CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Make post-verification instruction rewrites killable
After do_check() returns, the verifier runs several instruction rewrite
passes. Some of them patch or remove one instruction at a time. Each
operation moves the remaining instruction and auxiliary-data arrays and
adjusts all branch offsets, making the overall work quadratic in the
program length.
A privileged loader can submit 131072 unconditional jumps by zero followed
by a valid return. Verification finishes quickly, but bpf_opt_remove_nops()
then spends a long time removing each jump separately. Since this
post-verification work neither checks for signals nor reschedules, a pending
SIGKILL cannot terminate the task until the rewrite finishes.
Make bpf_patch_insn_data() and verifier_remove_insns() common cancellation
and rescheduling points. These helpers run from BPF_PROG_LOAD process
context, and bpf_patch_insn_data() can already sleep while reallocating
auxiliary data.
Report interrupted constant blinding as -EINTR and propagate it through
both JIT paths, including kernels that permit interpreter fallback.
Other blinding failures retain the existing fallback behavior.
This does not reduce the quadratic cost of the rewrite passes, but it makes
the work preemptible and allows a killed loader to be torn down promptly. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: arm64: Validate the SVE vector length in pkvm_vcpu_init_sve()
pkvm_vcpu_init_sve() clamps only the upper bound of the host-provided
sve_max_vl, so an invalid vector length reaches sve_state_size_from_vl()
and the WARN_ON() there, which is fatal at EL2. The existing
!sve_state_size test rejects such a length, but only after the macro has
run.
Check sve_vl_valid() before deriving the state size. A valid length
cannot yield a zero size, so the !sve_state_size test goes with it. |
| F´ (F Prime) is a framework that enables development and deployment of spaceflight and other embedded software applications. Prior to 4.2.0, Svc::Ccsds::SpacePacketDeframer dataIn_handler is vulnerable because the handler treats the minimum packet-length condition as FW_ASSERT rather than rejecting and returning the buffer. When a CCSDS telecommand frame leaves a payload of six bytes or fewer after TcDeframer removes its header and trailer, the assertion aborts or resets the flight-software process, causing denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.0. |
| A Reachable Assertion vulnerability in the
l2ald
daemon of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved devices configured for MC-LAG/ICCP allows an adjacent attacker to cause a denial of service via an inconsistent ICCP peer message. |
| A Reachable Assertion vulnerability in the srxpfe process of Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series allows an adjacent network attacker to cause a denial of service of the data plane via malformed firewall-authentication synchronization traffic on chassis-cluster fabric interfaces. |
| Gitea's OpenID connect handler accepts a user's password without enforcing enrolled TOTP or WebAuthn verification before completing sign-in and linking an OpenID identifier. When OpenID sign-in is enabled, an attacker who knows the victim's password can obtain a session and link an attacker-controlled identifier. The attacker can then sign in through that identifier without the victim's password or second factor, and a password change does not remove the link. |
| UNSUPPORTED WHEN ASSIGNED Improper restriction of XML external entity references in Apache Abdera allows an attacker to access sensitive data or make server-side requests when an application parses attacker-controlled XML with Abdera.
This issue affects Apache Abdera: all versions.
Apache Abdera is retired and no longer supported, so we do not plan to release a version that fixes this issue. Users are recommended to migrate to a maintained alternative. Applications that cannot migrate should ensure that untrusted XML cannot reach the affected Abdera parser or JDBC adapter parsing paths. Actively maintained downstream products may still be impacted if they include an affected Abdera artifact.
NOTE: This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| libssh2 1.11.1, fixed in commit 97acf3d, contains an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in ssh2_transport_read() that fails to enforce upper bounds on packet_length field. Remote attackers can send crafted SSH packets with excessively large packet_length values to corrupt heap memory and achieve remote code execution. |
| IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.5 and 9.0, and IBM WebSphere Application Server - Liberty 17.0.0.3 through 26.0.0.8 could allow a remote attacker to conduct phishing attacks, using an open redirect attack. By persuading a victim to visit a specially crafted Web site, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to spoof the URL displayed to redirect a user to a malicious Web site that would appear to be trusted. This could allow the attacker to obtain highly sensitive information or conduct further attacks against the victim. |
| URL Redirection to Untrusted Site ('Open Redirect') vulnerability in Drupal Central Authentication System (CAS) Server allows Fake the Source of Data. This issue affects Central Authentication System (CAS) Server versions: from 0.0.0 to 2.0.4, from 2.1.0 to 2.1.3. |
| Trigger.dev before 4.5.6 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in createDeploymentBackgroundWorkerV4 that resolves a WorkerDeployment by friendlyId alone, without environment, project, or organization scoping. Attackers holding only their own environment API key can POST to the deployment background-workers endpoint with a victim's deployment ID to re-point that in-progress deployment at a worker in the attacker's environment. |
| Vulnerability in the MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster product of Oracle MySQL (component: Server: Security: Encryption). Supported versions that are affected are MySQL Server: 26.7.0-26.7.1; MySQL Cluster: 26.7.0-26.7.1. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 4.9 (Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H). |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to 7.1.2-32, delegate symlink cleanup does not check the MAGICK_SHRED_PASSES environment variable, allowing a local privileged workflow to overwrite a file with random data. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.2-32. |
| URL Redirection to Untrusted Site ('Open Redirect') vulnerability in Drupal SAML SSO - Service Provider allows Fake the Source of Data. This issue affects SAML SSO - Service Provider versions: from 0.0.0 to 3.2.0. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
sctp: fix soft lockup from unpadded ASCONF-ACK parameter iteration
sctp_verify_asconf() walks ASCONF-ACK parameters with
sctp_walk_params(), which advances by SCTP_PAD4(length), while the
consumer sctp_get_asconf_response() iterates the same parameters
advancing by the raw length, without padding. A single odd-length
parameter desynchronises the two walks and makes the consumer
interpret attacker-controlled bytes at a misaligned offset.
