CVSS v3.1 |
| cgltf through 1.15 contains an integer overflow vulnerability in the non-sparse accessor bounds check within cgltf_validate() that allows remote attackers to cause memory disclosure and denial of service by supplying crafted accessor count values. Attackers can provide malformed .gltf or .glb input with a specially crafted accessor count to overflow the unsigned integer multiplication of accessor stride and element count, causing the bounds check to pass and triggering a heap out-of-bounds read when cgltf_accessor_read_float() is subsequently called on the validated malformed accessor. |
| nnn stores homelen variable as uchar_t, which can only represent values in the range 0-255. An attacker who can influence the victim's execution environment can provide an arbitrary HOME path with length that is truncated to 0. The expression (homelen - 1) is promoted to signed int and becomes -1 and producing an out-of-bounds read and an out-of-bounds write one byte before the path buffer.
Maintainer of this project was notified about this vulnerability. It might has been addressed, but the maintainer did not provide a vulnerable version range. Only version 5.2 was tested and confirmed as vulnerable. |
| IBM AIX 7.2, and 7.3 and IBM PowerVM VIOS 4.1 could allow a local attacker to obtain sensitive information or cause a denial of service due to an integer overflow. |
| Integer overflow or wraparound in Windows Device Health Attestation (DHA) allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.27.0, FreeRDP clients that negotiate RDPGFX AVC444 with an H.264 decoder backend calculate the intermediate YUV444 allocation size in libfreerdp/codec/h264.c with 32-bit multiplication in avc444_ensure_buffer. A malicious RDP server can supply surface dimensions for which piDstStride multiplied by padDstHeight wraps to a small nonzero value, causing winpr_aligned_recalloc to allocate an undersized buffer before YUV420CombineToYUV444 writes using the actual stride and rectangle dimensions. This can cause a client crash and may permit code execution through attacker-influenced heap corruption. This issue is fixed in version 3.27.0. |
| Postfix before 3.8.16, 3.9 before 3.9.10, and 3.10 before 3.10.9 sometimes allows a buffer over-read and process crash via an enhanced status code that lacks text after the third number. |
| Integer wraparound in IVFFlat index build in pgvector before 0.8.6 allows a database user to write data out-of-bounds, which could lead to arbitrary code execution. Only 32-bit systems are affected. |
| jxl-oxide is a pure Rust implementation of a JPEG XL decoder. Prior to jxl-grid 0.6.2, decoding a crafted JPEG XL image on a 32-bit platform can overflow length calculations in AlignedGrid::with_alloc_tracker and related grid and subgrid arithmetic. A 65536 x 65536 frame can pass the frame-area limit while overflowing the usize element count, causing modular, VarDCT, or filter rendering paths to allocate a backing buffer smaller than the logical grid. A tiny bitstream-controlled cropped frame combined with a huge canvas or requested region can also reach the vulnerable composition path in crates/jxl-render/src/blend.rs through ordinary render_frame(). Later mutable subgrid and raw-pointer operations can then perform attacker-controlled out-of-bounds writes, causing memory corruption, denial of service, or arbitrary code execution. This issue is fixed in jxl-grid version 0.6.2. |
| A flaw was found in GStreamer gst-plugins-good (avidemux). When parsing FUJIFILM metadata in an AVI strd chunk, gst_avi_demux_parse_strd() decrements a remaining-length counter by fixed offsets (98 and 10 bytes) without verifying sufficient data remains. For crafted strd payloads of exactly 106 or 107 bytes, the counter underflows to a very large unsigned value, causing subsequent null-terminated string scanning to read far beyond the allocated heap buffer. Date-format normalization may also write beyond the buffer end. Confirmed impacts include heap out-of-bounds read, out-of-bounds write, heap information disclosure (adjacent data appearing in parsed metadata), and application crash/denial of service. The avidemux element is auto-plugged by playbin, decodebin, and gst-discoverer, so opening or previewing a crafted AVI is sufficient to trigger the issue. Fixed upstream in gst-plugins-good 1.28.6 (GStreamer-SA-2026-0072). |
