CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability was found in xxyopen/201206030 novel up to 3.5.0. Affected is the function getBookChapter of the file src/main/java/io/github/xxyopen/novel/service/impl/BookServiceImpl.java of the component Book Chapter Read Handler. Performing a manipulation of the argument chapterId results in authorization bypass. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The patch is named b8134e774820e0971fa9d8074405b49a01c99bdc. It is suggested to install a patch to address this issue. |
| The All In One Login WordPress plugin before 2.5.0 does not adequately restrict the number of attempts that can be made against the short numeric code used by its default-enabled passwordless email login, and does not feed those failed attempts into its own brute-force protection, allowing unauthenticated attackers to take over any account including administrators. |
| The Essential Real Estate WordPress plugin before 5.3.5 does not perform any authorization or publication-status check in one of its AJAX actions, allowing unauthenticated users to read the full contents of property listings that have not been published, together with the private name, email address, phone number and office address of the listing agent. |
| In Symfony http-foundation prior to versions 5.4.56, 6.4.50, 7.4.23, and 8.1.11, Symfony\Component\HttpFoundation\RequestMatcher, and RequestMatcher\MethodRequestMatcher which replaces it from 6.2.x on, matches a request against a list of HTTP methods. These compared the request method to the list verbatim, while the router serves a HEAD request with the GET handler, as HTTP semantics require.
This came after the incomplete fix of CVE-2026-45075 https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-6439-2f28-8p8q , which addressed the same gap in the #[IsGranted], #[IsSignatureValid] and #[IsCsrfTokenValid] attributes only.
Security rules configured to apply only to GET requests could therefore be bypassed by sending a HEAD request to the same URL. Although HEAD responses contain no body, attackers could still access response headers and trigger the controller's execution, including any side effects.
This issue also affects firewalls configured with methods: [GET]. A HEAD request would not match that firewall and could instead be handled by another matching firewall or no firewall at all. Applications using these vulnerable request matchers directly, including through a custom firewall request_matcher, could also be affected.
The issue affects symfony/http-foundation through v5.4.55, v6.x through 6.4.49, v7.x through v7.4.22, and v8.x through v8.1.10. |
| Insertion of sensitive information into log file vulnerability in Johnson Controls C-CURE 9000, Victor allows Use of Known Operating System Credentials.
This issue affects C-CURE 9000, Victor: 3.20. |
| The HTTP/2 server in subsys/net/lib/http/http_server_http2.c clears the connection's stream binding at the start of every frame. handle_http_frame_header() executed client->current_stream = NULL unconditionally, but a CONTINUATION frame does not open a new stream and enter_http_frame_continuation_state() never re-bound one, so the rest of the header block was processed with client->current_stream unset. Two paths then write through the NULL pointer. A request for an unregistered resource, or a method the matched resource does not support, is answered by send_http2_404() or send_http2_405(), and both call send_headers_frame(), which unconditionally sets client->current_stream->headers_sent = true. A POST, PUT or PATCH to a registered dynamic resource reaches handle_http2_dynamic_resource(), which unlike its siblings (handle_http2_static_resource(), dynamic_get_del_opts_req_v2(), dynamic_post_put_req_v2()) had no client->current_stream == NULL guard, and stores through the pointer with client->current_stream->current_detail = dynamic_detail.
Any peer that can reach the server can trigger this without authentication or prior state. A single stray CONTINUATION frame with END_HEADERS set, sent right after the client preface and requesting any unregistered path, is enough, because nothing rejected a CONTINUATION that no HEADERS frame had opened. A legitimate split header block (a HEADERS frame with END_HEADERS clear whose payload ends on a header-field boundary, then a CONTINUATION with END_HEADERS set) reaches the same state. The in-tree test test_http2_post_headers_with_continuation() did not catch this because it splits the header block mid field, which takes the handle_incomplete_http_header() shortcut that keeps the stream bound.
The result is a write to a fixed low address (a small offset into struct http2_stream_ctx), which faults on mainstream targets (flash/vector-table region on Cortex-M, or a trap under MPU/MMU null-pointer detection), and the default fatal-error handler halts the system. Impact is an unauthenticated, remotely triggerable denial of service against any device running the HTTP/2 server: the 404 path needs no particular resource to be registered, and HTTP/2 is built into CONFIG_HTTP_SERVER with cleartext h2c accepted, so TLS does not prevent it. Neither the target address nor the written value is attacker-controlled, so there is no confidentiality or integrity impact. Applications built without CONFIG_HTTP_SERVER are not affected. |

| HCL AION is affected by a vulnerability where the account lockout mechanism did not sufficiently restrict repeated failed login attempts, allowing an attacker to make a large number of password guesses against a user account. This may increase the risk of account compromise through brute-force attacks, potentially resulting in unintended behavior or security impact under certain conditions. |
| HCL AION is affected by a vulnerability where browser autocomplete was enabled on sensitive login form fields, allowing the browser to store and suggest previously entered values. A malicious user with access to the same browser or system could retrieve saved credentials, potentially resulting in unintended behavior or security impact under certain conditions. |
| HCL AION is affected by a vulnerability where certain application responses revealed internal server file system paths. This information could help an attacker understand the application structure and plan further attacks, potentially resulting in unintended behavior or security impact under certain conditions. |
