| An issue in obgm and Libcoap v.a3ed466 allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via thecoap_context_t function in the src/coap_threadsafe.c:297:3 component. |
| An attacker can make the Node.js HTTP/2 server completely unavailable by sending a small amount of HTTP/2 frames packets with a few HTTP/2 frames inside. It is possible to leave some data in nghttp2 memory after reset when headers with HTTP/2 CONTINUATION frame are sent to the server and then a TCP connection is abruptly closed by the client triggering the Http2Session destructor while header frames are still being processed (and stored in memory) causing a race condition. |
| A Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability exists in the jaraco/zipp library, affecting all versions prior to 3.19.1. The vulnerability is triggered when processing a specially crafted zip file that leads to an infinite loop. This issue also impacts the zipfile module of CPython, as features from the third-party zipp library are later merged into CPython, and the affected code is identical in both projects. The infinite loop can be initiated through the use of functions affecting the `Path` module in both zipp and zipfile, such as `joinpath`, the overloaded division operator, and `iterdir`. Although the infinite loop is not resource exhaustive, it prevents the application from responding. The vulnerability was addressed in version 3.19.1 of jaraco/zipp. |
| SoftEtherVPN is a an open-source cross-platform multi-protocol VPN Program. When SoftEtherVPN is deployed with L2TP enabled on a device, it introduces the possibility of the host being used for amplification/reflection traffic generation because it will respond to every packet with two response packets that are larger than the request packet size. These sorts of techniques are used by external actors who generate spoofed source IPs to target a destination on the internet. This vulnerability has been patched in version 5.02.5185.

| A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in MSI Dragon Center up to 2.0.146.0. This affects the function MmUnMapIoSpace in the library NTIOLib_X64.sys of the component IOCTL Handler. The manipulation leads to null pointer dereference. It is possible to launch the attack on the local host. Upgrading to version 2.0.148.0 is able to address this issue. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. |
| A prototype pollution in the lib.fromQuery function of underscore-contrib v0.3.0 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted payload. |
| A prototype pollution in the lib.createUploader function of @rpldy/uploader v1.8.1 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted payload. |
| Misskey is an open source, federated social media platform. In affected versions FileServerService (media proxy) in github.com/misskey-dev/misskey 2024.10.1 or earlier did not detect proxy loops, which allows remote actors to execute a self-propagating reflected/amplified distributed denial-of-service via a maliciously crafted note. FileServerService.prototype.proxyHandler did not check incoming requests are not coming from another proxy server. An attacker can execute an amplified denial-of-service by sending a nested proxy request to the server and end the request with a malicious redirect back to another nested proxy request.
Leading to unbounded recursion until the original request is timed out. This issue has been addressed in version 2024.11.0-alpha.3. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade may configure the reverse proxy to block requests to the proxy with an empty User-Agent header or one containing Misskey/. An attacker can not effectively modify the User-Agent header without making another request to the server. |
| Starting in Python 3.12.0, the asyncio._SelectorSocketTransport.writelines()
method would not "pause" writing and signal to the Protocol to drain
the buffer to the wire once the write buffer reached the "high-water
mark". Because of this, Protocols would not periodically drain the write
buffer potentially leading to memory exhaustion.