When those bytes yield a length of zero, the while loop over
asconf_ack_len makes no progress, spinning forever in softirq
context, and the watchdog reports a soft lockup. All reads stay
within the received skb, so the lockup is a pure remote denial of
service. A remote peer can trigger it with a crafted ASCONF-ACK on
an ADD-IP enabled association with an outstanding ASCONF (RFC 5061
section 4.1.2 requires the chunk to be authenticated, but the
predefined empty key id 0 allows the peer to compute the same
association HMAC from publicly exchanged parameters, so the gate
does not help).
The SCTP_PARAM_ERR_CAUSE case of sctp_verify_asconf() also performs
no length check, letting a parameter without a complete error
header reach the consumer, which reads errhdr.cause past the end of
the parameter, an out-of-bounds read.
Reject SCTP_PARAM_ERR_CAUSE parameters shorter than
sizeof(struct sctp_addip_param) + sizeof(struct sctp_errhdr) at the
verifier, and advance the consumer iterator with the same padding
rule as the verifier to keep the two walks in lockstep. The verifier
change guarantees a complete error header in every ERR_CAUSE
parameter the consumer can see, so the consumer's asconf_ack_len
check is dropped and it returns err_param->cause directly. The
consumer padding fix is still required because odd lengths remain
valid for SCTP_PARAM_ERR_CAUSE per RFC 5061.
The issue was found by ZeroHive, a vulnerability hunting agent at
Tencent Yunding Lab. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb/client: invalidate fscache for fallocate range operations
smb3_zero_range(), smb3_punch_hole(), smb3_insert_range(), and
smb3_collapse_range() modify file contents through server-side range
operations. These operations discard the affected page cache, but leave
the FS-Cache cookie valid, so a later read may return data cached before
the range operation.
Fix this by invalidating FS-Cache after outstanding I/O has completed
and before modifying the file on the server.
Run the following as root on a CIFS mount with fsc enabled and an active
CacheFiles backend:
bash -c '
MNT=/mnt/cifs
FILE="$MNT/repro"
# Generate four 1 MiB random blocks: [A][B][C][D].
dd if=/dev/urandom of=/tmp/src bs=1M count=4 status=none
# Expected contents after zeroing B: [A][zero][C][D].
cp /tmp/src /tmp/expected
dd if=/dev/zero of=/tmp/expected bs=1M seek=1 count=1 \
conv=notrunc status=none
cp /tmp/src "$FILE"
# Populate FS-Cache, then discard the page cache.
sync
echo 1 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches
cat "$FILE" > /dev/null
sync
echo 1 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches
fallocate --zero-range -o 1M -l 1M "$FILE"
if cmp -s /tmp/expected "$FILE"; then
echo "readback: OK"
else
echo "readback: STALE DATA"
fi
'
Before this change, the readback differs from /tmp/expected:
readback: STALE DATA
After this change, it matches:
readback: OK |
| As part of Cisco's ongoing commitment to proactive security and product quality, the Cisco owned Open Source Snort 3 Software engineering team has conducted a comprehensive internal security review. This review resulted in software hardening releases that address multiple internally discovered vulnerabilities.
The vulnerabilities tracked by CVE-2026-20236 are related to issues concerning incorrect calculation that are grouped under the Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE) Base CWE-682. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb/client: fix stale page cache in insert/collapse range
smb3_insert_range() and smb3_collapse_range() use
truncate_pagecache_range() to invalidate the affected page cache.
However, if off or old_eof is not page-aligned, the boundary pages are
only partially zeroed and remain uptodate. As a result, the client may
return stale data after a successful insert/collapse range operation.
For example, with 4K pages:
page 0 page 1 page 2
0------4K 4K------8K 8K------12K
^ ^
off=2K old_eof=10K
Page 1 is removed from the page cache, while the boundary pages are
only partially zeroed. After COPYCHUNK moves the data on the server,
these cached pages may still return stale data.
This can be reproduced on a CIFS mount:
bash -c '
FILE=/mnt/scratch/repro
# Use a 6 KiB file so EOF is not page-aligned.
dd if=/dev/urandom of=/tmp/src bs=1K count=6 status=none
# Expected: a 4 KiB hole followed by the original data.
rm -f /tmp/expected
truncate -s 4K /tmp/expected
cat /tmp/src >> /tmp/expected
cp /tmp/src "$FILE"
# Prime the page cache before moving data on the server.
cat "$FILE" > /dev/null
fallocate --insert-range -o 0 -l 4K "$FILE"
if cmp -s /tmp/expected "$FILE"; then
echo "readback: OK"
else
echo "readback: STALE DATA"
fi
'
Fix this by writing back dirty data and discarding the page cache from
the start of the page containing off to EOF before moving data on the
server. |
| Trigger.dev before 4.5.6 self-hosted Docker Compose deployments using the default secrets from hosting/docker/.env.example allow authentication bypass because the hardcoded MAGIC_LINK_SECRET lets anyone forge valid magic link tokens. Unauthenticated attackers can log in as any email address, then reach Postgres, Redis, and ClickHouse with default credentials from runner containers on infrastructure networks, compromising all tenant data. |
