CVSS v3.1 |
| The make_password function in ipsclass.php in Invision Power Board (IPB) 2.1.4 uses random data generated from partially predictable seeds to create the authentication code that is sent by e-mail to a user with a lost password, which might make it easier for remote attackers to guess the code and change the password for an IPB account, possibly involving millions of requests. |
| SSH protocol 2 (aka SSH-2) public key authentication in the development snapshot of OpenSSH 2.3.1, available from 2001-01-18 through 2001-02-08, does not perform a challenge-response step to ensure that the client has the proper private key, which allows remote attackers to bypass authentication as other users by supplying a public key from that user's authorized_keys file. |
| An authorization issue was addressed with improved state management. This issue is fixed in iOS 18.7.5 and iPadOS 18.7.5, iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3. An attacker with physical access to a locked device may be able to view sensitive user information. |
| Rack::Session is a session management implementation for Rack. From 2.0.0 to before 2.1.2, Rack::Session::Cookie incorrectly handles decryption failures when configured with secrets:. If cookie decryption fails, the implementation falls back to a default decoder instead of rejecting the cookie. This allows an unauthenticated attacker to supply a crafted session cookie that is accepted as valid session data without knowledge of any configured secret. Because this mechanism is used to load session state, an attacker can manipulate session contents and potentially gain unauthorized access. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.2. |
| The MetForm – Contact Form, Survey, Quiz, & Custom Form Builder for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in versions up to, and including, 4.1.0. This is due to the use of a forgeable cookie value derived only from the entry ID and current user ID without a server-side secret. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to access form submission entry data via MetForm shortcodes for entries created within the transient TTL (default is 15 minutes). |
| OAuthenticator is software that allows OAuth2 identity providers to be plugged in and used with JupyterHub. Prior to version 17.4.0, an authentication bypass vulnerability in oauthenticator allows an attacker with an unverified email address on an Auth0 tenant to login to JupyterHub. When email is used as the usrname_claim, this gives users control over their username and the possibility of account takeover. This issue has been patched in version 17.4.0. |
| The Japanized for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Improper Authentication in versions up to, and including, 2.8.4. This is due to a flawed permission check in the `paidy_webhook_permission_check` function that unconditionally returns `true` when the webhook signature header is omitted. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to bypass payment verification and fraudulently mark orders as "Processing" or "Completed" without actual payment via a crafted POST request to the Paidy webhook endpoint. |
| Improper authentication in Windows Storage allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Improper authentication in Windows Admin Center allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. |
| PolarLearn is a free and open-source learning program. In 0-PRERELEASE-15 and earlier, POST /api/v1/auth/sign-in creates a valid session for banned accounts before verifying the supplied password. That session is then accepted across authenticated /api routes, enabling account data access and authenticated actions as the banned user. |
| The Order Notification for WooCommerce WordPress plugin before 3.6.3 overrides WooCommerce's permission checks to grant full access to all unauthenticated requests, enabling complete read/write access to store resources like products, coupons, and customers. |
| The PeproDev Ultimate Invoice WordPress plugin through 2.2.5 has a bulk download invoices action that generates ZIP archives containing exported invoice PDFs. The ZIP files are named predictably making it possible to brute force and retreive PII. |
| A missing authentication mechanism in the web management API components of Shenzhen Zhibotong Electronics ZBT WE2001 23.09.27 allows unauthenticated attackers on the local network to modify router and network configurations. By invoking operations whose names end with "*_nocommit" and supplying the parameters expected by the invoked function, an attacker can change configuration data, including SSID, Wi-Fi credentials, and administrative passwords, without authentication or an existing session. |
| Vulnerabilities* in ActADUR local server product, developed and maintained by ProTNS, allows Remote Code Inclusion on host systems.
