CVSS v3.1 |
| A flaw was found in the iscsiuio component of open-iscsi. The DHCPv4 option parser incorrectly calculates the length of the options data, causing it to read beyond the allocated buffer into adjacent heap memory. An attacker on the same network segment can send a crafted DHCP response to crash the daemon or corrupt its network configuration. |
| A heap buffer overflow flaw was found in 389 Directory Server. When serializing objectclass definitions, the oc_superior (SUP) field length is omitted from buffer size calculations in read_schema_dse() and schema_oc_to_string(), but the field is still written via strcat(). An attacker with Directory Manager privileges, or a compromised replication supplier, can trigger a server crash by creating objectclasses with long SUP values. This is an incomplete fix variant of CVE-2025-14905. |
| A flaw was found in 389 Directory Server. The SMD5 password storage plugin performs unsigned integer underflow when computing salt length from a crafted password hash shorter than 16 bytes, causing a buffer over-read that crashes the LDAP server during authentication. |
| A flaw was found in 389 Directory Server. The ldap_utf8prev() function reads bytes before the start of a buffer without bounds checking, causing a heap buffer over-read in string filter parsing that may influence internal filter processing behavior. |
| A flaw was found in Ghostscript. When processing a specially crafted TrueType font or document embedding one, an accounting error during font rendering can bypass buffer size checks, triggering a heap-based buffer overflow. A remote attacker could exploit this by enticing a victim or automated service to open the malicious content, potentially resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) crash or arbitrary code execution. |
| A flaw was found in gnome-remote-desktop as shipped in Red Hat Enterprise Linux. In the VNC TLS read path, partial consumption of the internal peek buffer incorrectly moves remaining peeked bytes into the caller-supplied buffer instead of compacting the peek buffer. A remote attacker who can reach an enabled VNC TLS listener and trigger a peek/read size mismatch can cause an out-of-bounds write, leading to denial of service. |
| A crafted DXF document causes a heap buffer overflow in Draw in Apache OpenOffice 4.1.16 and earlier. This could cause a crash or otherwise a corruption of memory areas.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.1.17, which fixes this issue. |
| A vulnerability was identified in Ruijie RG-ES205GC, RG-ES206GC-P, RG-ES208GC, RG-ES210GC-LP and RG-ES210GS-P ESW_1.0(1)B1P48. Impacted is an unknown function of the file httpupg.cgi of the component Local Firmware Upgrade Interface. The manipulation leads to buffer overflow. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A vulnerability was detected in Delgan loguru 0.7.3. The affected element is the function AnsiParser.feed of the file loguru/_colorizer.py of the component ANSI Color-Markup Parser. Performing a manipulation results in inefficient regular expression complexity. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A vulnerability was identified in D-Link DIR-505 1.10B02. Affected is the function save_upload_file/mp_upload_file of the file /usr/bin/tftpd of the component TFTP Upload Filename Handler. The manipulation leads to stack-based buffer overflow. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. |
| libpff through 20260926 contains an off-by-one bounds check in libpff_table_read_6c_record_entries that allows attackers to trigger a heap out-of-bounds read via crafted 6c table record entries. Attackers can supply crafted PST, OST or PAB files to applications like pffexport or pypff to read adjacent heap memory or cause crashes. |
| llama.cpp before b5649 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in llama_vocab::impl::print_info() that allows attackers to crash model loading via oversized special token IDs. Attackers can supply a crafted GGUF model with a short tokenizer.ggml.tokens array, causing llama-cli or llama-server to read past id_to_token and crash. |
| Envoy is a cloud-native, open source edge and service proxy. There is a crash at `QuicheDataReader::PeekVarInt62Length()`. It is caused by integer underflow in the `QuicStreamSequencerBuffer::PeekRegion()` implementation. |
| A flaw was found in libssh. The API function `ssh_get_hexa()` is vulnerable to a denial of service when processing zero-length input. This can be exploited remotely by an attacker during GSSAPI (Generic Security Service Application Program Interface) authentication if the server's logging verbosity is set to `SSH_LOG_PACKET (3)` or higher. Successful exploitation could lead to a self-Denial of Service of the per-connection daemon process. |
| A flaw was found in gix-date. The `gix_date::parse::TimeBuf::as_str` function can generate strings containing invalid non-UTF8 characters. This issue violates the internal safety invariants of the `TimeBuf` component, leading to undefined behavior when these malformed strings are subsequently processed. This could potentially result in application instability or other unforeseen consequences. |
| A flaw exists in gdk‑pixbuf within the gdk_pixbuf__jpeg_image_load_increment function (io-jpeg.c) and in glib’s g_base64_encode_step (glib/gbase64.c). When processing maliciously crafted JPEG images, a heap buffer overflow can occur during Base64 encoding, allowing out-of-bounds reads from heap memory, potentially causing application crashes or arbitrary code execution. |
| A flaw was found in dash. When built without libc fnmatch, the internal pmatch() matcher implements * by unbounded recursion over candidate positions. A local user who can plant filenames, or otherwise feed that matcher, can make a short multi-star pattern such as *.*.*.*.*.tar.gz consume excessive CPU. |
| Incorrect default value in the REST API framework's .rest.xml definition parser (ModelApiReader) in Apache OFBiz through 24.09.07 on all platforms allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to invoke a REST API operation without providing valid credentials via a .rest.xml resource or operation definition that omits the auth attribute, which ModelApiReader incorrectly resolves to false instead of the true default declared by rest-api.xsd.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 24.09.08, which fixes this issue. |
| A flaw was found in Eye of GNOME (eog). A heap-based buffer overflow exists in the PNG metadata reader due to improper state handling when parsing split metadata chunks. A remote attacker could exploit this flaw by enticing a user into opening a specially crafted PNG file, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution or a Denial of Service (DoS) via application crash. |
| A flaw was found in luksmeta. A local attacker with administrative privileges can cause data corruption when saving metadata to a Linux Unified Key Setup (LUKS) device. Due to incorrect boundary calculations and flawed overlap detection, new metadata entries can be written beyond available free space or over existing records. This issue can corrupt stored encrypted payload data or existing metadata, potentially rendering the affected data inaccessible. |
