CVSS v3.1 |
| Himmelblau is an interoperability suite for Microsoft Azure Entra ID and Intune. From versions 2.0.0-alpha to before 2.3.9 and 3.0.0-alpha to before 3.1.1, there is a conditional local privilege escalation vulnerability in an edge-case naming collision. Only authenticated himmelblau users whose mapped CN/short name exactly matches a privileged local group name (e.g., "sudo", "wheel", "docker", "adm") can cause the NSS module to resolve that group name to their fake primary group. If the system uses NSS results for group-based authorization decisions (sudo, polkit, etc.), this can grant the attacker the privileges of that group. This issue has been patched in versions 2.3.9 and 3.1.1. |
| The Datalogics Ecommerce Delivery WordPress plugin before 2.6.60 exposes an unauthenticated REST endpoint that allows any remote user to modify the option `datalogics_token` without verification. This token is subsequently used for authentication in a protected endpoint that allows users to perform arbitrary WordPress `update_option()` operations. Attackers can use this to enable registartion and to set the default role as Administrator. |
| An issue in the component IOMap64.sys of ASUSTeK Computer Inc ASUS GPU TweakII v1.4.5.2 allows attackers to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code via sending crafted IOCTL requests. |
| A vulnerability in the Secure Copy Protocol (SCP) and SFTP feature of Cisco IOS XR Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker to create or overwrite files in a system directory, which could lead to a denial of service (DoS) condition. The attacker would require valid user credentials to perform this attack.
This vulnerability is due to a lack of proper validation of SCP and SFTP CLI input parameters. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by authenticating to the device and issuing SCP or SFTP CLI commands with specific parameters. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to impact the functionality of the device, which could lead to a DoS condition. The device may need to be manually rebooted to recover.
Note: This vulnerability is exploitable only when a local user invokes SCP or SFTP commands at the Cisco IOS XR CLI. A local user with administrative privileges could exploit this vulnerability remotely. |
| The Spectra Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.5. This is due to the plugin allowing lower-privileged users to create registration forms and set the default role to administrator This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to create administrator-level accounts. |
| The mobile application (com.transsion.videocallenhancer) interface has improper permission control, which can lead to the risk of private file leakage. |
| Kloxo versions 6.1.12 and earlier contain two setuid root binaries—lxsuexec and lxrestart—that allow local privilege escalation from uid 48. The lxsuexec binary performs a uid check and permits execution of arbitrary commands as root if the invoking user matches uid 48. This flaw enables attackers with Apache-level access to escalate privileges to root without authentication. |
| Potential vulnerabilities have been identified in the HP Display Control software component within the HP Application Enabling Software Driver which might allow escalation of privilege. |
| Delinea Privilege Manager before 12.0.2 mishandles the security of the Windows agent. |
| An issue in AdGuardHome v0.93 to latest allows unprivileged attackers to escalate privileges via overwriting the AdGuardHome binary. |
| An issue in the BdApiUtil driver of Baidu Antivirus v5.2.3.116083 allows attackers to terminate arbitrary process via executing a BYOVD (Bring Your Own Vulnerable Driver) attack. |
| Harden-Runner is a CI/CD security agent that works like an EDR for GitHub Actions runners. Versions from 0.12.0 to before 2.12.0 are vulnerable to `disable-sudo` bypass. Harden-Runner includes a policy option `disable-sudo` to prevent the GitHub Actions runner user from using sudo. This is implemented by removing the runner user from the sudoers file. However, this control can be bypassed as the runner user, being part of the docker group, can interact with the Docker daemon to launch privileged containers or access the host filesystem. This allows the attacker to regain root access or restore the sudoers file, effectively bypassing the restriction. This issue has been patched in version 2.12.0. |
| Ceph is a distributed object, block, and file storage platform. In versions 17.2.7, 18.2.1 through 18.2.4, and 19.0.0 through 19.2.2, an unprivileged user can escalate to root privileges in a ceph-fuse mounted CephFS by chmod 777 a directory owned by root to gain access. The result of this is that a user could read, write and execute to any directory owned by root as long as they chmod 777 it. This impacts confidentiality, integrity, and availability. It is patched in versions 17.2.8, 18.2.5, and 19.2.3. |
| A privilege escalation vulnerability in PocketBook InkPad Color 3 allows attackers to escalate to root privileges if they gain physical access to the device.
This issue affects InkPad Color 3 in version U743k3.6.8.3671. |
| A Sudo privilege misconfiguration vulnerability in PocketBook InkPad Color 3 on Linux, ARM allows attackers to read file contents on the device. This issue affects InkPad Color 3: U743k3.6.8.3671. |
| A vulnerability has been identified within Rancher where a cluster or node driver can be used to escape the chroot
jail and gain root access to the Rancher container itself. In
production environments, further privilege escalation is possible based
on living off the land within the Rancher container itself. For the test
and development environments, based on a –privileged Docker container,
it is possible to escape the Docker container and gain execution access
on the host system.
This issue affects rancher: from 2.7.0 before 2.7.16, from 2.8.0 before 2.8.9, from 2.9.0 before 2.9.3. |
| K7RKScan.sys 23.0.0.10, part of the K7 Security Anti-Malware suite, allows an admin-privileged user to send crafted IOCTL requests to terminate processes that are protected through a third-party implementation. This is caused by insufficient caller validation in the driver's IOCTL handler, enabling unauthorized processes to perform those actions in kernel space. Successful exploitation can lead to denial of service by disrupting critical third-party services or applications. |
| An issue in BambooHR Build v.25.0210.170831-83b08dd allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges via the /saml/index.php?r=" HTTP GET parameter. |
| A non-primary administrator user with admin rights to the web interface but without shell access permissions can display configuration of the device including the master admin password. This vulnerability also allows the user to give themselves shell access with the root gid. |
| Certain software builds for the TCL 20XE Android device contain a vulnerable, pre-installed app with a package name of com.tct.gcs.hiddenmenuproxy (versionCode='2', versionName='v11.0.1.0.0201.0') that allows local third-party apps to programmatically perform a factory reset due to inadequate access control. No permissions or special privileges are necessary to exploit the vulnerability in the com.tct.gcs.hiddenmenuproxy app. No user interaction is required beyond installing and running a third-party app. The software build fingerprints for each confirmed vulnerable build are as follows: TCL/5087Z_BO/Doha_TMO:11/RP1A.200720.011/PB7I-0:user/release-keys and TCL/5087Z_BO/Doha_TMO:11/RP1A.200720.011/PB83-0:user/release-keys. This malicious app sends a broadcast intent to the exported com.tct.gcs.hiddenmenuproxy/.rtn.FactoryResetReceiver receiver component, which initiates a programmatic factory reset. |
