| As part of Cisco's ongoing commitment to proactive security and product quality, the Cisco IOS XR Software engineering team has conducted a comprehensive internal security review. This review resulted in a software hardening releases that address multiple internally discovered vulnerabilities.
The vulnerabilities tracked by CVE-2026-20276 are related to insufficient control flow management issues that are grouped under the Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE) CWE-691. |
| Tencent AI-Infra-Guard's skill-scan component excludes compiled Python bytecode files from analysis by hardcoding __pycache__ directories and .pyc/.pyo/.pyd extensions into skip lists across multiple scanning surfaces. Attackers can distribute skills with benign Python source files alongside malicious compiled bytecode that executes on import while the scanner reports a safe verdict, enabling code execution when operators install the skill. |
| claude-skill-antivirus fails to analyze executable files when scanning local skill directories, reading only SKILL.md while ignoring Python source, bytecode, and other artifacts in the scripts directory. Attackers can distribute skills with malicious code in non-manifest files that receive a SAFE verdict with 100/100 trust score despite containing unanalyzed executable payloads. |
| agentverus-scanner fails to analyze compiled Python bytecode files in companion code directories, allowing attackers to bypass security scanning by shipping malicious __pycache__ entries alongside benign source files. Attackers can execute arbitrary Python bytecode on import while the scanner reports a CERTIFIED verdict with high trust scores in both static and semantic analysis modes. |

| Spring Security's InetAddressMatchers utility provides matchInternal() and matchExternal() builders for constructing an InetAddressMatcher that classifies a given IP address as belonging to an internal (private) or external (public) network.

| ServiceNow has remediated a sandbox escape security issue that was identified in the ServiceNow AI Platform. This security issue could allow an unauthenticated user to execute arbitrary code within the ServiceNow AI Platform, potentially leading to more access to the ServiceNow AI Platform than intended.
ServiceNow deployed a security update to hosted instances and ServiceNow provided the update to our partners and self-hosted customers. We are not currently aware of malicious exploitation against ServiceNow instances.
We recommend customers promptly apply appropriate updates or upgrade to a patched release if they have not already done so. |
| Sandbox escape in the Remote Settings Client component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 154, Thunderbird 154, Firefox ESR 115.40, Firefox ESR 140.15, Firefox ESR 153.2, Thunderbird 140.15, and Thunderbird 153.2. |
| Dell PowerStore contains a Protection Mechanism Failure vulnerability. An authenticated user with limited privileges could potentially exploit this vulnerability to write attacker-controlled content to arbitrary filesystem paths. |

| openssl_encrypt versions before 1.4.0 contain a sandbox bypass vulnerability where the plugin sandbox fails to restrict alternative file access methods like pathlib.Path and io.open. Attackers can import pathlib or io modules to read and write arbitrary files, completely bypassing the restricted_open file access controls. |
| openssl_encrypt versions before 1.4.0 fail to apply sandbox restrictions in the default process isolation mode for plugin execution. Attackers can execute malicious plugins with unrestricted access to the filesystem, network, subprocess execution, and all Python modules. |
| openssl_encrypt versions before 1.4.0 contain a sandbox escape vulnerability in the DangerousPatternVisitor AST analyzer that fails to detect dunder attribute traversal techniques. Attackers can use __class__, __bases__, __subclasses__(), and __globals__ chains to access restricted functions and execute arbitrary system commands from plugin code. |
| When ranges are used for access control (i.e. of the form 1.2.3.4-1.2.3.25), because NSD wrongly compares the IP address with the range on little endian systems, IPs that were meant to be allowed may be denied, and, IPs that were meant to be denied access could be allowed. An IPv4 address is compared with IPv4 ranges as unsigned 32 bit numbers directly with the endianness of the host, but the values to compare are in network byte order (big-endian). With IPv6 addresses the comparison is done in 4 times a unsigned 32 bit number comparison, again with the endianness of the host where all values are actually in network bye order. |
| Weblate is a web-based continuous localization platform used to manage software translations. In versions prior to 2026.7, a project administrator can read files outside their repository through the App store metadata download feature, which resolves attacker-influenced paths without adequately confining them to the repository. This is an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-34242, whose original patch failed to fully prevent the path traversal, allowing the arbitrary file read to persist. A user with project-administrator privileges can therefore disclose the contents of files on the Weblate host that lie outside the project's repository. This issue is fixed in version 2026.7. |
| The Page Restrict plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to information disclosure in all versions up to, and including, 2.5.5. This is due to the plugin not properly restricting access to posts via the REST API when a page has been made private. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to view protected posts. |
| @hulumi/policies versions before 1.3.2 contain an evidence validation bypass vulnerability in Cloudflare and deployment-governance validators that allows attackers to suppress violations by submitting unrelated compliant evidence. Attackers can use evidence from different zones, hostnames, origins, or repositories to bypass security guardrails for unrelated resources in the same stack. |
| oasdiff is a command-line and Go package that compares and detects breaking changes in OpenAPI specs. From version 1.13.2 through version 1.18.0, oasdiff did not enforce --allow-external-refs=false (library: openapi3.Loader.IsExternalRefsAllowed = false) when loading a spec from a git revision (the rev:path form, e.g. main:openapi.yaml). External $refs were resolved on that load path even when external refs were explicitly disabled, so the mitigation silently did not apply there. This issue has been patched in version 1.18.1. |
