CVSS v3.1 |
| Divide By Zero vulnerability in davisking dlib allows
remote attackers to cause a denial of service via a crafted file.
.This issue affects dlib: before <19.24.7. |
A race condition in the Nix, Lix, and Guix package managers allows the removal of content from arbitrary folders. This affects Nix before 2.24.15, 2.26.4, 2.28.4, and 2.29.1; Lix before 2.91.2, 2.92.2, and 2.93.1; and Guix before 1.4.0-38.0e79d5b.
For a short time they PTY is set to mode 666, allowing any user on the system to connect to the screen session.
Race condition during resource shutdown in some Solidigm DC Products may allow an attacker to potentially enable denial of service.
Improper resource shutdown in middle of certain operations on some Solidigm DC Products may allow an attacker to potentially enable denial of service.
The AVGUI.exe of AVG/Avast Antivirus before versions before 24.1 can allow a local attacker to escalate privileges via an COM hijack in a time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) when self protection is disabled.
Race condition in some Intel(R) System Security Report and System Resources Defense firmware may allow a privileged user to potentially enable information disclosure via local access.
Race condition in some Intel(R) System Security Report and System Resources Defense firmware may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
libarchiveplugin.cpp in KDE ark before 24.12.0 can extract to an absolute path from an archive.
Screen version 5.0.0 and older version 4 releases have a TOCTOU race potentially allowing to send SIGHUP, SIGCONT to privileged processes when installed setuid-root.
A race condition leading to a stack use-after-free flaw was found in libvirt. Due to a bad assumption in the virNetClientIOEventLoop() method, the `data` pointer to a stack-allocated virNetClientIOEventData structure ended up being used in the virNetClientIOEventFD callback while the data pointer's stack frame was concurrently being "freed" when returning from virNetClientIOEventLoop(). The 'virtproxyd' daemon can be used to trigger requests. If libvirt is configured with fine-grained access control, this issue, in theory, allows a user to escape their otherwise limited access. This flaw allows a local, unprivileged user to access virtproxyd without authenticating. Remote users would need to authenticate before they could access it.
Velocidex WinPmem versions 4.1 and below suffer from an Improper Input Validation vulnerability whereby an attacker with admin access can trigger a BSOD with a parallel thread changing the memory’s access right under the control of the user-mode application. This is due to verification only being performed at the beginning of the routine allowing the userspace to change page permissions half way through the routine. A valid workaround is a rule to detect unauthorized loading of winpmem outside incident response operations.
Software installed and run as a non-privileged user may conduct GPU system calls to read and write freed physical memory from the GPU.
Time-of-check time-of-use race condition in some Intel(R) Neural Compressor software before version v3.0 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable information disclosure via adjacent access.
OsamaTaher/Java-springboot-codebase is a collection of Java and Spring Boot code snippets, applications, and projects. Prior to commit c835c6f7799eacada4c0fc77e0816f250af01ad2, insufficient path traversal mechanisms make absolute path traversal possible. This vulnerability allows unauthorized access to sensitive internal files. Commit c835c6f7799eacada4c0fc77e0816f250af01ad2 contains a patch for the issue.
Time-of-check time-of-use race condition for some ACAT before version 3.13 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow a denial of service. Unprivileged software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a high complexity attack may enable denial of service. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are not present without special internal knowledge and requires active user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts.
Time-of-check time-of-use race condition for some Intel Ethernet Adapter Complete Driver Pack software before version 1.5.1.0 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow a denial of service. Unprivileged software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a low complexity attack may enable denial of service. This result may potentially occur via adjacent access when attack requirements are not present without special internal knowledge and requires active user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts.
A Time-of-check time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition in the SMM communications buffer could allow a privileged attacker to bypass input validation and perform an out of bounds read or write, potentially resulting in loss of confidentiality, integrity, or availability.
WordOps through 3.20.0 has a wo/cli/plugins/stack_pref.py TOCTOU race condition because the conf_path os.open does not use a mode parameter during file creation.
Abacus ERP is versions older than 2024.210.16036, 2023.205.15833, 2022.105.15542 are affected by an authenticated arbitrary file read vulnerability.
