CVSS v3.1 |
| Buffer over-read in Windows Overlay Filter allows an authorized attacker to execute code locally. |
| MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, ST_Area reads beyond the allocated buffer when processing invalid WKB for a MultiPolygon because the multi-polygon parser advances past a nested geometry header without first verifying enough input remains. A low-privileged remote attacker can supply malformed spatial data to disclose memory useful for bypassing ASLR as part of a multi-vulnerability chain. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2. |
| Buffer over-read in Windows CD-ROM Driver allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. |
| Buffer over-read in DNS Server allows an authorized attacker to disclose information over a network. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
scsi: target: configfs: Bound snprintf() return in tg_pt_gp_members_show()
target_tg_pt_gp_members_show() formats LUN paths with snprintf() into a
256-byte stack buffer, then will memcpy() cur_len bytes from that
buffer. snprintf() returns the length the output would have had, which
can exceed the buffer size when the fabric WWN is long because iSCSI IQN
names can be up to 223 bytes. The check at the memcpy() site only
guards the destination page write, not the source read, so memcpy() will
read past the stack buffer and copy adjacent stack contents to the sysfs
reader, which when CONFIG_FORTIFY_SOURCE is enabled, fortify_panic()
will be triggered.
Commit 27e06650a5ea ("scsi: target: target_core_configfs: Add length
check to avoid buffer overflow") added the same bound to the
target_lu_gp_members_show() but the tg_pt_gp variant was missed so
resolve that here. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
slip: bound decode() reads against the compressed packet length
slhc_uncompress() parses a VJ-compressed TCP header by advancing a
pointer through the packet via decode() and pull16(). Neither helper
bounds-checks against isize, and decode() masks its return with
& 0xffff so it can never return the -1 that callers test for -- those
error paths are dead code.
A short compressed frame whose change byte requests optional fields
lets decode() read past the end of the packet. The over-read bytes
are folded into the cached cstate and reflected into subsequent
reconstructed packets.
Make decode() and pull16() take the packet end pointer and return -1
when exhausted. Add a bounds check before the TCP-checksum read.
The existing == -1 tests now do what they were always meant to. |
| An issue was discovered in GStreamer gst-plugins-good before 1.28.2. While parsing an MP4 file, the isomp4 plugin's qtdemux_parse_uuid function may read past the end of a heap-allocated buffer, allowing an attacker to disclose heap memory contents. |
| ExLlamaV3’s EXL3 loader uses an untrusted, model-supplied index to select a CUDA kernel without first verifying that the index is within bounds. A malicious model can force the code to read and invoke an out‑of‑range function pointer, resulting in a reproducible crash. Under specific conditions involving certain host memory layouts, it may be possible for an attacker to exploit this vulnerability to achieve controlled indirect kernel dispatch during model load. |

| The HDA audio device model did not check for zero-length Buffer Descriptor List (BDL) entries when starting a stream. A zero-length entry caused an out-of-bounds read or write during DMA transfer processing. BDL fields were also subject to modification by the guest after validation.
A malicious guest can crash the bhyve process or potentially execute arbitrary code in the host userspace context running the virtual machine, subject to bhyve's Capsicum sandbox. |
| Buffer over-read in Microsoft Office Word allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network. |
| A security vulnerability in HPE NonStop Kernel may allow user space access to privileged or unmapped data. |
| An issue was discovered in xmllint (from libxml2) before 2.11.8 and 2.12.x before 2.12.7. Formatting error messages with xmllint --htmlout can result in a buffer over-read in xmlHTMLPrintFileContext in xmllint.c. |
| In Modem, there is a possible out of bounds read due to a missing permission check. This could lead to remote denial of service, if a UE has connected to a rogue base station controlled by the attacker, with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: MOLY01774038; Issue ID: MSV-8911. |
