CVE-2026-85014 1 Undici 1 Undici 2026-09-04 5.9 Medium
undici's experimental WebSocketStream client crashes the whole Node.js process when a remote peer closes the TCP connection without a WebSocket close handshake. On an unclean close the internal socket-close handler calls abort on the writable stream unconditionally and discards the returned promise, but per the WHATWG Streams standard aborting a locked writable returns a promise that rejects with a TypeError. Because the application holds a writer on that writable, which is the only way to write, the rejection is never observed and Node's default unhandled-rejection behavior terminates the process. An untrusted server can therefore crash a client with a single abrupt disconnect, with no authentication and no application mistake. This affects undici versions from 7.0.0 up to 7.29.1 and from 8.0.0 up to 8.10.2. Users should upgrade to undici 7.29.1 or 8.10.2.
CVE-2026-80882 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-04 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: tegra - Return ENOMEM when input buffer allocation fails for ccm Ensure the ENOMEM error value is set when the input buffer allocation fails in tegra_ccm_do_one_req.
CVE-2026-64414 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-04 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: handle unreadable frags sashiko reports: When an skb with unreadable fragments (such as from devmem TCP, where skb_frags_readable(skb) returns false) is processed by the u32 module, skb_copy_bits() will safely return a negative error code [..] xt_u32: bail out with hotdrop in this case. gather_frags: return -1, just as if we had no fragment header. nfnetlink_queue: restrict to the linear part. nfnetlink_log: restrict to the linear part. v2: - skb_zerocopy helpers don't copy readable flag, i.e. nfnetlink_queue is broken too xt_u32 shouldn't return true if hotdrop was set.
CVE-2026-64326 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-04 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: block: skip sync_blockdev() on surprise removal in bdev_mark_dead() bdev_mark_dead()'s @surprise == true means the device is already gone. The filesystem callback fs_bdev_mark_dead() honours this and skips sync_filesystem(), but the bare block device path (no ->mark_dead op) lost its !surprise guard when the holder ->mark_dead callback was wired up (see Fixes), and now calls sync_blockdev() unconditionally, which can hang forever waiting on writeback that can no longer complete. syzkaller hit this via nvme_reset_work()'s "I/O queues lost" path: nvme_mark_namespaces_dead() -> blk_mark_disk_dead() -> bdev_mark_dead(bdev, true) -> sync_blockdev() blocks in folio_wait_writeback(), wedging the reset worker and every task waiting on it. Skip the sync on surprise removal, matching fs_bdev_mark_dead(); invalidate_bdev() still runs. Orderly removal (surprise == false) is unchanged. Found by FuzzNvme(Syzkaller with FEMU fuzzing framework).
CVE-2026-76642 2 Kernel, Linux 2 Util-linux, Util-linux 2026-09-03 7.8 High
util-linux versions through 2.41.5 and 2.42.2 fail to check mount helper exit status before running post-mount hooks, allowing unprivileged users to execute privileged operations on pre-existing filesystems. Attackers can exploit X-mount.idmap or X-mount.owner hooks to clone filesystems with inherited suid bits or modify target inode permissions after a helper fails, achieving privilege escalation.
CVE-2026-80744 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-03 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables_offload: suppress WARN_ON_ONCE for ENOMEM in abort path In nft_flow_rule_offload_abort(), WARN_ON_ONCE(err) is triggered on every error during rollback, including -ENOMEM. Memory allocation failures are expected under low-memory conditions and do not indicate a kernel bug. Trace for example: nft_flow_offload_chain() // FLOW_BLOCK_BIND nft_flow_block_chain() nft_chain_offload_cmd() nft_block_offload_cmd() ->ndo_setup_tc() nsim_setup_tc() flow_block_cb_setup_simple() flow_block_cb_alloc() // fails to -ENOMEM The warning was reproduced on the 5.10 stable kernel under memory pressure via fault injection, but the underlying bug exists in mainline as well, as demonstrated by the ENOMEM trace above. The following splat was triggered during nf_tables transaction processing: WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 8567 at net/netfilter/nf_tables_offload.c:532 nft_flow_rule_offload_abort net/netfilter/nf_tables_offload.c:532 [inline] WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 8567 at net/netfilter/nf_tables_offload.c:532 nft_flow_rule_offload_commit+0x971/0xcd0 net/netfilter/nf_tables_offload.c:591 Modules linked in: CPU: 0 PID: 8567 Comm: syz-executor.0 Not tainted 5.10.260-syzkaller #0 Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (i440FX + PIIX, 1996), BIOS 1.12.0-1 04/01/2014 RIP: 0010:nft_flow_rule_offload_abort net/netfilter/nf_tables_offload.c:532 [inline] RIP: 0010:nft_flow_rule_offload_commit+0x971/0xcd0 net/netfilter/nf_tables_offload.c:591 Call Trace: nf_tables_commit+0x3bd/0x4bd0 net/netfilter/nf_tables_api.c:8604 nfnetlink_rcv_batch+0xb1e/0x1f20 net/netfilter/nfnetlink.c:509 nfnetlink_rcv_skb_batch net/netfilter/nfnetlink.c:579 [inline] nfnetlink_rcv+0x3b3/0x420 net/netfilter/nfnetlink.c:597 netlink_unicast_kernel net/netlink/af_netlink.c:1314 [inline] netlink_unicast+0x6cd/0xa00 net/netfilter/af_netlink.c:1340 netlink_sendmsg+0x906/0xe10 net/netfilter/af_netlink.c:1919 sock_sendmsg_nosec net/socket.c:651 [inline] __sock_sendmsg+0x155/0x190 net/socket.c:663 ____sys_sendmsg+0x705/0x870 net/socket.c:2379 ___sys_sendmsg+0x100/0x170 net/socket.c:2433 __sys_sendmsg+0xe9/0x1c0 net/socket.c:2462 do_syscall_64+0x33/0x40 arch/x86/entry/common.c:46 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x67/0xd1 Change the condition to WARN_ON_ONCE(err && err != -ENOMEM) so that warnings are only emitted for unexpected errors. This aligns with the common kernel practice of not warning on -ENOMEM. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with Syzkaller.
CVE-2026-59845 2 Libssh, Redhat 4 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 1 more 2026-09-01 5.3 Medium
A flaw was found in libssh. When ProxyCommand is used, an unchecked fork() failure can be stored as process ID -1; during cleanup, signals may then be sent across the caller's accessible process tree, leading to local denial of service.
CVE-2026-80581 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-28 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: SOF: ipc4-pcm: Continue the pipeline trigger in case of IPC timeout Ignore IPC errors for pipeline state change if the firmware state is crashed or the IPC has timed out. If the firmware has crashed the kernel still needs to go through the state changes to reset its internal to be able to correctly work the next time the DSP is booted up. The case with IPC timeout is a bit more problematic, but it has been rootcaused to be the result of system scheduling blockage and the firmware did actually received and handled the message, but the reply handling got blocked by issues outside of the SOF stack. So far the best way to handle this is to continue with setting the state.
CVE-2026-72477 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-22 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: call _ntfs_bad_inode() when failing to rename It is safe to call _ntfs_bad_inode on live inodes since: commit 519b078998ce ("fs/ntfs3: Exclude call make_bad_inode for live nodes.") The WARN_ON was added when it wasn't safe by: commit d99208b91933 ("fs/ntfs3: cancle set bad inode after removing name fails") Replace the WARN_ON with a call to _ntfs_bad_inode() to prevent further operations on the inconsistent inode.
CVE-2026-74353 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-22 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: always resume_all after suspend_all Need to restore any good queues even if the suspend_all failed for some. Always run remove_queue as that will schedule a GPU reset is removing the queue fails. v2: move resume_all after remove
CVE-2026-72374 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-17 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: afs: Fix callback service message parsers to pass through -EAGAIN The AFS filesystem client uses an rxrpc server to listen for callback notifications. Each callback call type handler has a delivery function that parses the incoming request stream, and this should return -EAGAIN the last packet hasn't yet been seen, but all currently queued received data is consumed. afs_extract_data() does this, but the -EAGAIN return is switched to 0 inadvertantly Fix callback service message parsers to pass through -EAGAIN
CVE-2026-72421 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-17 10 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: fib: Don't ignore error route in local/main tables. When CONFIG_IP_MULTIPLE_TABLES is enabled but no rule is added, fib_lookup() performs route lookup directly on two tables. Since the first lookup does not properly bail out, the result of an error route in the merged local/main table could be overwritten by another route in the default table: # unshare -n # ip link set lo up # ip route add 192.168.0.0/24 dev lo table 253 # ip route add unreachable 192.168.0.0/24 # ip route get 192.168.0.1 192.168.0.1 dev lo table default uid 0 cache <local> Once a random rule is added, the error route is respected: # ip rule add table 0 # ip rule del table 0 # ip route get 192.168.0.1 RTNETLINK answers: No route to host Let's fix the inconsistent behaviour.
