In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: s390: pci: Validate AIBV and AISB before pinning guest pages The AIBV holds one bit per MSI-X vector for a given function. The size of the bit vector is derived from the NOI and the AIBVO. If the size of the AIBV exceeds a single page boundary, then reject the request as we cannot safely pin the guest AIBV. Similarly reject the request if the AISB address is not 8-byte aligned as the architecture requires doubleword alignment for the summary bit address. Since the AISBO can address up to 64 bits, the size of the AISB can only be 8 bytes for the function. This also ensures the AISB doesn't exceed a single page boundary.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring/rsrc: fix folio size overflow in io_vec_fill_bvec() io_vec_fill_bvec() computes the folio size with a plain int 1: unsigned long folio_size = 1 << imu->folio_shift; imu->folio_shift is unsigned int and comes from folio_shift() of the folio backing the registered buffer, so it can be 32 or more on a 64 bit kernel. Shifting int 1 that far is undefined, and on x86 and arm64 the count is taken modulo 32, so a shift of 34 yields 4 rather than 16G. Every other folio_shift shift in this file already uses 1UL. The result is that the segment estimate and the fill loop disagree. io_estimate_bvec_size() sizes the bvec array with the real shift: max_segs += (iov[i].iov_len >> shift) + 2; so a 1M iovec on a 16G folio is charged 2 segments, while io_vec_fill_bvec() then walks the same iovec in folio_size chunks of 4 bytes and writes res_bvec[bvec_idx] a quarter of a million times, past the end of the array it was given. src_bvec is advanced once per iteration as well, so imu->bvec is read past its end at the same time. validate_fixed_range() only checks that the range is inside the registered buffer and does not bound the segment count. Reaching it needs a folio with a shift of at least 32, which means a gigantic hugetlb page: 16G on arm64 with 64K pages, where CONT_PMD_SHIFT is 34 and hugetlb_add_hstate(CONT_PMD_SHIFT - PAGE_SHIFT) registers that size, and likewise on powerpc. x86_64 tops out at 1G, so a shift of 30, which still fits in int and is unaffected. Use 1UL, as the rest of the file does.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/perf: fix preempt count underflow in fsl_emb_pmu_del fsl_emb_pmu_del() unconditionally calls put_cpu_var(cpu_hw_events) at the 'out:' label, but only calls the matching get_cpu_var() after the 'i < 0' early-return check. When event->hw.idx is negative the function jumps to 'out:' without having taken get_cpu_var(), and the trailing put_cpu_var() then issues an unmatched preempt_enable(), underflowing preempt_count. On a CONFIG_PREEMPT=y kernel preempt_count would underflow and eventually present as a 'scheduling while atomic' BUG. Move put_cpu_var() to pair with get_cpu_var() so the percpu access is correctly bracketed and the 'out:' label only handles perf_pmu_enable.

libvips is a fast image processing library with low memory needs. Prior to version 8.18.3, libvips built without libtiff support but with ImageMagick support can overflow the combined frame height while loading a crafted multi-page TIFF through VipsForeignLoadMagick. The vulnerable calculations in libvips/foreign/magick6load.c and libvips/foreign/magick7load.c multiply the per-page Ysize by n_frames without a checked bound, which can cause a heap buffer over-read and process crash. Most package-manager builds include libtiff and do not use this affected fallback path. This issue is fixed in version 8.18.3.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vmwgfx: validate DRAW_PRIMITIVES header size before division vmw_cmd_draw() computes maxnum = (header->size - sizeof(cmd->body)) / sizeof(*decl); where header->size is u32 and is taken straight from the user-supplied command stream. When header->size is less than sizeof(cmd->body) the unsigned subtraction wraps to nearly 4 GiB, producing a huge maxnum. Any user-controlled cmd->body.numVertexDecls then passes the bound and the loop dereferences decl[i] far past the end of the kernel command bounce buffer, producing an out-of-bounds read of kernel memory. Reject undersized headers up front.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: qrtr: fix 32-bit integer overflow in qrtr_endpoint_post() qrtr_endpoint_post() validates an incoming packet with if (!size || len != ALIGN(size, 4) + hdrlen) goto err; where size comes from the wire. On 32-bit, size_t is 32 bits and ALIGN(size, 4) wraps to 0 for size >= 0xfffffffd, so the check passes and skb_put_data(skb, data + hdrlen, size) writes past the hdrlen-sized skb and oopses the kernel. 64-bit is unaffected. This is the 32-bit residual of ad9d24c9429e2 ("net: qrtr: fix OOB Read in qrtr_endpoint_post"), which fixed only the 64-bit case. Reject any size that cannot fit the buffer before the ALIGN.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: LAG, Fix off-by-one in single-FDB error rollback On failure at index i, the reverse cleanup loop in mlx5_lag_create_single_fdb() starts from i, so the failed index itself is rolled back. That can operate on uninitialized state or double-tear-down a rule the add_one path already self-rolled-back. Start the rollback from i - 1 so only successfully-installed entries are undone.

