CVE-2026-77393 1 Inductiveautomation 1 Ignition 2026-09-05 8.8 High
In Ignition 8.1.53 and earlier, the Gateway "Create Project Role(s)" setting shipped blank, which permitted any authenticated user to create projects (if they can execute gateway scripts). Ignition 8.1.54 restricts project creation to Designer sessions and no longer relies on this setting. The 8.3 series is not affected.
CVE-2026-52766 1 Yeswiki 1 Yeswiki 2026-09-05 9.1 Critical
YesWiki is a wiki system written in PHP. Prior to version 4.6.6, the {{erasespamedcomments}} wiki action (actions/EraseSpamedCommentsAction.php) accepts a suppr[] array from POST and deletes every wiki page whose tag appears in that array, with no authorization check anywhere in the action body or in the page-deletion path it invokes. Combined with YesWiki's allow-by-default action ACL model, any user who has page write access, which is the default for everyone (default_write_acl='*') on a fresh install can permanently delete arbitrary wiki pages, including the front page, admin pages, and pages owned by other users. This issue has been patched in version 4.6.6.
CVE-2026-64388 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb/client: fix chown/chgrp with SMB3 POSIX Extensions Ownership (chown) and group (chgrp) modifications were being ignored when mounting with SMB3 POSIX Extensions unless CIFS_MOUNT_CIFS_ACL or CIFS_MOUNT_MODE_FROM_SID were also explicitly set. Fix this by checking for posix_extensions in cifs_setattr_nounix() when updating UID and GID, ensuring that id_mode_to_cifs_acl() is called to map and set the ownership/group information on the server.
CVE-2026-81302 1 Jalinfotec 3 Pallet Control, Palletcontrol, Palletcontrol Cloud 2026-09-04 N/A
PALLET CONTROL products contain an incorrect default permission vulnerability, which may allow a local attacker to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges on the affected product.
CVE-2026-64393 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-04 9.1 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: run set info with opener credentials SMB2 SET_INFO handlers call path-based VFS helpers after checking the access mask granted to the SMB handle. Those helpers perform their owner, inode permission and LSM checks using the current ksmbd worker credentials. Run the complete SET_INFO dispatch with the credentials captured when the handle was opened. This also removes the separate security information credential setup and keeps all SET_INFO classes under one credential scope. Direct override_creds() is used because it can nest with the request credential overrides already used by rename and link helpers.
CVE-2026-64392 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-04 9.1 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: use opener credentials for delete-on-close Delete-on-close can be completed by deferred or durable handle teardown, where no request work is available. Both the base-file unlink and the ADS xattr removal consequently run with the ksmbd worker credentials and can bypass filesystem permission checks. Run both operations with the credentials captured in struct file when the handle was opened. This preserves the authenticated user's fsuid, fsgid, supplementary groups and capability restrictions at final close.
CVE-2024-28056 2 Amazon, Aws 2 Aws Amplify Cli, Amplify Cli 2026-09-04 9.8 Critical
Amazon AWS Amplify CLI before 12.10.1 incorrectly configures the role trust policy of IAM roles associated with Amplify projects. When the Authentication component is removed from an Amplify project, a Condition property is removed but "Effect":"Allow" remains present, and consequently sts:AssumeRoleWithWebIdentity would be available to threat actors with no conditions. Thus, if Amplify CLI had been used to remove the Authentication component from a project built between August 2019 and January 2024, an "assume role" may have occurred, and may have been leveraged to obtain unauthorized access to an organization's AWS resources. NOTE: the problem could only occur if an authorized AWS user removed an Authentication component. (The vulnerability did not give a threat actor the ability to remove an Authentication component.) However, in realistic situations, an authorized AWS user may have removed an Authentication component, e.g., if the objective were to stop using built-in Cognito resources, or move to a completely different identity provider.
CVE-2025-30706 1 Oracle 1 Mysql Connector\/j 2026-09-03 7.5 High
Vulnerability in the MySQL Connectors product of Oracle MySQL (component: Connector/J). Supported versions that are affected are 9.0.0-9.2.0. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Connectors. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of MySQL Connectors. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.5 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H).
CVE-2026-84335 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-09-03 8.3 High
Incorrect authorization in TabStrip in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.75 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process and leveraged social engineering to potentially execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
CVE-2026-80047 1 Huggingface 1 Transformers 2026-09-03 7.8 High
A vulnerability in Hugging Face Transformers (versions >= 4.49.0 and <= 5.8.1) allows remote Python files to be written to local disk without user consent when using GenerativePreTrainedModel.load_custom_generate(). The function fetches and caches a remote module file before performing the required trust_remote_code consent check, inverting the security model enforced by other code-loading paths (such as AutoConfig, AutoModel, and AutoTokenizer). As a result, attacker‑controlled Python code from custom_generate/generate.py is copied into the user’s ~/.cache/huggingface/modules directory even if the user declines the trust prompt. Although execution is correctly gated, the file write is not reversible and can persist across sessions. This can lead to persistent, unauthorized files on disk and stale cache collisions where cached attacker code may later be executed during trusted model loads. The issue stems from an unconditional file write in dynamic_module_utils.py prior to any trust verification.