* vulnerabilities:
*
Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in a Command ('Command Injection')
* Use of Hard-coded Credentials
* Improper Authentication
* Binding to an Unrestricted IP Address
The vulnerability has been rated as critical.This issue affects ActADUR: from v2.0.1.9 before v2.0.2.0., hence updating to version v2.0.2.0. or above is required. |
| A SAML library not dependent on any frameworks that runs in Node. In version 5.0.1, Node-SAML loads the assertion from the (unsigned) original response document. This is different than the parts that are verified when checking signature. This allows an attacker to modify authentication details within a valid SAML assertion. For example, in one attack it is possible to remove any character from the SAML assertion username. To conduct the attack an attacker would need a validly signed document from the identity provider (IdP). This is fixed in version 5.1.0. |
| Spring Cloud Config Server may not use Vault token sent by clients using a X-CONFIG-TOKEN header when making requests to Vault.
Your application may be affected by this if the following are true:
* You have Spring Vault on the classpath of your Spring Cloud Config Server and
* You are using the X-CONFIG-TOKEN header to send a Vault token to the Spring Cloud Config Server for the Config Server to use when making requests to Vault and
* You are using the default Spring Vault SessionManager implementation LifecycleAwareSessionManager or a SessionManager implementation that persists the Vault token such as SimpleSessionManager.
In this case the SessionManager persists the first token it retrieves and will continue to use that token even if client requests to the Spring Cloud Config Server include a X-CONFIG-TOKEN header with a different value.

| CWE-287: Improper Authentication vulnerability exists that could cause an Authentication Bypass when an
unauthorized user without permission rights has physical access to the EPAS-UI computer and is able to
reboot the workstation and interrupt the normal boot process. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in SINAMICS S200 (All versions with serial number beginning with SZVS8, SZVS9, SZVS0 or SZVSN and the FS number is 02). The affected device contains an unlocked bootloader. This security oversight enables attackers to inject malicious code, or install untrusted firmware. The intrinsic security features designed to protect against data manipulation and unauthorized access are compromised when the bootloader is not secured. |
| Socialstream is a third-party package for Laravel Jetstream. It replaces the published authentication and profile scaffolding provided by Laravel Jetstream, with scaffolding that has support for Laravel Socialite. When linking a social account to an already authenticated user, the lack of a confirmation step introduces a security risk. This is exacerbated if ->stateless() is used in the Socialite configuration, bypassing state verification and making the exploit easier. Developers should ensure that users explicitly confirm account linking and avoid configurations that skip critical security checks. Socialstream v6.2 introduces a new custom route that requires a user to "Confirm" or "Deny" a request to link a social account. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| Nix is a package manager for Linux and other Unix systems. Starting in version 1.11 and prior to versions 2.18.8 and 2.24.8, `<nix/fetchurl.nix>` did not verify TLS certificates on HTTPS connections. This could lead to connection details such as full URLs or credentials leaking in case of a man-in-the-middle (MITM) attack. `<nix/fetchurl.nix>` is also known as the builtin derivation builder `builtin:fetchurl`. It's not to be confused with the evaluation-time function `builtins.fetchurl`, which was not affected by this issue. A user may be affected by the risk of leaking credentials if they have a `netrc` file for authentication, or rely on derivations with `impureEnvVars` set to use credentials from the environment. In addition, the commonplace trust-on-first-use (TOFU) technique of updating dependencies by specifying an invalid hash and obtaining it from a remote store was also vulnerable to a MITM injecting arbitrary store objects. This also applied to the impure derivations experimental feature. Note that this may also happen when using Nixpkgs fetchers to obtain new hashes when not using the fake hash method, although that mechanism is not implemented in Nix itself but rather in Nixpkgs using a fixed-output derivation. The behavior was introduced in version 1.11 to make it consistent with the Nixpkgs `pkgs.fetchurl` and to make `<nix/fetchurl.nix>` work in the derivation builder sandbox, which back then did not have access to the CA bundles by default. Nowadays, CA bundles are bind-mounted on Linux. This issue has been fixed in Nix 2.18.8 and 2.24.8. As a workaround, implement (authenticated) fetching with `pkgs.fetchurl` from Nixpkgs, using `impureEnvVars` and `curlOpts` as needed. |