llama.cpp builds b1283 through b9058 contain an integer overflow vulnerability in the llama_batch_init() function where unchecked multiplications in malloc() calls can wrap past INT32_MAX when computing allocation sizes. Attackers can pass specially crafted parameters to trigger integer overflow, causing heap corruption and potentially achieving arbitrary code execution through subsequent batch operations that write past allocated buffer boundaries.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tipc: fix integer overflow in tipc_recvmsg() and tipc_recvstream() In tipc_recvmsg(), the copy length is computed as: copy = min_t(int, dlen - offset, buflen); buflen is size_t but min_t(int, ...) casts it to int. When buflen exceeds INT_MAX (e.g. 0xFFFFFFFF via io_uring provided buffers), it wraps negative, wins the comparison, and the negative copy length propagates to simple_copy_to_iter() where int-to-size_t promotion makes it SIZE_MAX, triggering a WARN_ON. tipc_recvstream() has the same pattern. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: asymmetric_keys - fix OOB read in pefile_digest_pe_contents pefile_digest_pe_contents() computes the trailing-data hash length as pelen - (hashed_bytes + certs_size). A crafted PE can make the addition exceed pelen, causing the unsigned subtraction to underflow to ~4 GiB. This is passed to crypto_shash_update() which reads out of bounds and panics on unmapped vmalloc guard pages. Perl versions through 5.43.10 have a heap buffer overflow when compiling regular expressions with a repeated fixed string on 32-bit builds. Perl_study_chunk in regcomp_study.c checked the size of the joined substring buffer in characters rather than bytes. For a quantified fixed substring with a large minimum count, the byte length mincount * l could overflow SSize_t, producing an undersized SvGROW allocation; the subsequent copy writes past the end of the buffer. A caller that compiles an attacker-controlled regular expression on a 32-bit perl build triggers a heap buffer overflow at compile time.

In Arm ArmNN through 2026-03-27, an integer overflow in TensorShape::GetNumElements() in armnn/Tensor.cpp allows a crafted TFLite model file to bypass buffer size validation and trigger a heap-based buffer over-read during model optimization. The overflow occurs when multiplying tensor dimensions using 32-bit unsigned arithmetic without overflow detection, causing GetNumBytes() to return an understated allocation size. During Optimize()->InferOutputShapes(), the BatchToSpaceNdLayer reads beyond the allocated buffer.

Bytes is a utility library for working with bytes. From version 1.2.1 to before 1.11.1, Bytes is vulnerable to integer overflow in BytesMut::reserve. In the unique reclaim path of BytesMut::reserve, if the condition "v_capacity >= new_cap + offset" uses an unchecked addition. When new_cap + offset overflows usize in release builds, this condition may incorrectly pass, causing self.cap to be set to a value that exceeds the actual allocated capacity. Subsequent APIs such as spare_capacity_mut() then trust this corrupted cap value and may create out-of-bounds slices, leading to UB. This behavior is observable in release builds (integer overflow wraps), whereas debug builds panic due to overflow checks. This issue has been patched in version 1.11.1.
