| CVE-2023-30534 | 2 Cacti, Fedoraproject | 2 Cacti, Fedora | 2025-04-11 | 4.3 Medium |
| Cacti is an open source operational monitoring and fault management framework. There are two instances of insecure deserialization in Cacti version 1.2.24. While a viable gadget chain exists in Cacti’s vendor directory (phpseclib), the necessary gadgets are not included, making them inaccessible and the insecure deserializations not exploitable. Each instance of insecure deserialization is due to using the unserialize function without sanitizing the user input. Cacti has a “safe” deserialization that attempts to sanitize the content and check for specific values before calling unserialize, but it isn’t used in these instances. The vulnerable code lies in graphs_new.php, specifically within the host_new_graphs_save function. This issue has been addressed in version 1.2.25. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. | ||||
| CVE-2023-42459 | 1 Eprosima | 1 Fast Dds | 2025-04-11 | 8.6 High |
| Fast DDS is a C++ implementation of the DDS (Data Distribution Service) standard of the OMG (Object Management Group). In affected versions specific DATA submessages can be sent to a discovery locator which may trigger a free error. This can remotely crash any Fast-DDS process. The call to free() could potentially leave the pointer in the attackers control which could lead to a double free. This issue has been addressed in versions 2.12.0, 2.11.3, 2.10.3, and 2.6.7. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. | ||||
| CVE-2021-4287 | 1 Microsoft | 1 Binwalk | 2025-04-11 | 5 Medium |
| A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in ReFirm Labs binwalk up to 2.3.2. Affected is an unknown function of the file src/binwalk/modules/extractor.py of the component Archive Extraction Handler. The manipulation leads to symlink following. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. Upgrading to version 2.3.3 is able to address this issue. The name of the patch is fa0c0bd59b8588814756942fe4cb5452e76c1dcd. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. The identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-216876. | ||||
| CVE-2012-5627 | 2 Mariadb, Oracle | 2 Mariadb, Mysql | 2025-04-11 | N/A |
| Oracle MySQL and MariaDB 5.5.x before 5.5.29, 5.3.x before 5.3.12, and 5.2.x before 5.2.14 does not modify the salt during multiple executions of the change_user command within the same connection which makes it easier for remote authenticated users to conduct brute force password guessing attacks. | ||||
| CVE-2011-3887 | 2 Apple, Google | 3 Iphone Os, Safari, Chrome | 2025-04-11 | N/A |
| Google Chrome before 15.0.874.102 does not properly handle javascript: URLs, which allows remote attackers to bypass intended access restrictions and read cookies via unspecified vectors. | ||||
| CVE-2010-3708 | 1 Redhat | 3 Jboss Enterprise Application Platform, Jboss Enterprise Soa Platform, Jboss Soa Platform | 2025-04-11 | N/A |
| The serialization implementation in JBoss Drools in Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (aka JBoss EAP or JBEAP) 4.3 before 4.3.0.CP09 and JBoss Enterprise SOA Platform 4.2 and 4.3 supports the embedding of class files, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted static initializer. | ||||
| CVE-2013-1768 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 5 Openjpa, Fuse Esb Enterprise, Fuse Management Console and 2 more | 2025-04-11 | N/A |
| The BrokerFactory functionality in Apache OpenJPA 1.x before 1.2.3 and 2.x before 2.2.2 creates local executable JSP files containing logging trace data produced during deserialization of certain crafted OpenJPA objects, which makes it easier for remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by creating a serialized object and leveraging improperly secured server programs. | ||||
| CVE-2009-1299 | 1 Pulseaudio | 1 Pulseaudio | 2025-04-11 | N/A |
| The pa_make_secure_dir function in core-util.c in PulseAudio 0.9.10 and 0.9.19 allows local users to change the ownership and permissions of arbitrary files via a symlink attack on a /tmp/.esd-##### temporary file. | ||||

| CVE-2009-5081 | 1 Gnu | 1 Groff | 2025-04-11 | N/A |
| The (1) config.guess, (2) contrib/groffer/perl/groffer.pl, and (3) contrib/groffer/perl/roff2.pl scripts in GNU troff (aka groff) 1.21 and earlier use an insufficient number of X characters in the template argument to the tempfile function, which makes it easier for local users to overwrite arbitrary files via a symlink attack on a temporary file, a different vulnerability than CVE-2004-0969. | ||||
| CVE-2009-5082 | 2 Gnu, Openwall | 2 Groff, Owl | 2025-04-11 | N/A |
| The (1) configure and (2) config.guess scripts in GNU troff (aka groff) 1.20.1 on Openwall GNU/*/Linux (aka Owl) improperly create temporary files upon a failure of the mktemp function, which makes it easier for local users to overwrite arbitrary files via a symlink attack on a temporary file. | ||||
| CVE-2010-1160 | 1 Gnu | 1 Nano | 2025-04-11 | N/A |
| GNU nano before 2.2.4 does not verify whether a file has been changed before it is overwritten in a file-save operation, which allows local user-assisted attackers to overwrite arbitrary files via a symlink attack on an attacker-owned file that is being edited by the victim. | ||||
| CVE-2010-1183 | 1 Sun | 1 Solaris | 2025-04-11 | N/A |
