CVSS v3.1 |
| TheServer 1.74 web server stores server.ini under the web document root with insufficient access control, which allows remote attackers to obtain cleartext passwords and gain access to server log files. |
| NessusWX 1.4.4 stores account passwords in plaintext in .session files, which allows local users to obtain passwords. |
| VMware ESX Server 2.0.x before 2.0.2 and 2.x before 2.5.2 patch 4 stores authentication credentials in base 64 encoded format in the vmware.mui.kid and vmware.mui.sid cookies, which allows attackers to gain privileges by obtaining the cookies using attacks such as cross-site scripting (CVE-2005-3619). |
| The www-data user can elevate its privileges because sudo is configured to allow the execution of the mount command as root without a password. Therefore, the privileges can be escalated to the root user. The risk has been accepted by the vendor and won't be fixed in the near future. |
| Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in a Command ('Command Injection') vulnerability allows OS Command Injection as root
This issue affects Iocharger firmware for AC model chargers before version 24120701
Likelihood: Moderate – The <redacted> binary does not seem to be used by the web interface, so it might be more difficult to find. It seems to be largely the same binary as used by the Iocharger Pedestal charging station, however. The attacker will also need a (low privilege) account to gain access to the <redacted> binary, or convince a user with such access to execute a crafted HTTP request.
Impact: Critical – The attacker has full control over the charging station as the root user, and can arbitrarily add, modify and delete
files and services. |
| Attackers with local access to the medical office computer can
escalate their Windows user privileges to "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" by
overwriting one of two Elefant service binaries with weak permissions. The default installation directory of Elefant is "C:\Elefant1" which is
writable for all users. In addition, the Elefant installer registers two
Firebird database services which are running as “NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM”.
Path: C:\Elefant1\Firebird_2\bin\fbserver.exe
Path: C:\Elefant1\Firebird_2\bin\fbguard.exe
Both service binaries are user writable. This means that a local
attacker can rename one of the service binaries, replace the service
executable with a new executable, and then restart the system. Once the
system has rebooted, the new service binary is executed as "NT
AUTHORITY\SYSTEM". |
| A hard-coded weak password vulnerability has been discovered in all Magic-branded devices from Chinese network equipment manufacturer H3C. The vulnerability stems from the use of a hard-coded weak password for the root account in the /etc/shadow configuration or even the absence of any password at all. Some of these devices have the Telnet service enabled by default, or users can choose to enable the Telnet service in other device management interfaces (e.g. /debug.asp or /debug_telnet.asp). In addition, these devices have related interfaces called Virtual Servers, which can map the devices to the public network, posing the risk of remote attacks. Therefore, attackers can obtain the highest root privileges of the devices through the Telnet service using the weak password hardcoded in the firmware (or without a password), and remote attacks are possible. |
| FydeOS for PC 17.1 R114, FydeOS for VMware 17.0 R114, FydeOS for You 17.1 R114, and OpenFyde R114 were discovered to be configured with the root password saved as a wildcard. This allows attackers to gain root access without a password. |
| A local privilege escalation vulnerability in SonicWall NetExtender Windows (32 and 64 bit) client which allows an attacker to trigger an arbitrary file deletion. |
| The Single RAN baseband OAM service is intended to run as an unprivileged service. However, it initially starts with root privileges and assigns certain capabilities before dropping to an unprivileged level. The capabilities retained from the root period are considered extensive after the privilege drop and, in theory, could potentially allow actions beyond the intended scope of the OAM service. These actions could include gaining root privileges, accessing root-owned files, modifying them as the file owner, and then returning them to root ownership. This issue has been corrected starting from release 24R1-SR 0.2 MP and later.
Beginning with release 24R1-SR 0.2 MP, the OAM service software capabilities are restricted to the minimum necessary. |
| NetSupport Manager < 14.12.0001 relies on a shared Gateway Key for authentication between Manager/Control, Client, and Connectivity Server components. The key is stored using a reversible encoding scheme. An attacker who obtains access to a deployed client configuration file can decode the stored value to recover the plaintext Gateway Key. Possession of the Gateway Key allows unauthorized access to NetSupport Manager connectivity services and enables remote control of systems managed through the same key. |
| In BootRom, there's a possible unchecked command index. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. |
| The access control in CemiPark software stores integration (e.g. FTP or SIP) credentials in plain-text. An attacker who gained unauthorized access to the device can retrieve clear text passwords used by the system. This issue affects CemiPark software: 4.5, 4.7, 5.03 and potentially others. The vendor refused to provide the specific range of affected products.

| Unchecked return value in SDM firmware for Intel(R) Stratix 10 and Intel(R) Agilex 7 FPGAs before version 23.3 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable denial of service via adjacent access. |
| User passwords are decrypted and stored on memory before any user logged in. Those decrypted passwords can be retrieved from the coredump file. As for the details of affected product names, model numbers, and versions, refer to the information provided by the respective vendors listed under [References]. |
| Toshiba printers use SNMP for configuration. Using the private community, it is possible to remotely execute commands as root on the remote printer. Using this vulnerability will allow any attacker to get a root access on a remote Toshiba printer. This vulnerability can be executed in combination with other vulnerabilities and difficult to execute alone. So, the CVSS score for this vulnerability alone is lower than the score listed in the "Base Score" of this vulnerability. | A vulnerability has been found in FAST/TOOLS and CI Server. The affected products have built-in accounts with no passwords set. Therefore, if the product is operated without a password set by default, an attacker can break into the affected product.
The affected products and versions are as follows:
FAST/TOOLS (Packages: RVSVRN, UNSVRN, HMIWEB, FTEES, HMIMOB) R9.01 to R10.04
CI Server R1.01.00 to R1.03.00 |
| Charmed MySQL K8s operator is a Charmed Operator for running MySQL on Kubernetes. Before revision 221, the method for calling a SQL DDL or python based mysql-shell scripts can leak database users credentials. The method mysql-operator calls mysql-shell application rely on writing to a temporary script file containing the full URI, with user and password. The file can be read by a unprivileged user during the operator runtime, due it being created with read permissions (0x644). On other cases, when calling mysql cli, for one specific case when creating the operator users, the DDL contains said users credentials, which can be leak through the same mechanism of a temporary file. All versions prior to revision 221 for kubernetes and revision 338 for machine operators. |
| A vulnerability was identified in SUR-FBD CMMS where hard-coded credentials were found within a compiled DLL file. These credentials correspond to a built-in administrative account of the software. An attacker with local access to the system or the application's installation directory could extract these credentials, potentially leading to a complete compromise of the application's administrative functions. This issue was fixed in version 2025.03.27 of the SUR-FBD CMMS software. |
| A vulnerability was identified in FNKvision Y215 CCTV Camera 10.194.120.40. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file /etc/passwd of the component Firmware. Such manipulation leads to hard-coded credentials. Local access is required to approach this attack. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
