In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/hyperv: Disable IBT when hypercall page lacks ENDBR instruction On hardware that supports Indirect Branch Tracking (IBT), Hyper-V VMs with ConfigVersion 9.3 or later support IBT in the guest. However, current versions of Hyper-V have a bug in that there's not an ENDBR64 instruction at the beginning of the hypercall page. Since hypercalls are made with an indirect call to the hypercall page, all hypercall attempts fail with an exception and Linux panics. A Hyper-V fix is in progress to add ENDBR64. But guard against the Linux panic by clearing X86_FEATURE_IBT if the hypercall page doesn't start with ENDBR. The VM will boot and run without IBT. If future Linux 32-bit kernels were to support IBT, additional hypercall page hackery would be needed to make IBT work for such kernels in a Hyper-V VM.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix stackmap overflow check in __bpf_get_stackid() Syzkaller reported a KASAN slab-out-of-bounds write in __bpf_get_stackid() when copying stack trace data. The issue occurs when the perf trace contains more stack entries than the stack map bucket can hold, leading to an out-of-bounds write in the bucket's data array.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: usb-audio: Fix NULL pointer deference in try_to_register_card In try_to_register_card(), the return value of usb_ifnum_to_if() is passed directly to usb_interface_claimed() without a NULL check, which will lead to a NULL pointer dereference when creating an invalid USB audio device. Fix this by adding a check to ensure the interface pointer is valid before passing it to usb_interface_claimed().

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: do not assert we found block group item when creating free space tree Currently, when building a free space tree at populate_free_space_tree(), if we are not using the block group tree feature, we always expect to find block group items (either extent items or a block group item with key type BTRFS_BLOCK_GROUP_ITEM_KEY) when we search the extent tree with btrfs_search_slot_for_read(), so we assert that we found an item. However this expectation is wrong since we can have a new block group created in the current transaction which is still empty and for which we still have not added the block group's item to the extent tree, in which case we do not have any items in the extent tree associated to the block group. The insertion of a new block group's block group item in the extent tree happens at btrfs_create_pending_block_groups() when it calls the helper insert_block_group_item(). This typically is done when a transaction handle is released, committed or when running delayed refs (either as part of a transaction commit or when serving tickets for space reservation if we are low on free space). So remove the assertion at populate_free_space_tree() even when the block group tree feature is not enabled and update the comment to mention this case. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI/pwrctrl: Fix double cleanup on devm_add_action_or_reset() failure When devm_add_action_or_reset() fails, it calls the passed cleanup function. Hence the caller must not repeat that cleanup. Replace the "goto err_regulator_free" by the actual freeing, as there will never be a need again for a second user of this label.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: idpf: cleanup remaining SKBs in PTP flows When the driver requests Tx timestamp value, one of the first steps is to clone SKB using skb_get. It increases the reference counter for that SKB to prevent unexpected freeing by another component. However, there may be a case where the index is requested, SKB is assigned and never consumed by PTP flows - for example due to reset during running PTP apps. Add a check in release timestamping function to verify if the SKB assigned to Tx timestamp latch was freed, and release remaining SKBs.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/qaic: Fix bootlog initialization ordering As soon as we queue MHI buffers to receive the bootlog from the device, we could be receiving data. Therefore all the resources needed to process that data need to be setup prior to queuing the buffers. We currently initialize some of the resources after queuing the buffers which creates a race between the probe() and any data that comes back from the device. If the uninitialized resources are accessed, we could see page faults. Fix the init ordering to close the race.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwrng: geode - Fix PCI device refcount leak for_each_pci_dev() is implemented by pci_get_device(). The comment of pci_get_device() says that it will increase the reference count for the returned pci_dev and also decrease the reference count for the input pci_dev @from if it is not NULL. If we break for_each_pci_dev() loop with pdev not NULL, we need to call pci_dev_put() to decrease the reference count. We add a new struct 'amd_geode_priv' to record pointer of the pci_dev and membase, and then add missing pci_dev_put() for the normal and error path.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/habanalabs: support mapping cb with vmalloc-backed coherent memory When IOMMU is enabled, dma_alloc_coherent() with GFP_USER may return addresses from the vmalloc range. If such an address is mapped without VM_MIXEDMAP, vm_insert_page() will trigger a BUG_ON due to the VM_PFNMAP restriction. Fix this by checking for vmalloc addresses and setting VM_MIXEDMAP in the VMA before mapping. This ensures safe mapping and avoids kernel crashes. The memory is still driver-allocated and cannot be accessed directly by userspace.

Adds ufx_ops_destroy() function to .fb_destroy of fb_ops, and in this function, there is kref_put() that finally calls ufx_free(). This fix prevents multiple UAFs.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: auxdisplay: hd44780: Fix potential memory leak in hd44780_remove() hd44780_probe() allocates a memory chunk for hd with kzalloc() and makes "lcd->drvdata->hd44780" point to it. When we call hd44780_remove(), we should release all relevant memory and resource. But "lcd->drvdata ->hd44780" is not released, which will lead to a memory leak. We should release the "lcd->drvdata->hd44780" in hd44780_remove() to fix the memory leak bug.