This
vulnerability likely impacts a small number of users, you must be using
Python 3.12.0 or later, on macOS or Linux, using the asyncio module
with protocols, and using .writelines() method which had new
zero-copy-on-write behavior in Python 3.12.0 and later. If not all of
these factors are true then your usage of Python is unaffected. |
| ReQuest Serious Play F3 Media Server versions 7.0.3.4968 (Pro), 7.0.2.4954, 6.5.2.4954, 6.4.2.4681, 6.3.2.4203, and 2.0.1.823 contain a remote denial-of-service vulnerability. The device can be shut down or rebooted by an unauthenticated attacker through a single crafted HTTP GET request, allowing remote interruption of service availability. |
| A vulnerability was found in TP-Link VN020 F3v(T) TT_V6.2.1021. It has been rated as critical. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file /control/WANIPConnection of the component Incomplete SOAP Request Handler. The manipulation leads to denial of service. The attack can only be initiated within the local network. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| Incorrect access control in the Kafka Connect REST API in the STRIMZI Project 0.41.0 and earlier allows an attacker to deny the service for Kafka Mirroring, potentially mirror the topics' content to his Kafka cluster via a malicious connector (bypassing Kafka ACL if it exists), and potentially steal Kafka SASL credentials, by querying the MirrorMaker Kafka REST API. |
| A vulnerability classified as critical was found in Contemporary Control System BASrouter BACnet BASRT-B 2.7.2. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the component Application Protocol Data Unit. The manipulation leads to denial of service. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. VDB-263890 is the identifier assigned to this vulnerability. NOTE: The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC S7-200 SMART CPU CR40 (6ES7288-1CR40-0AA0) (All versions), SIMATIC S7-200 SMART CPU CR60 (6ES7288-1CR60-0AA0) (All versions), SIMATIC S7-200 SMART CPU SR20 (6ES7288-1SR20-0AA0) (All versions), SIMATIC S7-200 SMART CPU SR20 (6ES7288-1SR20-0AA1) (All versions), SIMATIC S7-200 SMART CPU SR30 (6ES7288-1SR30-0AA0) (All versions), SIMATIC S7-200 SMART CPU SR30 (6ES7288-1SR30-0AA1) (All versions), SIMATIC S7-200 SMART CPU SR40 (6ES7288-1SR40-0AA0) (All versions), SIMATIC S7-200 SMART CPU SR40 (6ES7288-1SR40-0AA1) (All versions), SIMATIC S7-200 SMART CPU SR60 (6ES7288-1SR60-0AA0) (All versions), SIMATIC S7-200 SMART CPU SR60 (6ES7288-1SR60-0AA1) (All versions), SIMATIC S7-200 SMART CPU ST20 (6ES7288-1ST20-0AA0) (All versions), SIMATIC S7-200 SMART CPU ST20 (6ES7288-1ST20-0AA1) (All versions), SIMATIC S7-200 SMART CPU ST30 (6ES7288-1ST30-0AA0) (All versions), SIMATIC S7-200 SMART CPU ST30 (6ES7288-1ST30-0AA1) (All versions), SIMATIC S7-200 SMART CPU ST40 (6ES7288-1ST40-0AA0) (All versions), SIMATIC S7-200 SMART CPU ST40 (6ES7288-1ST40-0AA1) (All versions), SIMATIC S7-200 SMART CPU ST60 (6ES7288-1ST60-0AA0) (All versions), SIMATIC S7-200 SMART CPU ST60 (6ES7288-1ST60-0AA1) (All versions). Affected devices do not properly handle TCP packets with an incorrect structure. This could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause a denial of service condition. To restore normal operations, the network cable of the device needs to be unplugged and re-plugged. |
| In FRRouting (FRR) before 10.3 from 6.0 onward, all routes are re-validated if the total size of an update received via RTR exceeds the internal socket's buffer size, default 4K on most OSes. An attacker can use this to trigger re-parsing of the RIB for FRR routers using RTR by causing more than this number of updates during an update interval (usually 30 minutes). Additionally, this effect regularly occurs organically. Furthermore, an attacker can use this to trigger route validation continuously. Given that routers with large full tables may need more than 30 minutes to fully re-validate the table, continuous issuance/withdrawal of large numbers of ROA may be used to impact the route handling performance of all FRR instances using RPKI globally. Additionally, the re-validation will cause heightened BMP traffic to ingestors. Fixed Versions: 10.0.3, 10.1.2, 10.2.1, >= 10.3. |
| A vulnerability in Node.js has been identified, allowing for a Denial of Service (DoS) attack through resource exhaustion when using the fetch() function to retrieve content from an untrusted URL.
The vulnerability stems from the fact that the fetch() function in Node.js always decodes Brotli, making it possible for an attacker to cause resource exhaustion when fetching content from an untrusted URL.
An attacker controlling the URL passed into fetch() can exploit this vulnerability to exhaust memory, potentially leading to process termination, depending on the system configuration. |
