CVE-2025-22044 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-30 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: acpi: nfit: fix narrowing conversion in acpi_nfit_ctl Syzkaller has reported a warning in to_nfit_bus_uuid(): "only secondary bus families can be translated". This warning is emited if the argument is equal to NVDIMM_BUS_FAMILY_NFIT == 0. Function acpi_nfit_ctl() first verifies that a user-provided value call_pkg->nd_family of type u64 is not equal to 0. Then the value is converted to int, and only after that is compared to NVDIMM_BUS_FAMILY_MAX. This can lead to passing an invalid argument to acpi_nfit_ctl(), if call_pkg->nd_family is non-zero, while the lower 32 bits are zero. Furthermore, it is best to return EINVAL immediately upon seeing the invalid user input. The WARNING is insufficient to prevent further undefined behavior based on other invalid user input. All checks of the input value should be applied to the original variable call_pkg->nd_family. [iweiny: update commit message]

CVE-2026-46680 2 Containerd, Linuxfoundation 2 Containerd, Containerd 2026-07-02 7.8 High
containerd is an open-source container runtime. In versions prior to 1.7.32, 2.0.9, 2.2.4 and 2.3.1, containers launched with a numeric User directive that cannot be parsed as a 32-bit integer are incorrectly treated as a username, leading to runAsNonRoot evasion. If a crafted image provides an /etc/passwd file mapping this large numeric string to root, the container ultimately runs as root (UID 0). This allows the Kubernetes runAsNonRoot restriction to be bypassed, causing unexpected behavior for environments that require containers to run as a non-root user. This issue has been fixed in versions 1.7.32, 2.0.9, 2.2.4 and 2.3.1.
CVE-2026-53466 1 Imagemagick 1 Imagemagick 2026-07-02 6.5 Medium
ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 6.9.13-51 and 7.1.2-26, an integer overflow in the XCF decoder can result in an out of bounds read when a crafted image is read, potentially resulting in a crash. This issue has been fixed in versions 6.9.13-51 and 7.1.2-26.
CVE-2026-45258 1 Freebsd 1 Freebsd 2026-06-29 7.8 High
dsp_mmap_single() validated the requested mapping by checking the sum of the user-supplied offset and length against the buffer size. This addition could overflow, so that a large offset and length wrapped around and passed the check. The offset was then narrowed from 64 to 32 bits when converted to a buffer address, yielding a mapping that extended past the audio buffer into unrelated kernel memory. The /dev/dsp device nodes are world-accessible by default. On a system with an audio device, either issue allows an unprivileged local user to read and write kernel memory, which can be used to escalate privileges, potentially gaining full control of the affected system. At a minimum, an attacker can crash the kernel, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
CVE-2026-53133 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-28 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/umem: Fix truncation for block sizes >= 4G When the iommu is used the linearization of the mapping can give a single block that is very large split across multiple SG entries. When __rdma_block_iter_next() reassembles the split SG entries it is overflowing the 32 bit stack values and computed the wrong DMA addresses for blocks after the truncation. Use the right types to hold DMA addresses.
CVE-2026-53110 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-28 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/bpf: Zero-extend bpf prog return values and kfunc arguments s390x ABI requires callers to zero-extend unsigned arguments and sign-extend signed arguments, and callees to zero-extend unsigned return values and sign-extend signed return values. s390 BPF JIT currently implements only sign extension. Fix this omission and implement zero extension too.
CVE-2026-4602 1 Kjur 1 Jsrsasign 2026-06-25 7.5 High
Versions of the package jsrsasign before 11.1.1 are vulnerable to Incorrect Conversion between Numeric Types due to handling negative exponents in ext/jsbn2.js. An attacker can force the computation of incorrect modular inverses and break signature verification by calling modPow with a negative exponent.
