CVE-2024-6387 13 Almalinux, Amazon, Apple and 10 more 85 Almalinux, Amazon Linux, Macos and 82 more 2026-08-31 8.1 High
A security regression (CVE-2006-5051) was discovered in OpenSSH's server (sshd). There is a race condition which can lead sshd to handle some signals in an unsafe manner. An unauthenticated, remote attacker may be able to trigger it by failing to authenticate within a set time period.
CVE-2026-58616 1 Microsoft 1 Edge Chromium 2026-08-31 4.4 Medium
Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Copilot Chat (Microsoft Edge) allows an authorized attacker to disclose information over a network.
CVE-2026-58088 1 Freebsd 1 Freebsd 2026-08-31 7.4 High
The ELF core dump code counted the number of dumpable VM map entries, allocated a buffer for the corresponding program headers, then iterated over the map a second time to populate them. A process sharing the address space via rfork(2) can mutate the map between the two passes, causing the second pass to write program headers past the end of the buffer. An unprivileged local user sharing an address space with a process that dumps core can trigger an out-of-bounds write on the kernel heap, potentially leading to privilege escalation.
CVE-2026-79089 1 Google 2 Android, Chrome 2026-08-31 5.3 Medium
Race condition in Transactions Platform in Google Chrome on on Android prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to bypass system access restrictions via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low)
CVE-2026-79094 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-08-31 6.5 Medium
Race condition in Workers in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker to bypass system access restrictions via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
CVE-2026-79775 1 Rclone 1 Rclone 2026-08-29 6.5 Medium
rclone versions >= v1.72.0 and <= v1.74.4 (fixed in v1.75.0) contain multiple denial-of-service vulnerabilities in the archive backend's SquashFS parser, which relies on the github.com/diskfs/go-diskfs dependency. The parser fails to validate attacker-controlled superblock and metadata values before use. An attacker who can place or modify a SquashFS image in storage exposed through an rclone :archive: remote can craft a malicious image that triggers an integer division-by-zero panic (zero block size), an out-of-bounds slice panic (out-of-range inode metadata offset), or a non-progress CPU loop (truncated metadata stream). Variants 1 and 2 terminate the rclone process and, via 'rclone serve sftp', can crash the entire SFTP server; variant 3 causes sustained CPU consumption. Parsing is lazy, so a victim or remote client must address or descend into the malicious archive object to trigger it.
CVE-2026-80637 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-29 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: synproxy: fix unaligned memory access in timestamp adjustment Use get_unaligned_be32() and put_unaligned_be32() to safely read and write the timestamp fields. This prevents performance degradation due to unaligned memory access or even a crash on strict alignment architectures. This follows the implementation of timestamp parsing in the networking stack at tcp_parse_options() and synproxy_parse_options().
CVE-2026-80653 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-29 8.4 High

