CVSS v3.1 |
| Libevent is an event notification library. From 2.2.0-alpha-dev until 2.2.2-alpha, the libevent WebSocket server in ws.c accumulates fragmented frames in evws->incomplete_frames without enforcing a total message-size limit. An unauthenticated remote client can repeatedly send fragmented WebSocket frames below WS_MAX_RECV_FRAME_SZ with FIN=0, causing the evbuffer to grow without bound until the process or host exhausts memory. This issue is fixed in version 2.2.2-alpha. |
| sqlparse is a non-validating SQL parser module for Python. Prior to 0.6.0, group_comments in sqlparse/engine/grouping.py repeatedly rescans comment-only statements before the MAX_GROUPING_TOKENS guard, causing quadratic CPU consumption through sqlparse.parse() and sqlparse.format(sql, strip_comments=True). This issue is fixed in version 0.6.0. |
| sqlparse is a non-validating SQL parser module for Python. Prior to 0.6.0, TokenList construction and string conversion in sqlparse/sql.py repeatedly flatten nested token subtrees constructed by group_parenthesis and group_case, causing quadratic CPU consumption through sqlparse.parse(), sqlparse.format(), and sqlparse.split() before depth and token limits terminate processing. This issue is fixed in version 0.6.0. |
| Certain HP Smart Tank All-in-One printers may be potentially vulnerable to a denial of service condition that allows an unauthenticated attacker to cause the device to become unavailable by sending multiple concurrent HTTP requests. |
| Expat through 2.8.3 contains a denial of service vulnerability caused by quadratic algorithmic complexity in the storeAtts() function in xmlparse.c, where processing N specified attributes with non-normalized values triggers an O(N^2) linear scan of elementType->defaultAtts to determine CDATA status. A remote unauthenticated attacker can supply a single well-formed XML document of a few megabytes to an application parsing untrusted XML to cause excessive CPU consumption, resulting in denial of service without requiring authentication, external entity resolution, or non-default parser options. |
| Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers. Prior to 1.30.4, Mailpit decodes attacker-supplied image attachments into a full raster before checking decoded dimensions, pixel count, or memory use in the GET /api/v1/message/{id}/part/{partID}/thumb endpoint. The Thumbnail handler in server/apiv1/thumbnails.go obtains attachment bytes through storage.GetAttachmentPart(), accepts image/* content, and calls imaging.Decode() with AutoOrientation before imaging.Fill() scales the image to 180 by 120 pixels. A compact image declaring very large dimensions can therefore consume disproportionately large memory and CPU, and opening the message UI can trigger the same endpoint through server/ui-src/components/message/MessageAttachments.vue. This can degrade availability when an unauthenticated client can store the crafted attachment and reach the web API. This issue is fixed in version 1.30.4. |
| httplib2 is a comprehensive HTTP client library for Python. Prior to 0.32.0, httplib2 performs unbounded decompression of HTTP response bodies encoded with Content-Encoding: gzip or deflate in _decompressContent in httplib2/init.py, allowing a malicious or compromised HTTP server to return a small compressed payload that expands to an arbitrarily large size in memory and causes MemoryError or OOM-kill in the client process. This issue is fixed in version 0.32.0. |
| Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. Prior to 4.1.137.Final and 4.2.17.Final, the default io.netty.handler.ssl.SniHandler constructors use the pre-handshake ClientHello aggregation path in handler/src/main/java/io/netty/handler/ssl/SslClientHelloHandler.java at io.netty.handler.ssl.SslClientHelloHandler#decode, where handshakeBuffer.clear() and writeBytes() recopy all previously received body bytes for every additional TLS record. An unauthenticated remote peer can advertise a large ClientHello and deliver its body in thousands of tiny records, causing quadratic CPU work on the event loop before the TLS handshake completes and degrading TLS handling for other clients. This issue is fixed in versions 4.1.137.Final and 4.2.17.Final. |
| The incremental HTML parser (html.parser.HTMLParser) allows for CPU
denial-of-service through repeated unterminated markup declarations when
processing uncontrolled data. |
| IBM AIX 7.2, and 7.3 and IBM PowerVM VIOS 4.1 could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service due to uncontrolled resource consumption. |

| Tanium addressed a compression bomb vulnerability in Threat Response. |
| This issue was addressed through improved state management. This issue is fixed in Safari 26.6, iOS 26.6 and iPadOS 26.6, macOS Tahoe 26.6, visionOS 26.6. Visiting a website may lead to an app denial-of-service. |
| Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the Snort 3 Detection Engine that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to restart, resulting in an interruption of packet inspection.