CVE-2026-53923 2 Vllm, Vllm-project 2 Vllm, Vllm 2026-06-23 7.5 High
vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). From 0.5.5 until 0.23.1rc0, integer truncation of tensor dimensions in vLLM's GGUF dequantize kernels (csrc/quantization/gguf/gguf_kernel.cu) causes partial tensor processing. The output tensor is allocated at full size via torch::empty (uninitialized memory), but the dequantize CUDA kernel processes only a truncated number of elements. The unfilled portion of the output tensor retains whatever was previously in GPU memory. In multi-tenant inference deployments, this residual GPU memory may contain tensor data from other users' inference requests, constituting information disclosure. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.23.1rc0.
CVE-2026-9143 1 Ni 3 Grpc-device, Instrumentstudio, Ni Grpc Device Server 2026-06-22 3.7 Low
There is an incorrect conversion between numeric types vulnerability in NI grpc-device due to missing range checks in CodeGen.  This may silently discard high bits if a size value exceeded the target type's range. This affects NI grpc-device 2.17.0 and prior versions.
CVE-2026-46013 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-16 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/memfd_luo: fix physical address conversion in put_folios cleanup In memfd_luo_retrieve_folios()'s put_folios cleanup path: 1. kho_restore_folio() expects a phys_addr_t (physical address) but receives a raw PFN (pfolio->pfn). This causes kho_restore_page() to check the wrong physical address (pfn << PAGE_SHIFT instead of the actual physical address). 2. This loop lacks the !pfolio->pfn check that exists in the main retrieval loop and memfd_luo_discard_folios(), which could incorrectly process sparse file holes where pfn=0. Fix by converting PFN to physical address with PFN_PHYS() and adding the !pfolio->pfn check, matching the pattern used elsewhere in this file. This issue was identified by the AI review. https://sashiko.dev/#/patchset/20260323110747.193569-1-duanchenghao@kylinos.cn
CVE-2026-23085 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: irqchip/gic-v3-its: Avoid truncating memory addresses On 32-bit machines with CONFIG_ARM_LPAE, it is possible for lowmem allocations to be backed by addresses physical memory above the 32-bit address limit, as found while experimenting with larger VMSPLIT configurations. This caused the qemu virt model to crash in the GICv3 driver, which allocates the 'itt' object using GFP_KERNEL. Since all memory below the 4GB physical address limit is in ZONE_DMA in this configuration, kmalloc() defaults to higher addresses for ZONE_NORMAL, and the ITS driver stores the physical address in a 32-bit 'unsigned long' variable. Change the itt_addr variable to the correct phys_addr_t type instead, along with all other variables in this driver that hold a physical address. The gicv5 driver correctly uses u64 variables, while all other irqchip drivers don't call virt_to_phys or similar interfaces. It's expected that other device drivers have similar issues, but fixing this one is sufficient for booting a virtio based guest.
CVE-2026-24192 1 Nvidia 7 Geforce, Gpu Display Driver, Nvs and 4 more 2026-06-11 7.8 High
NVIDIA Display Driver for Linux contains a vulnerability where an attacker could cause an incorrect conversion between numeric types, leading to a heap buffer overflow. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to denial of service, escalation of privileges, information disclosure, data tampering, and code execution.
