| CVE-2026-44893 | 1 Netty | 1 Netty | 2026-09-09 | 7.5 High |
| Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. In netty-codec-haproxy prior to versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final, when decoding a PP2_TYPE_SSL TLV, HAProxyMessage.readNextTLV() first calls `header.retainedSlice(header.readerIndex(), length)` and only then reads the 1-byte client field and 4-byte verify field. If the attacker sets the TLV length below 5, the subsequent readByte/readInt throws IndexOutOfBoundsException. HAProxyMessageDecoder only catches HAProxyProtocolException around this call, so the IOOBE propagates and the retained slice on the pooled cumulation buffer is never released. Versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final patch the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-44673 | 1 Cesnet | 1 Libyang | 2026-09-09 | 7.5 High |
| libyang is a YANG data modeling language library. Prior to SO 5.2.15, lyb_read_string() in src/parser_lyb.c contains an integer overflow that results in a heap buffer overflow when parsing a maliciously crafted LYB binary blob. An attacker who can supply LYB data to any libyang consumer (NETCONF server, sysrepo, etc.) can trigger a crash or potential heap corruption. This vulnerability is fixed in SO 5.2.15. | ||||
| CVE-2026-44249 | 1 Netty | 1 Netty | 2026-09-09 | 8.1 High |
| Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. In netty-handler prior to versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final, an attacker can bypass IPv6 subnet rules due to an incorrect masking operation in IpSubnetFilterRule.compareTo(). Valid public IP addresses can bypass the restrictions. Versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final patch the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-43133 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-09 | 7.9 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: nSVM: Always use vmcb01 in VMLOAD/VMSAVE emulation Commit cc3ed80ae69f ("KVM: nSVM: always use vmcb01 to for vmsave/vmload of guest state") made KVM always use vmcb01 for the fields controlled by VMSAVE/VMLOAD, but it missed updating the VMLOAD/VMSAVE emulation code to always use vmcb01. As a result, if VMSAVE/VMLOAD is executed by an L2 guest and is not intercepted by L1, KVM will mistakenly use vmcb02. Always use vmcb01 instead of the current VMCB. | ||||
| CVE-2026-43114 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-09 | 9.4 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nft_set_pipapo_avx2: don't return non-matching entry on expiry New test case fails unexpectedly when avx2 matching functions are used. The test first loads a ranomly generated pipapo set with 'ipv4 . port' key, i.e. nft -f foo. This works. Then, it reloads the set after a flush: (echo flush set t s; cat foo) | nft -f - This is expected to work, because its the same set after all and it was already loaded once. But with avx2, this fails: nft reports a clashing element. The reported clash is of following form: We successfully re-inserted a . b c . d Then we try to insert a . d avx2 finds the already existing a . d, which (due to 'flush set') is marked as invalid in the new generation. It skips the element and moves to next. Due to incorrect masking, the skip-step finds the next matching element *only considering the first field*, i.e. we return the already reinserted "a . b", even though the last field is different and the entry should not have been matched. No such error is reported for the generic c implementation (no avx2) or when the last field has to use the 'nft_pipapo_avx2_lookup_slow' fallback. Bisection points to 7711f4bb4b36 ("netfilter: nft_set_pipapo: fix range overlap detection") but that fix merely uncovers this bug. Before this commit, the wrong element is returned, but erronously reported as a full, identical duplicate. The root-cause is too early return in the avx2 match functions. When we process the last field, we should continue to process data until the entire input size has been consumed to make sure no stale bits remain in the map. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42587 | 2 Io.netty, Netty | 3 Netty-codec-http, Netty-codec-http2, Netty | 2026-09-09 | 7.5 High |
| Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. Prior to 4.2.13.Final and 4.1.133.Final, HttpContentDecompressor accepts a maxAllocation parameter to limit decompression buffer size and prevent decompression bomb attacks. This limit is correctly enforced for gzip and deflate encodings via ZlibDecoder, but is silently ignored when the content encoding is br (Brotli), zstd, or snappy. An attacker can bypass the configured decompression limit by sending a compressed payload with Content-Encoding: br instead of Content-Encoding: gzip, causing unbounded memory allocation and out-of-memory denial of service. The same vulnerability exists in DelegatingDecompressorFrameListener for HTTP/2 connections. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.13.Final and 4.1.133.Final. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42584 | 2 Io.netty, Netty | 2 Netty-codec-http, Netty | 2026-09-09 | 7.3 High |
| Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. Prior to 4.2.13.Final and 4.1.133.Final, HttpClientCodec pairs each inbound response with an outbound request by queue.poll() once per response, including for 1xx. If the client pipelines GET then HEAD and the server sends 103, then 200 with GET body, then 200 for HEAD, the queue pairs HEAD with the first 200. The HEAD rule then skips reading that message’s body, so the GET entity bytes stay on the stream and the following 200 is parsed from the wrong offset. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.13.Final and 4.1.133.Final. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42581 | 1 Netty | 1 Netty | 2026-09-09 | 5.8 Medium |
| Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. Prior to 4.2.13.Final and 4.1.133.Final, HttpObjectDecoder strips a conflicting Content-Length header when a request carries both Transfer-Encoding: chunked and Content-Length, but only for HTTP/1.1 messages. The guard is absent for HTTP/1.0. An attacker that sends an HTTP/1.0 request with both headers causes Netty to decode the body as chunked while leaving Content-Length intact in the forwarded HttpMessage. Any downstream proxy or handler that trusts Content-Length over Transfer-Encoding will disagree on message boundaries, enabling request smuggling. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.13.Final and 4.1.133.Final. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42579 | 1 Netty | 1 Netty | 2026-09-09 | 7.5 High |
| Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. Prior to 4.2.13.Final and 4.1.133.Final, Netty's DNS codec does not enforce RFC 1035 domain name constraints during either encoding or decoding. This creates a bidirectional attack surface: malicious DNS responses can exploit the decoder, and user-influenced hostnames can exploit the encoder. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.13.Final and 4.1.133.Final. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42578 | 1 Netty | 1 Netty | 2026-09-09 | 7.5 High |
| Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. Prior to 4.2.13.Final and 4.1.133.Final, Netty's HttpProxyHandler constructs HTTP CONNECT requests with header validation explicitly disabled. The newInitialMessage() method creates headers using DefaultHttpHeadersFactory.headersFactory().withValidation(false), then adds user-provided outboundHeaders without any CRLF validation. This allows an attacker who can influence the outbound headers to inject arbitrary HTTP headers into the CONNECT request sent to the proxy server. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.13.Final and 4.1.133.Final. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42508 | 1 Golang | 2 Crypto, Ssh | 2026-09-09 | 9.1 Critical |
| Previously, a revoked 'SignatureKey' belonging to a CA was not correctly checked for revocation. Now, both the 'key' and 'key.SignatureKey' are checked for @revoked. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42499 | 2 Go Standard Library, Golang | 2 Net\/mail, Go | 2026-09-09 | 7.5 High |
| Pathological inputs could cause DoS through consumePhrase when parsing an email address according to RFC 5322. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42338 | 1 Beaugunderson | 1 Ip-address | 2026-09-09 | 6.1 Medium |
| ip-address is a library for parsing and manipulating IPv4 and IPv6 addresses in JavaScript. Prior to 10.1.1, Address6.group() and Address6.link() do not HTML-escape attacker-controlled content before embedding it in the HTML strings they return, and AddressError.parseMessage (emitted by the Address6 constructor for invalid input) can contain unescaped attacker-controlled content in one branch. An application that (1) passes untrusted input to Address6 and (2) renders the output of these methods, or the thrown error's parseMessage, as HTML (e.g. via innerHTML) is vulnerable to cross-site scripting. This vulnerability is fixed in 10.1.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42151 | 1 Prometheus | 1 Prometheus | 2026-09-09 | 7.5 High |
| Prometheus is an open-source monitoring system and time series database. Prior to versions 3.5.3 and 3.11.3, the client_secret field in the Azure AD remote write OAuth configuration (storage/remote/azuread) was typed as string instead of Secret. Prometheus redacts fields of type Secret when serving the configuration via the /-/config HTTP API endpoint. Because the field was a plain string, the Azure OAuth client secret was exposed in plaintext to any user or process with access to that endpoint. This issue has been patched in versions 3.5.3 and 3.11.3. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42027 | 1 Apache | 1 Opennlp | 2026-09-09 | 9.8 Critical |
