CVE-2026-92087 1 Fastify 1 Auth 2026-09-17 8.1 High
@fastify/auth is a Fastify plugin that composes multiple authentication and authorization strategies into a single route guard. In versions 5.0.0 through 5.1.0, when strategies are composed with the relation "or" option together with the run "all" option and one entry is a nested array acting as an AND group, the group is evaluated in an order-dependent way: an earlier failing check is silently dropped and the group's result becomes the outcome of its last check. As a result, a request that satisfies only the last member of an AND group, for example an attacker who holds a valid API key but is not an administrator, is authorized instead of rejected, and a related order-dependent bypass affects the mirror configuration where the top-level relation is "and" and a nested group uses "or". The issue is fixed in @fastify/auth 5.1.1, and users should upgrade to 5.1.1 or later. As a workaround, omit the run "all" option where it is not required, order each AND group so its stricter check is evaluated last, or replace nested AND groups with an explicit top-level "and" composition.
CVE-2026-20250 1 Cisco 2 Cisco:adaptive Security Appliance Software, Secure Firewall Threat Defense 2026-09-17 8.6 High
A vulnerability in Datagram TLS (DTLS) message handling of Cisco Secure Firewall Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) Software for Cisco Secure Firewall 3100 Series and 4200 Series devices could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to improper resource management when processing certain DTLS messages. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted stream of DTLS traffic to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition.

A vulnerability in an API of Cisco ISE and Cisco ISE-PIC could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to read specific files on the underlying operating system of an affected device. This vulnerability is due to improper restriction of XML external entity references. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to read specific files on the affected system that the underlying process has permission to access.
CVE-2026-61594 1 Djust-org 1 Djust 2026-09-17 9.1 Critical
djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance. Prior to version 1.0.7, the live (WebSocket) transport authorizes a mount via `check_view_auth`, not Django's `View.dispatch()` chain. As a result, standard Django authorization — `LoginRequiredMixin`, `PermissionRequiredMixin`, `UserPassesTestMixin`, `@method_decorator(login_required, name="dispatch")`, and custom `dispatch()` guards — and the djust admin extension's staff gate (applied only in the HTTP `as_view` wrapper) were enforced on the initial HTTP GET but silently bypassed over WebSocket, where all events and state flow. An anonymous or under-privileged client could open a WebSocket and mount such a view — including admin list/create/change/delete — and dispatch its handlers. This is fixed in djust 1.0.7. `check_view_auth` now honors the Django `AccessMixin` family on every transport; a new system check S004 fails loud at startup on auth patterns the runtime cannot safely replay (decorator/overridden-`dispatch` forms); and the admin base mixin declares `login_required = True` + an active-staff `check_permissions` gate. As a workaround, gate views using djust's `login_required` / `permission_required` / `check_permissions` attributes (honored on all transports) rather than HTTP-only mixins/decorators.

CVE-2026-75523 1 Steeltoeoss 1 Security-advisories 2026-09-17 5.9 Medium
Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications. Prior to 4.3.0, the Steeltoe.Management.Endpoint /actuator/httpexchanges endpoint passes recorded request URIs through MaskedUri, which masks URI user information but does not inspect query strings. When Management:Endpoints:HttpExchanges:IncludeQueryString is enabled, the HttpExchangeRequest response can disclose OAuth tokens, password-reset tokens, signed-URL signatures, API keys, and other query-string secrets from prior traffic to a caller that can reach the explicitly exposed endpoint. The Steeltoe.Management.Endpoint.Actuators.HttpExchanges DEBUG logger also records these URIs, creating a second disclosure channel for users with log access. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.0.
CVE-2026-81868 1 Steeltoeoss 1 Security-advisories 2026-09-17 6.5 Medium
Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications. Prior to 4.3.0, Steeltoe.Security.Authorization.Certificate deployments using AddOrgAndSpacePolicies() and UseCertificateAuthorization() trust the public certificate supplied in the X-Client-Cert request header without proving possession of the corresponding private key. Common Cloud Foundry routers do not remove this header from inbound requests. When inbound requests are not restricted to a known trusted proxy source IP, an attacker who obtains the public certificate of an application instance in the target organization or space and can reach the application can spoof X-Client-Cert to bypass the SameOrg and SameSpace policies for the certificate validity period. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.0.
CVE-2026-81516 1 Steeltoeoss 1 Security-advisories 2026-09-17 7.5 High
Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications. From 4.0.0 until 4.3.0, ConsulDiscoveryClient constructs ConsulServiceInstance objects by parsing each registration's secure metadata with a strict Boolean conversion. A principal that can register a Consul service can supply a secure value other than true or false, causing the exception from one instance to abort construction of the entire instance list and make the targeted service undiscoverable. When GetAllInstancesAsync enumerates all services, one malformed instance can abort enumeration across every service. The outage persists until the offending registration is removed. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.0.
CVE-2026-81515 1 Steeltoeoss 1 Security-advisories 2026-09-17 7.5 High
Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build cloud-native applications. From 4.0.0 until 4.3.0, EurekaDiscoveryClient deserializes the registry response as one unit, and an unrecognized actionType or status, a non-Boolean isCoordinatingDiscoveryServer, or a nonnumeric timestamp can abort the entire response. A principal that can register or update an instance can cause all connected Steeltoe clients to receive an empty or stale instance list until the malformed registration is removed. The JsonInstanceInfoConverter, BoolStringJsonConverter, and LongStringJsonConverter parsing paths are affected. This issue is distinct from the earlier DataCenterInfo.name parsing vulnerability. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.0.

CVE-2026-59341 1 Bitnami 1 Sealed-secrets 2026-09-17 4.2 Medium
A security vulnerability exists in the Sealed Secrets controller's unauthenticated POST endpoints. By submitting a modified payload containing custom Go template logic in spec.template.data, an attacker with internal network access can abuse the handler as a decryption oracle to recover the full plaintext of any sealed secret. The POST /v1/verify and /v1/rotate handlers call Unseal() to decrypt target secrets, then render any Go templates found in spec.template.data.* using the decrypted payload as the evaluation context (pkg/apis/sealedsecrets/v1alpha1/sealedsecret_expansion.go). Errors encountered during template execution are directly reflected in the resulting HTTP response status codes. Missing AEAD label binding: the spec.template.data field is omitted from the AEAD authenticated-data label binding ciphertext to metadata. As a result, an attacker can copy a target's valid metadata and encryptedData verbatim, satisfying AEAD decryption and label validation, while freely replacing spec.template.data with arbitrary template logic. Side-channel oracle: template execution errors map directly to HTTP response codes. HTTP 200 (OK) indicates template execution succeeded; HTTP 409 (Conflict) indicates template execution failed (e.g. via {{ fail "..." }}). By injecting conditional statements such as {{ if eq (substr 0 1 .password) "S" }}ok{{ else }}{{ fail "x" }}{{ end }}, an attacker receives an HTTP 200 status when a character guess is correct and an HTTP 409 when it is incorrect. This differential response leaks one character-equality bit per request, allowing full secret extraction over successive queries. Attack vector & prerequisites: unauthenticated; requires network access to the controller's internal service port (:8080). Although this service is not exposed to the public internet by default, it is accessible to any pod within the Kubernetes cluster or via a kubectl port-forward connection.
