuth client.
CVE-2026-16491 1 Grafana 2 Grafana, Grafana Enterprise 2026-10-27 6.5 Medium
Grafana’s RBAC service ignored the requested folder when checking whether a user was a folder administrator for deleted dashboard listings. A user with dashboard permission-management rights on any folder could therefore be treated as an administrator of every folder. This could expose deleted dashboard items from folders where the user lacked administrative access. The fix requires permission on the specified folder, an ancestor, or a wildcard scope.
CVE-2026-9703 1 Grafana 2 Grafana, Grafana Enterprise 2026-10-21 7.1 High
Grafana's data source proxy did not apply role-based access control to write requests forwarded to Loki data sources. A user holding only the Viewer role on an affected Grafana instance could send POST, PUT and DELETE requests through the proxy to the Loki rules API (/loki/api/v1/rules), allowing them to create, modify and delete Loki alerting rules. Because those rules are stored by Loki rather than by Grafana, the change took effect for every user of that Loki data source, not only for the Viewer who made the request. Exploitation requires an authenticated Viewer account on the Grafana instance and a configured Loki data source; no other privileges are needed. Both Grafana OSS and Grafana Enterprise are affected. The defect is in Grafana's data source proxy; Loki itself is not vulnerable and does not need to be patched.
CVE-2026-92539 1 Grafana 1 Grafana Enterprise 2026-10-20 6.7 Medium
A service account with user-management permissions in one organization can read, modify, disable or delete users belonging to other organizations on the same Grafana instance through the SCIM API (insecure direct object reference). Only Grafana Enterprise instances with SCIM enabled are affected.
CVE-2026-89039 1 Grafana 1 Mcp K6 2026-10-06 6.5 Medium
A caller who can invoke the convert_playwright_script prompt in mcp-k6 can pass a bare file path as the playwright_script argument and receive the contents of any file readable by the user running the server, including SSH keys and cloud credentials in that user's home directory (path traversal). The working-directory restriction applied to '@'-prefixed paths can also be bypassed with a symbolic link inside the working directory that points outside it.
CVE-2026-81841 1 Grafana 2 Grafana, Grafana Enterprise 2026-09-30 5.3 Medium
Pausing a shared (public) dashboard did not revoke its access token for the endpoints that serve frontend bootstrap data. Anyone holding the link to a paused shared dashboard could still retrieve, without authenticating, the configuration of the dashboard's data sources, including stored credentials for data sources using browser access (missing authorization). Deleting the shared dashboard does revoke the token.
CVE-2026-81842 1 Grafana 2 Grafana, Grafana Enterprise 2026-09-30 4.3 Medium
An authenticated user with edit permission on one folder can move a library panel into another folder where they only have view permission, through the library elements API or the equivalent App Platform resource. The update path did not check library panel create permission on the destination folder (incorrect authorization). No data from the destination folder is disclosed, and existing content there cannot be changed.