CVE-2026-80675 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-29 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libbpf: Reject non-exclusive metadata maps in the signed loader The loader verifies map->sha against the metadata hash in its instructions. map->sha is calculated when BPF_OBJ_GET_INFO_BY_FD is called on the frozen map. While the map is frozen, the /signed loader/ must also ensure the map is exclusive, as, without exclusivity (which a hostile host could just omit when loading the loader), another BPF program with map access can mutate the contents afterwards, so the check passes on stale data. With the extra check as part of the signed loader, it now refuses to move on with map->sha validation if the host set it up wrongly.
CVE-2026-80630 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-29 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: sch_fq_codel: Do not call qdisc_tree_reduce_backlog during peek before restoring qlen Whenever fq_codel drops packets during peek, it calls qdisc_tree_reduce_backlog. An issue arises because it calls qdisc_tree_reduce_backlog before it reincrements the qlen. If qlen drops to zero, but peek returns an skb, the parent's qlen_notify callback will be executed even though fq_codel still has 1 packet on the queue and, thus, will mistakenly deactivate the parent's class causing issues like a recent report [1] and a wild memory access in qfq: [ 29.371146][ T360] Oops: general protection fault, probably for non-canonical address 0xfbd59c0000000024: 0000 [#1] SMP KASAN NOPTI [ 29.371666][ T360] KASAN: maybe wild-memory-access in range [0xdead000000000120-0xdead000000000127] [ 29.371987][ T360] CPU: 6 UID: 0 PID: 360 Comm: tc Not tainted 7.1.0-rc5-00285-gc530e5b2dbc6-dirty #82 PREEMPT(full) [ 29.372384][ T360] Hardware name: Bochs Bochs, BIOS Bochs 01/01/2011 [ 29.372620][ T360] RIP: 0010:qfq_deactivate_agg (include/linux/list.h:1029 (discriminator 2) include/linux/list.h:1043 (discriminator 2) net/sched/sch_qfq.c:1369 (discriminator 2) net/sched/sch_qfq.c:1395 (discriminator 2)) sch_qfq [ 29.373544][ T360] RSP: 0018:ffff888102417370 EFLAGS: 00010216 [ 29.373800][ T360] RAX: 0000000000000000 RBX: ffff88811224d568 RCX: dffffc0000000000 [ 29.374079][ T360] RDX: 1ffff11021fe1543 RSI: ffff88810ff0aa00 RDI: dffffc0000000000 [ 29.374368][ T360] RBP: ffff88811224c280 R08: dead000000000122 R09: 1bd5a00000000024 [ 29.374649][ T360] R10: fffffbfff7940329 R11: fffffbfff7940329 R12: 0000000000000000 [ 29.374926][ T360] R13: dead000000000100 R14: ffff88811224d580 R15: ffff88811224d578 [ 29.375207][ T360] FS: 00007f5b794e5780(0000) GS:ffff88815d1e9000(0000) knlGS:0000000000000000 [ 29.375545][ T360] CS: 0010 DS: 0000 ES: 0000 CR0: 0000000080050033 [ 29.375823][ T360] CR2: 000055ffb091f000 CR3: 000000010a305000 CR4: 0000000000750ef0 [ 29.376103][ T360] PKRU: 55555554 [ 29.376258][ T360] Call Trace: [ 29.376401][ T360] <TASK> ... CVE-2026-80678 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-29 8.4 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: imx: Fix slave registration race and error handling In i2c_imx_reg_slave(), the slave pointer was assigned before pm_runtime_resume_and_get(). If pm_runtime_resume_and_get() failed, the error path returned without clearing i2c_imx->slave, leaving it non-NULL and causing all subsequent registration attempts to fail with -EBUSY. Additionally, because this driver uses a shared IRQ, the interrupt handler i2c_imx_isr() can execute concurrently and, after acquiring slave_lock, dereference i2c_imx->slave. The previous fix attempt added a lockless i2c_imx->slave = NULL on the error path, but that could race with the ISR under the lock and still cause a NULL pointer dereference. Fix both issues by deferring the assignment of i2c_imx->slave and i2c_imx->last_slave_event to after a successful resume, and by performing the assignment inside the slave_lock critical section. This guarantees that the slave pointer is never left stale on the error path and is always valid when observed by the interrupt handler.
CVE-2026-71832 1 Aria 1 Aria 2026-08-29 6.2 Medium
Aria2 version 1.37.0 and below is affected by a Divide By Zero issue in src/bittorrent_helper.cc, which allows a remote malicious user to cause a Denial of Service

CVE-2026-75466 1 Libjpeg-turbo 1 Libjpeg-turbo 2026-08-28 6.5 Medium
libjpeg-turbo 3.2.0 contains an integer division-by-zero vulnerability in the PNG loader. When processing a valid indexed-color PNG image with a non-gray palette through tj3LoadImage12() or tj3LoadImage16() using the default pixel format, the application may trigger a division-by-zero in alloc_sarray(), causing a SIGFPE and denial of service.

CVE-2026-80525 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-28 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: SOF: ipc4-topology: Refresh copier IPC payload before widget setup The ipc_config_data buffer for copier widgets is built once during ipc_prepare (called from sof_pcm_setup_connected_widgets) and cached for reuse. For host copiers this buffer contains the copier_data with gtw_cfg.node_id (host DMA ID). For DAI copiers it additionally includes a dma_config_tlv trailer with stream_id and dma_channel_id for HDA link DMA. On suspend/resume, both host and link DMA streams are released and re-allocated with potentially different stream tags. The underlying copier_data and dma_config_tlv structures are correctly updated by host_config and sdw_hda_dai_hw_params respectively. However, since the widget list (spcm->stream[].list) persists across suspend, sof_pcm_hw_params skips sof_pcm_setup_connected_widgets and ipc_prepare never runs again to rebuild ipc_config_data. The stale cached payload is then sent to firmware with boot-time DMA channel assignments, causing DMA channel conflicts that lead to firmware errors and crashes. Fix this by refreshing copier_data and dma_config_tlv portions of ipc_config_data in sof_ipc4_widget_setup right before the IPC message is sent. This ensures the payload always reflects the current DMA state regardless of whether ipc_prepare ran. For DAI copiers, the gtw_cfg.config_length in copier_data is temporarily inflated to include the TLV size (matching the ipc_config_data layout) before copying, then restored, mirroring what sof_ipc4_prepare_copier_module does when first building the buffer.
