CVSS v3.1 |
| Improper certificate validation in the OpenVPN 3 Core library version 3.4 through 3.11.7 allows attackers to circumvent extended key usage restrictions. |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 0.4.20, the @backstage/plugin-auth-backend-module-oidc-provider package is affected by improper authentication in the oidc provider. Deployments using OIDC email-based identity resolution with a provider that permits unverified email addresses may allow an authenticated provider user to assume another catalog identity. This may grant access and permissions associated with that user. No direct availability impact is demonstrated. This issue is fixed in version 0.4.20. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM for JDK, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition product of Oracle Java SE (component: Libraries). Supported versions that are affected are Oracle Java SE: 8u503, 8u503-perf, 11.0.32.1, 17.0.20.1, 21.0.12.1, 25.0.4.1, 27; Oracle GraalVM for JDK: 17.0.20.1 and 21.0.12.1; Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition: 21.3.19.1.1. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM for JDK, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM for JDK, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM for JDK, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition accessible data. Note: This vulnerability can be exploited by using APIs in the specified Component, e.g., through a web service which supplies data to the APIs. This vulnerability also applies to Java deployments, typically in clients running sandboxed Java Web Start applications or sandboxed Java applets, that load and run untrusted code (e.g., code that comes from the internet) and rely on the Java sandbox for security. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 6.5 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N). |
| Authentication Bypass by Spoofing vulnerability in Brainstorm Force SureCart surecart allows Authentication Abuse. This issue affects SureCart: from n/a through 4.9.5. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in Industrial Edge App Publisher (All versions < V1.27.9). The affected software does not properly validate the server certificate when initiating a TLS connection. This allows an attacker to intercept and relay communication (Man-in-the-Middle attack) and to spoof a trusted entity by interfering in the communication path between the client and the intended server. |
| In `api-gateway` versions till `1.7.3`, The default rate-limit key resolver, `ClientIpKeyResolver`, derives the per-client bucket key from the leftmost element of the `X-Forwarded-For` request header. That element is supplied by the originating HTTP client and is not validated against any trusted-proxy list. A single attacker can therefore obtain an unlimited number of independent rate-limit buckets — one per unique header value — and completely bypass the gateway's request-rate limiting on every route that uses the shipped default configuration. |
| An authorization bypass was found in the Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) gateway. The gateway API allows an authenticated administrator to create a new service key for the Controller service cluster. Because service-key creation is not restricted to the installer-provisioned provisioning path, an administrator-issued key is cryptographically indistinguishable from a legitimate one and can be used to forge a service-authentication token that impersonates the Controller service. Combined with the gateway OIDC workload-identity endpoint (enabled via FEATURE_OIDC_WORKLOAD_IDENTITY_ENABLED), the attacker can drive the gateway to sign Workload Identity Tokens (WITs) for arbitrary Controller workloads. A downstream resource server such as HashiCorp Vault that trusts the gateway OIDC key will accept the forged WIT and return the AAP credentials bound to that workload, disclosing secrets beyond the attacker's authorization boundary. |
| Cryptographic issue in the Security Block-lists, Allow-lists, and other State component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 158.0.1, Firefox ESR 153.5.1, Firefox ESR 115.43.1, Thunderbird 158.0.1, Thunderbird 153.5.1, and Firefox 158.0.2. |
| The Contest Gallery WordPress plugin before 34.0.1 does not reliably validate the visitor identity used to enforce its one-vote-per-entry restriction, trusting a client-supplied request header and an unbound client-generated token, which allows unauthenticated users to bypass the restriction and cast multiple votes for the same contest entry, inflating its vote total. |
| Improper access control in Windows NTFS allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. |
| The Payment Gateway for Idram WordPress plugin before 2.1.6 does not verify the authenticity of incoming payment notifications, because the merchant credentials used to compute their checksum are empty by default, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a valid payment confirmation and mark arbitrary orders as paid, and to force arbitrary orders into a failed state regardless of the gateway's configuration. |
| PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C. In 2.17 and earlier, the OpenSSL and GnuTLS backends in pjlib/src/pj/ssl_sock_ossl.c and pjlib/src/pj/ssl_sock_gtls.c copy DNS SubjectAltName values with string functions that recalculate their length and truncate an embedded NUL byte. With server verification enabled through --tls-verify-server for the PJSIP TLS/SIPS transport, a certificate containing a DNS SubjectAltName formed from the target hostname prefix followed by an embedded NUL and an attacker-controlled suffix can therefore be accepted for the prefix hostname. An attacker who possesses such a certificate from a trusted issuer and can intercept the connection can impersonate the target server, complete the SIP session, and receive REGISTER credentials. The mbedTLS backend is not affected because it preserves the explicit string length. No fixed version is available as of this review. |
| Improper certificate validation in the identity provider connection components in Amazon Athena ODBC driver before 2.1.0.0 might allow a man-in-the-middle threat actor to intercept authentication credentials due to insufficient default transport security when connecting to identity providers. This only applies to connections with external identity providers and does not apply to connections with Athena.
