CVSS v3.1 |
| When looking for calendars in a directory on a server, during account setup or when adding a new network calendar, Thunderbird accepted calendar locations pointing to other servers, local files or network shares. A malicious server, or a network attacker when the lookup used plain HTTP, could make Thunderbird subscribe to such a location. On Windows this could leak the user's NTLM credentials to an attacker-controlled host on every calendar refresh, and changes to the calendar could be written to the attacker's share or overwrite a local file. This vulnerability was fixed in Thunderbird 159 and Thunderbird 153.6. |

| Insecure permissions in the CitrineContentProvider component of Citrine v3.1.0 (versionCode 62) allows unauthorized attackers to arbitrarily read another's Nostr event database. |
| Insecure permissions in the io.file.importer.ImportActivity component of OpenTracks versionCode 6751 allows unauthorized attackers to inject crafted tracking data into the victim's location database via a crafted SEND message. |
| SEPPmail Secure Email Gateway before 15.1.1 trusts a file path supplied in externally provided Large File Transfer attachment metadata. An unauthenticated remote sender can cause the mail-processing worker to disclose, move, or delete an accessible regular file when LFT is enabled and the message reaches an affected secure-mail processing path. The validated workers ran as root. |
| A local privilege escalation vulnerability exists in the API of HPE Networking Fabric Composer. Successful exploitation could allow a low-privileged local attacker to elevate their privileges on the affected system. |
| Quest Foglight for Databases Incorrect Permission Assignment Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of Quest Foglight for Databases. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the product installer. The issue results from incorrect permissions on a folder used by the product. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of SYSTEM. Was ZDI-CAN-31118. |
| Quest Foglight for Databases writeTopologySectionToFile External Control of File Path Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Quest Foglight for Databases. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the writeTopologySectionToFile method. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of SYSTEM. Was ZDI-CAN-29169. |
| Quest Foglight for Databases FileServlet External Control of File Path Information Disclosure Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations of Quest Foglight for Databases. Authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the FileServlet class. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to disclose information in the context of SYSTEM. Was ZDI-CAN-29216. |
| pnpm is a package manager. Prior to 10.34.5 and 11.11.0, pnpm accepts a scoped path traversal in a tarball dependency's package.json manifest name because pnpm11/resolving/npm-resolver/src/pickPackage.ts rejects slash characters only for unscoped names. During pnpm install, the unvalidated name reaches raw path joins in pnpm11/installing/deps-resolver/src/resolvePeers.ts, pnpm11/installing/deps-resolver/src/index.ts, and pnpm11/deps/graph-builder/src/lockfileToDepGraph.ts, causing package extraction outside node_modules and allowing attacker-controlled files to overwrite arbitrary filesystem paths even when --ignore-scripts is used. The overwrite can replace shell startup files, Git hooks, or installed package code and lead to code execution. This issue is fixed in versions 10.34.5, and 11.11.0. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Agile Engineering Data Management product of Oracle Supply Chain (component: Install). The supported version that is affected is 6.2.1. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Agile Engineering Data Management. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Oracle Agile Engineering Data Management accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle Agile Engineering Data Management accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of Oracle Agile Engineering Data Management. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 9.4 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:H/A:H). |
| Dell iDRAC Service Module (iSM), versions prior to 6.0.3.0, contains an Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Code execution. |
| Vulnerability in the PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools product of Oracle PeopleSoft (component: SQR). Supported versions that are affected are 8.61-8.63. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools executes to compromise PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and while the vulnerability is in PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 6.9 (Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:N/I:H/A:H). |

| Securepoint SSL VPN Client v2 on Windows contains vulnerabilities in the handling of OpenVPN configurations and proxy settings that allow non-privileged local users to influence operations performed with NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM privileges.
Two attack vectors have been identified:
*
Improper authorization of configuration checksum updates: The privileged service does not properly validate the authorization of connecting clients when updating the checksum of an OpenVPN configuration. This allows a non-privileged local user to modify an OpenVPN configuration and set a valid checksum without administrator privileges. The modified configuration is subsequently processed with NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM privileges.
*
Argument injection via proxy settings: The client does not properly validate or sanitize proxy settings before passing them as arguments to OpenVPN. A non-privileged local user can inject additional arguments through the proxy settings, influencing the execution of OpenVPN with NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM privileges. This attack vector does not require direct communication with the privileged service or modification of the protected OpenVPN configuration. |
| MongoDB Database Tools mongofiles uses a database-stored GridFS filename as the output destination for get_id when --local is not specified. A user who can modify the file metadata can set the stored filename to '-', causing a later authorized retrieval to write the file contents to standard output instead of a local file. If standard output is captured in a location accessible to that user, this may disclose GridFS content the user cannot read directly. Exploitation requires a higher-privileged operator to retrieve the affected file without an explicit local destination and attacker access to the captured output. This issue affects MongoDB Database Tools from version 3.1.4 through versions before 100.20.1. |
| MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.0.0 until 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11, the ClientMessage.validateLocalFileName() check used a regular expression that could match LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE text inside quoted identifiers, string literals, or comments instead of requiring a real statement. A malicious or compromised server, or a machine-in-the-middle attacker, could return crafted database or table identifiers that the connector reused in metadata or updatable-result queries, then answer with a LOCAL INFILE request for a client file. With allowLocalInfile enabled, this caused the connector to stream any readable client-host file named by the crafted text, including through DatabaseMetaData.getImportedKeys(), DatabaseMetaData.getExportedKeys(), or ResultSet.updateRow() paths. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11. |
