CVE-2026-86145 1 Pcre 1 Pcre2 2026-09-05 8.2 High
PCRE2 before 10.48 allows a pcre2_dfa_match out-of-bounds write because reuse of a cached workspace block, in a recursive DFA matching workspace, lacks a size check (even though a newly allocated block, for the same purpose, does have a size check). This outcome requires an attacker-controlled regular expression, or a recursive pattern in conjunction with a small heap limit (this can be set through the API).
CVE-2026-6958 2026-09-04 7.8 High
Acunetix 25.11.251107123 for Windows contains a local privilege escalation vulnerability in the Web Vulnerability Scanning Engine (wvsc.exe) that allows low-privileged local attackers to execute arbitrary code as SYSTEM by exploiting a missing hardcoded directory path for OpenSSL-related files. Attackers can create the missing directory, place a malicious file at the expected path, and cause the SYSTEM-level wvsc.exe process to load and execute it, resulting in full privilege escalation.
CVE-2026-25679 2 Go Standard Library, Golang 2 Net/url, Go 2026-09-04 7.5 High
url.Parse insufficiently validated the host/authority component and accepted some invalid URLs.
CVE-2026-0299 2 Palo Alto Networks, Paloaltonetworks 2 Globalprotect App, Globalprotect 2026-09-03 7.8 High
Local privilege escalation vulnerabilities in the Palo Alto Networks GlobalProtect™ app enable a local user to escalate their privileges to NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM on Windows, and root on macOS and Linux. This enables a non-administrative user to execute arbitrary commands with administrative privileges. The GlobalProtect app on iOS, Android, and Chrome OS is not affected.
CVE-2026-19590 1 Openai 2 Codex Desktop, Codex Desktop (microsoft Store Package) 2026-09-03 7.3 High
OpenAI Codex Desktop for Windows and macOS could execute attacker-controlled Git hooks because automated Git operations trusted the repository's local core.hooksPath setting. If a user opens an attacker-prepared repository whose preserved .git/config points core.hooksPath to an attacker-controlled directory, Codex can run a malicious hook while processing the repository. The hook executes outside Codex's command sandbox, without user approval, and with the user's privileges, allowing it to read, change, or delete the user's files and access other resources available to the user's account. An ordinary Git clone does not preserve the attacker-controlled repository-local configuration required for exploitation.
CVE-2026-84323 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-09-03 5.3 Medium
Missing authorization in FileSystem in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.75 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process and leveraged social engineering to obtain sensitive information via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
CVE-2026-45221 2026-09-01 7.8 High
Konga before 2.1.0 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows low-privileged local attackers to execute arbitrary code by planting attacker-controlled OpenSSL configuration or library files in a hardcoded filesystem path absent from default installations. On Windows, the missing directory resides in a location writable by any authenticated local user, enabling attackers to create the directory and place malicious files that execute at the privilege level of the user or service account that launches Konga, facilitating privilege escalation.
CVE-2026-65093 2 Linux, Nvidia 2 Linux Kernel, Openshell 2026-09-01 9.9 Critical
NVIDIA OpenShell for Linux contains a vulnerability where an attacker could cause a sandbox escape. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, escalation of privileges, data tampering, and information disclosure.
CVE-2026-82862 1 Kerberosmansour 1 Hulumi 2026-09-01 8.4 High
Hulumi versions before v1.3.2 resolve the threat-model helper script from an unsafe root, allowing workspace files to shadow the intended helper script. Attackers can place malicious files in the workspace to execute arbitrary code during local skill execution.
CVE-2026-82649 2 B3log, Siyuan 2 Siyuan, Siyuan 2026-09-01 N/A
SiYuan Windows installer before version 3.8.1 (affected versions >= 2.0.14) contains an uncontrolled search path element vulnerability in its NSIS installer, which invokes system executables such as TASKKILL by name rather than by absolute path. Because NSIS nsExec::Exec resolves these calls using a search path that includes the installer's own launch directory ahead of System32, an attacker who plants a malicious executable (e.g., a renamed TASKKILL.exe) in that directory can have it executed when the installer runs. These calls occur in electron-builder's preInit hook before the license page is displayed, and with an all-users (elevated) install the planted binary executes with an elevated token, resulting in local privilege escalation.
CVE-2026-5674 2 Pipewire, Redhat 5 Pipewire, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 2 more 2026-08-31 8.8 High
A flaw was found in PipeWire, a multimedia server. This vulnerability allows an attacker to escape sandboxed applications, such as Flatpak, by exploiting PipeWire's PulseAudio compatibility layer. An attacker with minimal permissions within a sandboxed environment can load a malicious library, leading to arbitrary code execution outside the sandbox and potential compromise of the user's system.
CVE-2026-75768 1 Adobe 1 Substance 3d Painter 2026-08-31 7.8 High
Substance3D - Painter is affected by an Untrusted Search Path vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
CVE-2026-81697 1 Jahlives 1 Openssl Encrypt 2026-08-31 5.5 Medium
openssl_encrypt (pip package openssl-encrypt) versions <= 1.4.8 contain a CWD-relative configuration file resolution flaw in crypt_settings.py, where CONFIG_FILE (originally the absolute per-user path ~/.crypt_settings.json) is reassigned at line 84 to the bare relative name 'crypt_settings.json'. As a result, the legacy Tk GUI's SettingsTab reads and writes KDF settings from crypt_settings.json in the process launch (current working) directory instead of the user's home directory. An attacker who plants a malicious crypt_settings.json (e.g. sha256:1 with all memory-hard KDFs disabled) can silently downgrade encryption performed in that GUI session to roughly one hash round, bypassing the weak-KDF preflight and enabling offline brute-force attacks against the resulting ciphertext. Fixed in 1.4.9.
CVE-2026-74872 1 Jahlives 1 Openssl Encrypt 2026-08-31 9.8 Critical
openssl_encrypt versions before 1.4.0 contain an arbitrary code execution vulnerability in the Whirlpool hash implementation that uses broad glob patterns to load .so modules without integrity verification. Attackers can place malicious .so files matching the whirlpool*py313*.so pattern in site-packages directories to achieve native code execution when the module is loaded.
CVE-2026-14673 1 Postgresql 1 Postgresql 2026-08-29 3.8 Low
Untrusted search path in PostgreSQL amcheck allows a grantee of amcheck function EXECUTE privilege to execute arbitrary functions as the owners of expression indexes that depend on the search path, via setting a hostile search path before calling the amcheck function. Within major versions 18, 16, 15, and 14, minor versions before PostgreSQL 18.6, 16.15, 15.19, and 14.24 are affected. PostgreSQL 17 is unaffected.

CVE-2026-9128 1 Rockwellautomation 1 Studio 5000 Logix Designer 2026-08-25 7.5 High
A code execution security issue exists within Studio 5000 Logix Designer® due to an unquoted search path in the External Tools configuration. The executable paths specified in the external tools configuration file are not properly quoted, and because these paths contain spaces, the operating system may resolve them to unintended executables placed earlier in the search order. If exploited, an attacker could plant a malicious executable in a location within the search path, resulting in arbitrary code execution with the same permissions of the user running the application.