To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 2.1.0.0. |
| SuggestArr before 3.0.0 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in its local_bypass authentication mode where enforce_authentication() in api_service/auth/middleware.py trusts the client-controlled request.remote_addr value, which is derived from the spoofable X-Forwarded-For header due to ProxyFix(x_for=1) configuration in api_service/app.py. Attackers can send a request with X-Forwarded-For set to a trusted CIDR address such as 127.0.0.1 to be granted an unauthenticated admin session via _load_bypass_user_context(), gaining full administrative access to endpoints like /api/users and /api/jobs without providing any credentials. |
| Description
When NGINX Plus or NGINX Open Source is configured with ssl_session_cache
shared:name:size
without an explicit ssl_session_ticket_key file directives to automatically rotate SSL session ticket keys, a remote unauthenticated attacker is able to forge client SSL sessions
in a non-deterministic manner that is beyond the attacker's control. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to bypass verification of client certificates.
Impact
This vulnerability can lead to the exposure of resources or functionality to unintended actors, possibly providing attackers with access to sensitive information. There is no control plane exposure; this is a data plane issue only.
Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. |
| Dell Container Storage Modules (CSM) versions prior to 1.18.0, contains an Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability in the proxy-server component. An unauthenticated adjacent network attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to information exposure of storage backend administrator credentials. |
| FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.16.0, FileRise deployments with AUTH_BYPASS enabled trust the configured reverse-proxy identity header without verifying that the request originated from FR_TRUSTED_PROXIES. When the backend application port is reachable directly, an unauthenticated attacker can supply X-Remote-User and obtain a session for the asserted account, including an administrator account, without a password or MFA. The flaw is limited to deployments that enable proxy-header authentication and expose an untrusted path to the backend. This issue is fixed in version 3.16.0. |
| FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.23.0, FileRise maps an authenticated OIDC identity to a local account using mutable preferred_username or email claims and does not require email_verified for email-based naming. An attacker who can obtain provider-issued claims colliding with an existing local username can be logged in as that account, including the built-in administrator, even when automatic provisioning is disabled. Exploitability depends on the configured identity provider allowing the colliding claim. This issue is fixed in version 3.23.0. |
| LDAP Account Manager (LAM) is a webfrontend for managing entries (e.g. users, groups, DHCP settings) stored in an LDAP directory. Prior to 9.6, installations with WebAuthn two-factor authentication leave the challenge in the same PHP session after the authentication response is processed. A user who has already completed valid password authentication can therefore retain the same signed WebAuthn ceremony state instead of consuming it once. The practical risk is limited by the requirement for a valid password, the same PHP session, and a valid authenticator signature. This issue is fixed in version 9.6. |
| undici is an HTTP client library for Node.js. In versions 4.0.0 through 6.29.0, 7.0.0 through 7.30.0, and 8.0.0 through 8.12.1, its Agent dispatcher passes its constructor options through a JSON-based deep clone before forwarding them to each per-origin pool, and because JSON cannot represent functions, a caller-supplied tls option containing a checkServerIdentity callback is silently dropped before it reaches the TLS layer. As a result, a TLS peer whose certificate a custom checkServerIdentity was written to reject, but which passes Node's default hostname and chain checks, is silently accepted. Because Agent is the default dispatcher behind request, fetch, and setGlobalDispatcher, this affects the path most applications use, and EnvHttpProxyAgent is affected on its direct and no-proxy routes as well, while only applications that pass a function-valued tls option such as a custom checkServerIdentity for certificate or public-key pinning are at risk. The issue is fixed in undici 6.29.1, 7.30.1, and 8.12.2, which preserve the tls option outside the JSON clone so custom verification callbacks are forwarded unchanged, and users should upgrade to one of those versions or later. As a workaround, pass the TLS options through connect instead of tls, or for proxied destinations use requestTls and proxyTls. |