CVE-2026-74367 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-17 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath12k: fix inconsistent arvif state in vdev_create error paths ath12k_mac_vdev_create() has three error path issues that leave arvif in an inconsistent state: 1. When ath12k_wmi_vdev_create() fails, the function returns directly without clearing arvif->ar, which was already set before the WMI call. Subsequent code checking arvif->ar to determine vdev readiness will see a non-NULL value despite no vdev existing in firmware. 2. When ath12k_wmi_send_peer_delete_cmd() fails in err_peer_del, the code jumped to err: skipping the DP peer cleanup and vdev rollback, leaving num_created_vdevs, vdev maps and arvif list membership live. 3. When ath12k_wait_for_peer_delete_done() fails, the code jumped to err_vdev_del: skipping the DP peer cleanup. Fix by changing the ath12k_wmi_vdev_create() failure to goto err instead of returning directly, routing both err_peer_del failure paths through err_dp_peer_del: for proper DP peer and vdev rollback, and consolidating the arvif state cleanup at err:. Tested-on: WCN7850 hw2.0 PCI WLAN.HMT.1.1.c5-00302-QCAHMTSWPL_V1.0_V2.0_SILICONZ-1.115823.3
CVE-2026-43488 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-14 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: xhci: Prevent interrupt storm on host controller error (HCE) The xHCI controller reports a Host Controller Error (HCE) in UAS Storage Device plug/unplug scenarios on Android devices. HCE is checked in xhci_irq() function and causes an interrupt storm (since the interrupt isn’t cleared), leading to severe system-level faults. When the xHC controller reports HCE in the interrupt handler, the driver only logs a warning and assumes xHC activity will stop as stated in xHCI specification. An interrupt storm does however continue on some hosts even after HCE, and only ceases after manually disabling xHC interrupt and stopping the controller by calling xhci_halt(). Add xhci_halt() to xhci_irq() function where STS_HCE status is checked, mirroring the existing error handling pattern used for STS_FATAL errors. This only fixes the interrupt storm. Proper HCE recovery requires resetting and re-initializing the xHC.
CVE-2024-50284 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: Fix the missing xa_store error check xa_store() can fail, it return xa_err(-EINVAL) if the entry cannot be stored in an XArray, or xa_err(-ENOMEM) if memory allocation failed, so check error for xa_store() to fix it.
CVE-2025-71289 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-30 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: handle attr_set_size() errors when truncating files If attr_set_size() fails while truncating down, the error is silently ignored and the inode may be left in an inconsistent state.
CVE-2026-53393 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-24 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: reset write verifier on deferred writeback errors nfsd_vfs_write() and nfsd_commit() both call filemap_check_wb_err() to detect deferred writeback errors, but neither rotates the server's write verifier (nn->writeverf) when this check fails. Every other durable-storage-failure path in these functions calls commit_reset_write_verifier() before returning an error. The missing rotation means clients holding UNSTABLE write data under the current verifier will COMMIT, receive the unchanged verifier back, and conclude their data is durable — silently dropping data that failed writeback. This violates the UNSTABLE+COMMIT durability contract (RFC 1813 §3.3.7, RFC 8881 §18.32). Add commit_reset_write_verifier() calls at both filemap_check_wb_err() error sites, matching the pattern used by adjacent error paths in the same functions. The helper already filters -EAGAIN and -ESTALE internally, so the calls are unconditionally safe.
CVE-2026-53434 1 Apache 1 Tomcat 2026-06-30 9.1 Critical
Detection of Error Condition Without Action vulnerability in Apache Tomcat when configuring CRLs for a FFM based connector. This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.22, from 10.1.0-M7 through 10.1.55, from 9.0.83 through 9.0.118. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.23, 10.1.56 or 9.0.119, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2024-12086 8 Almalinux, Archlinux, Gentoo and 5 more 12 Almalinux, Arch Linux, Linux and 9 more 2026-06-29 6.1 Medium
A flaw was found in rsync. It could allow a server to enumerate the contents of an arbitrary file from the client's machine. This issue occurs when files are being copied from a client to a server. During this process, the rsync server will send checksums of local data to the client to compare with in order to determine what data needs to be sent to the server. By sending specially constructed checksum values for arbitrary files, an attacker may be able to reconstruct the data of those files byte-by-byte based on the responses from the client.
CVE-2026-52989 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-28 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvmet-tcp: propagate nvmet_tcp_build_pdu_iovec() errors to its callers Currently, when nvmet_tcp_build_pdu_iovec() detects an out-of-bounds PDU length or offset, it triggers nvmet_tcp_fatal_error(cmd->queue) and returns early. However, because the function returns void, the callers are entirely unaware that a fatal error has occurred and that the cmd->recv_msg.msg_iter was left uninitialized. Callers such as nvmet_tcp_handle_h2c_data_pdu() proceed to blindly overwrite the queue state with queue->rcv_state = NVMET_TCP_RECV_DATA Consequently, the socket receiving loop may attempt to read incoming network data into the uninitialized iterator. Fix this by shifting the error handling responsibility to the callers.