This vulnerability is due to an error in the JSTokenizer normalization logic when the HTTP inspection normalizes JavaScript. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP packets through an established connection that is parsed by Snort 3. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause a DoS condition when the Snort 3 Detection Engine restarts unexpectedly. JSTokenizer is not enabled by default. |
| ZEBRA is a Zcash node written entirely in Rust. Prior to 4.5.0, an unauthenticated P2P peer can cause the mempool download pipeline to retain transactions after verification reaches the outer RATE_LIMIT_DELAY timeout. In zebrad/src/components/mempool/downloads.rs, Downloads::poll_next removed cancel_handles entries after success and ordinary verification errors, but tokio::time::error::Elapsed did not carry the UnminedTxId needed to remove the timed-out entry. Each retained cancel_handles entry could hold a full Gossip::Tx(UnminedTx), while normal mined-transaction cleanup could not match attacker transactions and no periodic garbage collection or count cap existed. Sustained traffic therefore caused monotonic memory growth until swap pressure degraded the node or the operating system terminated the zebrad process for exhausting memory. This issue is fixed in version 4.5.0. |
| fflate through 0.8.2 is vulnerable to denial of service via an infinite loop in unzipSync(). A crafted ZIP archive with a central directory entry declaring compressed_size=0xFFFFFFFF (ZIP64 sentinel) but missing the required ZIP64 extra field tag 0x0001 causes z64e() to loop indefinitely due to out-of-bounds reads returning undefined, which coerces to 0, keeping the loop condition permanently true. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Mobile Application Server product of Oracle E-Business Suite (component: MWA Terminal Server). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.3-12.2.15. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Mobile Application Server. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Mobile Application Server accessible data as well as unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Mobile Application Server accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of Oracle Mobile Application Server. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 6.7 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:L/A:H). |
| The SimpleSAMLphp SAML2 library is a PHP library for SAML2 related functionality. In 4.19.2 and 4.20.2, the library permits attacker-controlled XPath transforms while processing XML signatures in specially crafted SAML messages. XPath evaluation can consume uncontrolled processing resources, allowing a remote unauthenticated attacker to deny service to any entity relying on SimpleSAMLphp or directly on the SAML2 library. The mitigation limits the number of transforms, permits only transform algorithms identified by the SAML 2.0 Core specification, and specifically rejects XPath transforms. This issue is fixed in versions 4.19.3 and 4.20.3. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
hwmon: (adt7470) Fix busy-loop and I2C flooding in update thread
When userspace configures 'auto_update_interval' to 0 via sysfs, the
background kthread executes schedule_timeout_interruptible(0), which
returns immediately.
If 'num_temp_sensors' is concurrently or previously set to 0, the
msleep_interruptible() delay inside adt7470_read_temperatures() also
becomes 0. This combination forces the background thread into a tight,
unbounded busy-loop, hogging the CPU and flooding the I2C bus with a
continuous stream of transactions.
Fix this vulnerability by raising the lower limit of the clamp_val in
auto_update_interval_store() from 0 to 500 milliseconds. This guarantees
a reasonable minimum sleep window between sensor updates, protecting the
system from intentional or accidental I2C bus denial of service. |