| Arbitrary Class Instantiation via Model Manifest in Apache OpenNLP ExtensionLoader Versions Affected: before 1.9.5, before 2.5.9, before 3.0.0-M3 Description: The ExtensionLoader.instantiateExtension(Class, String) method loads a class by its fully-qualified name via Class.forName() and invokes its no-arg constructor, with the class name sourced from the manifest.properties entry of a model archive. The existing isAssignableFrom check correctly rejects classes that are not subtypes of the expected extension interface (BaseToolFactory for factory=, ArtifactSerializer for serializer-class-*), but the check runs after Class.forName() has already loaded and initialized the named class. Class.forName() with default initialization semantics executes the target class's static initializer before returning, so an attacker who can supply a crafted model archive can cause the static initializer of any class on the classpath to run during model loading, regardless of whether that class passes the subsequent type check. Exploitation requires a class with attacker-useful side effects in its static initializer (for example, JNDI lookup, outbound network I/O, or filesystem access) to be present on the classpath, so this is not a drop-in remote code execution; however, the attack surface grows as third-party model distribution becomes more common (community model repositories, Hugging Face-style sharing), where users routinely load model files from origins they do not control. A secondary, narrower vector affects deployments that ship legitimate BaseToolFactory or ArtifactSerializer subclasses with side-effecting no-arg constructors: a malicious manifest can name such a class and force its constructor to run during model load. Mitigation: * 2.x users should upgrade to 2.5.9. * 3.x users should upgrade to 3.0.0-M3. Note: The fix introduces a package-prefix allowlist that is consulted before Class.forName() is invoked, so the static initializer of a disallowed class is never executed. Classes under the opennlp. prefix remain permitted by default. Deployments that load models referencing factories or serializers outside opennlp.* must opt those packages in, either programmatically via ExtensionLoader.registerAllowedPackage(String) before the first model load, or by setting the OPENNLP_EXT_ALLOWED_PACKAGES system property to a comma-separated list of allowed package prefixes. Users who cannot upgrade immediately should ensure that all model files are sourced from trusted origins and should audit their classpath for classes with side-effecting static initializers or constructors, particularly any that perform JNDI lookups, network requests, or filesystem operations during class initialization. | ||||
| CVE-2026-40895 | 2 Follow-redirects, Follow-redirects Project | 2 Follow Redirects, Follow-redirects | 2026-09-09 | 7.5 High |
| follow-redirects is an open source, drop-in replacement for Node's `http` and `https` modules that automatically follows redirects. Prior to 1.16.0, when an HTTP request follows a cross-domain redirect (301/302/307/308), follow-redirects only strips authorization, proxy-authorization, and cookie headers (matched by regex at index.js). Any custom authentication header (e.g., X-API-Key, X-Auth-Token, Api-Key, Token) is forwarded verbatim to the redirect target. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.16.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-40192 | 2 Python, Python-pillow | 2 Pillow, Pillow | 2026-09-09 | 7.5 High |
| Pillow is a Python imaging library. Versions 10.3.0 through 12.1.1 did not limit the amount of GZIP-compressed data read when decoding a FITS image, making them vulnerable to decompression bomb attacks. A specially crafted FITS file could cause unbounded memory consumption, leading to denial of service (OOM crash or severe performance degradation). If users are unable to immediately upgrade, they should only open specific image formats, excluding FITS, as a workaround. | ||||
| CVE-2026-39883 | 1 Opentelemetry | 2 Opentelemetry, Opentelemetry-go | 2026-09-09 | 7 High |
| OpenTelemetry-Go is the Go implementation of OpenTelemetry. From 1.15.0 to 1.42.0, the fix for CVE-2026-24051 changed the Darwin ioreg command to use an absolute path but left the BSD kenv command using a bare name, allowing the same PATH hijacking attack on BSD and Solaris platforms. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.43.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-39835 | 1 Golang | 2 Crypto, Ssh | 2026-09-09 | 5.3 Medium |
| SSH servers which use CertChecker as a public key callback without setting IsUserAuthority or IsHostAuthority could be caused to panic by a client presenting a certificate. CertChecker now returns an error instead of panicking when these callbacks are nil. | ||||
| CVE-2026-39829 | 1 Golang | 2 Crypto, Ssh | 2026-09-09 | 7.5 High |
| The RSA and DSA public key parsers did not enforce size limits on key parameters. A crafted public key with an excessively large modulus or DSA parameter could cause several minutes of CPU consumption during signature verification. This could be triggered by unauthenticated clients during public key authentication. RSA moduli are now limited to 8192 bits, and DSA parameters are validated per FIPS 186-2. | ||||