| A flaw was found in GIMP. A signed integer overflow vulnerability exists in the `file-fli` plugin when processing FLI image files. This occurs due to an incorrect calculation during memory allocation for image buffers, where the multiplication of image width and height can exceed the maximum integer value. A remote attacker could exploit this by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted FLI file, leading to the application crashing and resulting in a denial of service. |
| libvips is a fast image processing library with low memory needs. The `vipsload` operation in versions before and including 8.18.0 could incorrectly determine image dimensions leading to an integer overflow and a subsequent heap-based buffer overflow. This has been patched in version 8.18.1. |
| libvips is a fast image processing library with low memory needs. On 32-bit systems in versions before and including 8.18.0, the `gifload` operation could incorrectly determine dimensions leading to an integer overflow. This has been patched in version 8.18.1. |
| IBM i 7.6, 7.5, 7.4, and 7.3 could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service due to an integer error when processing DRDA large-object headers. |
| Integer overflow in the Graphics component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 154, Firefox ESR 140.14, Firefox ESR 153.1, Thunderbird 154, Thunderbird 140.14, and Thunderbird 153.1. |
| A denial of service vulnerability exists when .NET Core or .NET Framework improperly handles web requests. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could cause a denial of service against a .NET Core or .NET Framework web application. The vulnerability can be exploited remotely, without authentication.
A remote unauthenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability by issuing specially crafted requests to the .NET Core or .NET Framework application.
The update addresses the vulnerability by correcting how the .NET Core or .NET Framework web application handles web requests. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
exec: fix unsigned loop counter wrap in transfer_args_to_stack()
The stop value is derived from bprm->p >> PAGE_SHIFT. The index variable
is an unsigned long. If bprm->p drops below PAGE_SIZE and stop becomes
zero the loop condition index >= stop is always true.
After the index == 0 iteration the decrement wraps to ULONG_MAX and
bprm->page[ULONG_MAX] reads sizeof(void *) bytes in front of the array.
The pointer has wrapped to -1. That garbage pointer is then passed to
kmap_local_page() and PAGE_SIZE bytes are copied from wherever that
lands into the stack of the process being created. And the loop doesn't
terminate either...
Getting there only requires bprm->p < PAGE_SIZE. On !MMU
bprm_set_stack_limit() and bprm_hit_stack_limit() are empty. So the only
constraint on how far bprm->p is pushed down is valid_arg_len(), i.e.
that each individual string still fits in what is left.
bprm->p starts at PAGE_SIZE * MAX_ARG_PAGES - sizeof(void *) so a
single argument or environment string of a little over 31 pages leaves
it in the first page:

Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt
This is an arcane bug but we should still fix it.
Count down from MAX_ARG_PAGES so the loop ends when index reaches stop,
stop == 0 included. The iterations performed are unchanged for every
other value of stop.
Only CONFIG_MMU=n builds are affected, transfer_args_to_stack() is used
by binfmt_flat and binfmt_elf_fdpic on nommu only.
The loop predates git history. commit 7e7ec6a93434
("elf_fdpic_transfer_args_to_stack(): make it generic") only moved it
from binfmt_elf_fdpic.c into fs/exec.c and narrowed the copy to the used
part of the first page. The condition and the decrement are unchanged
from 2.6.12-rc2. |

| Dragonfly is an in-memory data store built for modern application workloads. Prior to 1.40.0, CMS.INITBYDIM and CMS.INITBYPROB accept dimensions whose width times depth times sizeof(int64_t) overflows in src/core/cms.cc, allocating an undersized counter buffer while CMS.INCRBY and CMS.QUERY use the unbounded dimensions, which allows an unauthenticated remote client to corrupt or disclose adjacent heap memory and crash the server. This issue is fixed in version 1.40.0. |