CVE-2024-49093 1 Microsoft 3 Windows 11 24h2, Windows 11 24h2, Windows Server 2025 2026-06-09 8.8 High
Windows Resilient File System (ReFS) Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability
CVE-2026-45878 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-30 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: Fix watch_id bounds checking in debug address watch v2 The address watch clear code receives watch_id as an unsigned value (u32), but some helper functions were using a signed int and checked bits by shifting with watch_id. If a very large watch_id is passed from userspace, it can be converted to a negative value. This can cause invalid shifts and may access memory outside the watch_points array. drm/amdkfd: Fix watch_id bounds checking in debug address watch v2 Fix this by checking that watch_id is within MAX_WATCH_ADDRESSES before using it. Also use BIT(watch_id) to test and clear bits safely. This keeps the behavior unchanged for valid watch IDs and avoids undefined behavior for invalid ones. Fixes the below: drivers/gpu/drm/amd/amdgpu/../amdkfd/kfd_debug.c:448 kfd_dbg_trap_clear_dev_address_watch() error: buffer overflow 'pdd->watch_points' 4 <= u32max user_rl='0-3,2147483648-u32max' uncapped drivers/gpu/drm/amd/amdgpu/../amdkfd/kfd_debug.c 433 int kfd_dbg_trap_clear_dev_address_watch(struct kfd_process_device *pdd, 434 uint32_t watch_id) 435 { 436 int r; 437 438 if (!kfd_dbg_owns_dev_watch_id(pdd, watch_id)) kfd_dbg_owns_dev_watch_id() doesn't check for negative values so if watch_id is larger than INT_MAX it leads to a buffer overflow. (Negative shifts are undefined). 439 return -EINVAL; 440 441 if (!pdd->dev->kfd->shared_resources.enable_mes) { 442 r = debug_lock_and_unmap(pdd->dev->dqm); 443 if (r) 444 return r; 445 } 446 447 amdgpu_gfx_off_ctrl(pdd->dev->adev, false); --> 448 pdd->watch_points[watch_id] = pdd->dev->kfd2kgd->clear_address_watch( 449 pdd->dev->adev, 450 watch_id); v2: (as per, Jonathan Kim) - Add early watch_id >= MAX_WATCH_ADDRESSES validation in the set path to match the clear path. - Drop the redundant bounds check in kfd_dbg_owns_dev_watch_id().
CVE-2026-23457 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-26 8.6 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack_sip: fix Content-Length u32 truncation in sip_help_tcp() sip_help_tcp() parses the SIP Content-Length header with simple_strtoul(), which returns unsigned long, but stores the result in unsigned int clen. On 64-bit systems, values exceeding UINT_MAX are silently truncated before computing the SIP message boundary. For example, Content-Length 4294967328 (2^32 + 32) is truncated to 32, causing the parser to miscalculate where the current message ends. The loop then treats trailing data in the TCP segment as a second SIP message and processes it through the SDP parser. Fix this by changing clen to unsigned long to match the return type of simple_strtoul(), and reject Content-Length values that exceed the remaining TCP payload length.
CVE-2026-4931 1 Marginal 2 Marginal Smart Contract, V1-core 2026-05-22 6.8 Medium
Smart contract Marginal v1 performs unsafe downcast, allowing attackers to settle a large debt position for a negligible asset cost.
CVE-2026-43405 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-21 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: Use u32 for non-negative values in ceph_monmap_decode() This patch fixes unnecessary implicit conversions that change signedness of blob_len and num_mon in ceph_monmap_decode(). Currently blob_len and num_mon are (signed) int variables. They are used to hold values that are always non-negative and get assigned in ceph_decode_32_safe(), which is meant to assign u32 values. Both variables are subsequently used as unsigned values, and the value of num_mon is further assigned to monmap->num_mon, which is of type u32. Therefore, both variables should be of type u32. This is especially relevant for num_mon. If the value read from the incoming message is very large, it is interpreted as a negative value, and the check for num_mon > CEPH_MAX_MON does not catch it. This leads to the attempt to allocate a very large chunk of memory for monmap, which will most likely fail. In this case, an unnecessary attempt to allocate memory is performed, and -ENOMEM is returned instead of -EINVAL.
CVE-2026-43185 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: fix signededness bug in smb_direct_prepare_negotiation() smb_direct_prepare_negotiation() casts an unsigned __u32 value from sp->max_recv_size and req->preferred_send_size to a signed int before computing min_t(int, ...). A maliciously provided preferred_send_size of 0x80000000 will return as smaller than max_recv_size, and then be used to set the maximum allowed alowed receive size for the next message. By sending a second message with a large value (>1420 bytes) the attacker can then achieve a heap buffer overflow. This fix replaces min_t(int, ...) with min_t(u32)
