CVSS v3.1 |
NVIDIA NVApp for Windows contains a vulnerability in the installer, where a local attacker can cause a search path element issue. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution and escalation of privileges.
A DLL hijacking vulnerability was reported in the Motorola Software Fix (Rescue and Smart Assistant) installer that could allow a local attacker to escalate privileges during installation of the software.
Uncontrolled search path in some Intel(R) Processor Identification Utility software before versions 6.10.34.1129, 7.1.6 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
GCafé 3.0 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in the gbClientService that allows local attackers to potentially execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges. Attackers can exploit the unquoted path in the service configuration to inject malicious executables that will be run with LocalSystem permissions.
The Qualys Cloud Agent included a bundled uninstall script (qagent_uninstall.sh), specific to Mac and Linux supported versions that invoked multiple system commands without using absolute paths and without sanitizing the $PATH environment. If the uninstall script is executed with elevated privileges (e.g., via sudo) in an environment where $PATH has been manipulated, an attacker with root/sudo privileges could cause malicious executables to be run in place of the intended system binaries. This behavior can be leveraged for local privilege escalation and arbitrary command execution under elevated privileges.
Adaware Web Companion version 4.8.2078.3950 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in the WCAssistantService that allows local users to potentially execute code with elevated privileges. Attackers can exploit the unquoted path in C:\Program Files (x86)\Lavasoft\Web Companion\Application\ to inject malicious code that would execute with LocalSystem privileges during service startup.
Uncontrolled search path for some Intel(R) QAT software before version 2.3.0 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
Uncontrolled search path in some Intel(R) AI for Enterprise Retrieval-augmented Generation software may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
Improper permission control vulnerability in the OXARI ServiceDesk application could allow an attacker using a guest access or an unprivileged account to gain additional administrative permissions in the application. This issue affects OXARI ServiceDesk in versions before 2.0.324.0.
Uncontrolled search path in some Intel(R) Ethernet Connection I219-LM install software may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
Disk Savvy Enterprise 12.3.18 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in its service configuration that allows local attackers to potentially execute arbitrary code. Attackers can exploit the unquoted path in 'C:\Program Files\Disk Savvy Enterprise\bin\disksvs.exe' to inject malicious executables and escalate privileges.
Uncontrolled search path for some Intel(R) Computing Improvement Program software before version 2.4.0.10654 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
eBeam Education Suite 2.5.0.9 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in the eBeam Device Service that allows local users to potentially execute code with elevated privileges. Attackers can exploit the unquoted path in the service configuration to inject malicious code that would execute with LocalSystem privileges during service startup.
Emerson PAC Machine Edition 9.80 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in the TrapiServer service that allows local users to potentially execute code with elevated privileges. Attackers can exploit the unquoted path in the service configuration to inject malicious code that would execute with LocalSystem permissions during service startup.
Xerox Desktop Print Experience application contains a Local Privilege Escalation (LPE) vulnerability, which allows a low-privileged user to gain SYSTEM-level access.
| When the service of ABP and AES is installed in a directory writable by non-administrative users, an attacker can replace or plant a DLL with the same name as one loaded by the service. Upon service restart, the malicious DLL is loaded and executed under the LocalSystem account, resulting in unauthorized code execution with elevated privileges.
This issue affects ABP and AES: from ABP 2.0 through 2.0.7.9050, from AES 1.0 through 1.0.6.8290. |
Uncontrolled search path element for some Intel(R) Driver & Support Assistant Tool software before version 24.6.49.8 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
Race condition for some some Intel(R) PROSet/Wireless WiFi software for Windows before version 23.20 may allow an unauthenticated user to potentially enable denial of service via adjacent access.
A vulnerability was found in Parsec Automation TrackSYS 11.x.x and classified as problematic. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file /TS/export/pagedefinition. The manipulation of the argument ID leads to direct request. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The associated identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-269159. NOTE: The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
Private Internet Access 3.3 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability that allows local users to potentially execute arbitrary code with elevated system privileges. Attackers can exploit the unquoted path in the service configuration to inject malicious code that would execute with LocalSystem permissions during service startup.