CVE-2026-9633 1 Rockwell Automation 1 Redundancy Module Configuration Tool 2026-09-01 N/A
A security issue exists within the Redundancy Module Configuration Tool. The RM3ConfigTool.exe binary searches directories in the system path for a required DLL, and one or more of these directories may be writable by standard (non-administrator) users due to incorrect default permissions. If a local attacker places a malicious DLL in such a directory and an administrator subsequently runs the tool, the malicious DLL is loaded into the elevated process and executes with Administrator/SYSTEM privileges.
CVE-2026-9634 1 Rockwell Automation 1 Redundancy Module Configuration Tool 2026-09-01 N/A
A security issue exists within the Redundancy Module Configuration Tool. The RMConfigTool.exe binary searches directories in the system path for a required DLL, and one or more of these directories may be writable by standard (non-administrator) users due to incorrect default permissions. If a local attacker places a malicious DLL in such a directory and an administrator subsequently runs the tool, the malicious DLL is loaded into the elevated process and executes with Administrator/SYSTEM privileges.
CVE-2026-49421 1 Freebsd 1 Freebsd 2026-09-01 7.1 High
The kernel function that implements unlinkat(2) and funlinkat(2) validated the AT_RESOLVE_BENEATH flag but failed to pass it through to the underlying path lookup. The flag was silently dropped, so path resolution was not actually restricted. A process that uses AT_RESOLVE_BENEATH with unlinkat(2) or funlinkat(2) to confine path resolution can in fact resolve paths above the starting directory. A caller relying on this flag for path containment may delete files outside the intended directory tree.
CVE-2026-58086 1 Freebsd 1 Freebsd 2026-08-31 8.1 High
As an inadvertent side effect of an unrelated code change, PRIV_KTRACE was always denied to a jailed root user. Tracing configured by a jailed root user was therefore not flagged as privileged. An unprivileged user in a jail that has permission to debug the target process can modify the jailed root user's ktrace(2) flags, or disable tracing outright. A jailed root user therefore cannot reliably trace unprivileged processes.
CVE-2025-12801 2 Linux-nfs, Redhat 7 Nfs-utils, Ceph Storage, Enterprise Linux and 4 more 2026-08-31 6.5 Medium
A vulnerability was recently discovered in the rpc.mountd daemon in the nfs-utils package for Linux, that allows a NFSv3 client to escalate the privileges assigned to it in the /etc/exports file at mount time. In particular, it allows the client to access any subdirectory or subtree of an exported directory, regardless of the set file permissions, and regardless of any 'root_squash' or 'all_squash' attributes that would normally be expected to apply to that client.
CVE-2026-81682 1 Jahlives 1 Openssl Encrypt 2026-08-31 6.2 Medium
openssl_encrypt versions before 1.4.9 contain an insecure file permissions vulnerability in the desktop GUI that writes decrypted plaintext with world-readable default permissions. Attackers can read decrypted output files created by the GUI as unprivileged local users on multi-user systems.
CVE-2025-53811 3 Apple, Mosh, Mosh-pro 3 Macos, Mosh, Mosh-pro 2026-08-31 N/A
The configuration of Mosh-Pro on macOS, specifically the "RunAsNode" fuse enabled, allows a local attacker with unprivileged access to execute arbitrary code that inherits Mosh-Pro TCC (Transparency, Consent, and Control) permissions.  Acquired resource access is limited to previously granted permissions by the user. Accessing other resources beyond previously granted TCC permissions will prompt the user for approval in the name of Mosh-Pro, potentially disguising attacker's malicious intent.  This issue was fixed in 1.3.7 version of Mosh-Pro.
CVE-2026-80724 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-31 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ptp: vmclock: prevent read-only mappings from becoming writable vmclock_miscdev_mmap() rejects writable mappings of the shared vmclock ABI page with -EROFS, but leaves VM_MAYWRITE set. Userspace can map the page read-only and then upgrade it to writable with mprotect(), after which the guest can corrupt the host-written timekeeping data (sequence counter, UTC time, TSC offset) that the vmclock ABI defines as read-only. Clear VM_MAYWRITE on the read-only path so the mapping cannot be upgraded, as i915 does for its read-only objects and as fixed in drm/vc4 (CVE-2026-68445) and drm/panthor (CVE-2024-53071).
CVE-2026-69665 1 Skygroup 2 Skymec It Manager, Skysea Client View 2026-08-28 N/A
SKYSEA Client View and SKYMEC IT Manager contain an issue with incorrect default permissions. If this vulnerability is exploited, an attacker who can log in to a Windows system on which the affected product is installed may execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privilege.
CVE-2025-62299 1 Hcl Software 1 Iem 2026-08-27 6.6 Medium
HCL IntelliOps Event Management (IEM) is affected by a least privileges violation which could allow an attacker to access the resource with the elevated privilege that could not be accessed with the attacker's original privileges.
