CVSS v3.1 |
Heap-based buffer overflow in the __nss_hostname_digits_dots function in glibc 2.2, and other 2.x versions before 2.18, allows context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary code via vectors related to the (1) gethostbyname or (2) gethostbyname2 function, aka "GHOST."
IBM Rational Collaborative Lifecycle Management 3.0.1.6 before iFix8, 4.0 before 4.0.7 iFix11, 5.0 before 5.0.2 iFix18, and 6.0 before 6.0.2 iFix5; Rational Quality Manager 3.0.1.6 before iFix8, 4.0 before 4.0.7 iFix11, 5.0 before 5.0.2 iFix18, and 6.0 before 6.0.2 iFix5; Rational Team Concert 3.0.1.6 before iFix8, 4.0 before 4.0.7 iFix11, 5.0 before 5.0.2 iFix18, and 6.0 before 6.0.2 iFix5; Rational DOORS Next Generation 4.0 before 4.0.7 iFix11, 5.0 before 5.0.2 iFix18, and 6.0 before 6.0.2 iFix5; Rational Engineering Lifecycle Manager 4.x before 4.0.7 iFix11, 5.0 before 5.0.2 iFix18, and 6.0 before 6.0.2 iFix5; Rational Rhapsody Design Manager 4.0 before 4.0.7 iFix11, 5.0 before 5.0.2 iFix18, and 6.0 before 6.0.2 iFix5; and Rational Software Architect Design Manager 4.0 before 4.0.7 iFix11, 5.0 before 5.0.2 iFix18, and 6.0 before 6.0.2 iFix5 allow remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary OS commands via a crafted request.
A buffer overflow in OpenJPEG 2.1.1 causes arbitrary code execution when parsing a crafted image. An exploitable code execution vulnerability exists in the jpeg2000 image file format parser as implemented in the OpenJpeg library. A specially crafted jpeg2000 file can cause an out of bound heap write resulting in heap corruption leading to arbitrary code execution. For a successful attack, the target user needs to open a malicious jpeg2000 file. The jpeg2000 image file format is mostly used for embedding images inside PDF documents and the OpenJpeg library is used by a number of popular PDF renderers making PDF documents a likely attack vector.
Ruckus Wireless H500 web management interface authenticated command injection
Unspecified vulnerability in Oracle Java SE 6u95, 7u80, and 8u45 allows remote attackers to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability via unknown vectors related to 2D.
The cpio_safer_name_suffix function in util.c in cpio 2.11 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds write) via a crafted cpio file.
Heap-based buffer overflow in Pro-face GP-Pro EX EX-ED before 4.05.000, PFXEXEDV before 4.05.000, PFXEXEDLS before 4.05.000, and PFXEXGRPLS before 4.05.000 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via unspecified vectors.
An issue was discovered in the Tatsuya Kinoshita w3m fork before 0.5.3-31. Heap-based buffer overflow in the addMultirowsForm function in w3m allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted HTML page.
tools/tiff2pdf.c in libtiff 4.0.6 has out-of-bounds write vulnerabilities in heap allocated buffers in t2p_process_jpeg_strip(). Reported as MSVR 35098, aka "t2p_process_jpeg_strip heap-buffer-overflow."
Stack-based buffer overflow in the clntudp_call function in sunrpc/clnt_udp.c in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) allows remote servers to cause a denial of service (crash) or possibly unspecified other impact via a flood of crafted ICMP and UDP packets.
Fortinet FortiWan (formerly AscernLink) before 4.2.5 allows remote authenticated users with access to the nslookup functionality to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges via the graph parameter to diagnosis_control.php.
The BN_bn2dec function in crypto/bn/bn_print.c in OpenSSL before 1.1.0 does not properly validate division results, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds write and application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via unknown vectors.
GNU Bash through 4.3 bash43-026 does not properly parse function definitions in the values of environment variables, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (uninitialized memory access, and untrusted-pointer read and write operations) via a crafted environment, as demonstrated by vectors involving the ForceCommand feature in OpenSSH sshd, the mod_cgi and mod_cgid modules in the Apache HTTP Server, scripts executed by unspecified DHCP clients, and other situations in which setting the environment occurs across a privilege boundary from Bash execution. NOTE: this vulnerability exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2014-6271 and CVE-2014-7169.
drivers/firewire/net.c in the Linux kernel before 4.8.7, in certain unusual hardware configurations, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted fragmented packets.
Cisco WebEx Meetings Server 2.6 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands by injecting these commands into an application script, aka Bug ID CSCuy83130.
The KDE Clock KCM policykit helper in kde-workspace before 4.11.14 and plasma-desktop before 5.1.1 allows local users to gain privileges via a crafted ntpUtility (ntp utility name) argument.
Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) Platform Emulator 2.5(2)TS4, 3.0(2c)A, and 3.0(2c)TS9 allows local users to gain privileges via crafted arguments on a ucspe-copy command line, aka Bug ID CSCux68832.
