CVE-2025-40353 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64: mte: Do not warn if the page is already tagged in copy_highpage() The arm64 copy_highpage() assumes that the destination page is newly allocated and not MTE-tagged (PG_mte_tagged unset) and warns accordingly. However, following commit 060913999d7a ("mm: migrate: support poisoned recover from migrate folio"), folio_mc_copy() is called before __folio_migrate_mapping(). If the latter fails (-EAGAIN), the copy will be done again to the same destination page. Since copy_highpage() already set the PG_mte_tagged flag, this second copy will warn. Replace the WARN_ON_ONCE(page already tagged) in the arm64 copy_highpage() with a comment.

CVE-2025-71196 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: phy: stm32-usphyc: Fix off by one in probe() The "index" variable is used as an index into the usbphyc->phys[] array which has usbphyc->nphys elements. So if it is equal to usbphyc->nphys then it is one element out of bounds. The "index" comes from the device tree so it's data that we trust and it's unlikely to be wrong, however it's obviously still worth fixing the bug. Change the > to >=.
CVE-2025-68777 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: ti_am335x_tsc - fix off-by-one error in wire_order validation The current validation 'wire_order[i] > ARRAY_SIZE(config_pins)' allows wire_order[i] to equal ARRAY_SIZE(config_pins), which causes out-of-bounds access when used as index in 'config_pins[wire_order[i]]'. Since config_pins has 4 elements (indices 0-3), the valid range for wire_order should be 0-3. Fix the off-by-one error by using >= instead of > in the validation check.

CVE-2022-50709 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath9k: avoid uninit memory read in ath9k_htc_rx_msg() syzbot is reporting uninit value at ath9k_htc_rx_msg() [1], for ioctl(USB_RAW_IOCTL_EP_WRITE) can call ath9k_hif_usb_rx_stream() with pkt_len = 0 but ath9k_hif_usb_rx_stream() uses __dev_alloc_skb(pkt_len + 32, GFP_ATOMIC) based on an assumption that pkt_len is valid. As a result, ath9k_hif_usb_rx_stream() allocates skb with uninitialized memory and ath9k_htc_rx_msg() is reading from uninitialized memory. Since bytes accessed by ath9k_htc_rx_msg() is not known until ath9k_htc_rx_msg() is called, it would be difficult to check minimal valid pkt_len at "if (pkt_len > 2 * MAX_RX_BUF_SIZE) {" line in ath9k_hif_usb_rx_stream(). We have two choices. One is to workaround by adding __GFP_ZERO so that ath9k_htc_rx_msg() sees 0 if pkt_len is invalid. The other is to let ath9k_htc_rx_msg() validate pkt_len before accessing. This patch chose the latter. Note that I'm not sure threshold condition is correct, for I can't find details on possible packet length used by this protocol.

CVE-2022-50720 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/apic: Don't disable x2APIC if locked The APIC supports two modes, legacy APIC (or xAPIC), and Extended APIC (or x2APIC). X2APIC mode is mostly compatible with legacy APIC, but it disables the memory-mapped APIC interface in favor of one that uses MSRs. The APIC mode is controlled by the EXT bit in the APIC MSR. The MMIO/xAPIC interface has some problems, most notably the APIC LEAK [1]. This bug allows an attacker to use the APIC MMIO interface to extract data from the SGX enclave. Introduce support for a new feature that will allow the BIOS to lock the APIC in x2APIC mode. If the APIC is locked in x2APIC mode and the kernel tries to disable the APIC or revert to legacy APIC mode a GP fault will occur. Introduce support for a new MSR (IA32_XAPIC_DISABLE_STATUS) and handle the new locked mode when the LEGACY_XAPIC_DISABLED bit is set by preventing the kernel from trying to disable the x2APIC. On platforms with the IA32_XAPIC_DISABLE_STATUS MSR, if SGX or TDX are enabled the LEGACY_XAPIC_DISABLED will be set by the BIOS. If legacy APIC is required, then it SGX and TDX need to be disabled in the BIOS. [1]: https://aepicleak.com/aepicleak.pdf

CVE-2025-40289 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium

CVE-2025-40288 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: Fix NULL pointer dereference in VRAM logic for APU devices Previously, APU platforms (and other scenarios with uninitialized VRAM managers) triggered a NULL pointer dereference in `ttm_resource_manager_usage()`. The root cause is not that the `struct ttm_resource_manager *man` pointer itself is NULL, but that `man->bdev` (the backing device pointer within the manager) remains uninitialized (NULL) on APUs—since APUs lack dedicated VRAM and do not fully set up VRAM manager structures. When `ttm_resource_manager_usage()` attempts to acquire `man->bdev->lru_lock`, it dereferences the NULL `man->bdev`, leading to a kernel OOPS. 1. **amdgpu_cs.c**: Extend the existing bandwidth control check in `amdgpu_cs_get_threshold_for_moves()` to include a check for `ttm_resource_manager_used()`. If the manager is not used (uninitialized `bdev`), return 0 for migration thresholds immediately—skipping VRAM-specific logic that would trigger the NULL dereference. 2. **amdgpu_kms.c**: Update the `AMDGPU_INFO_VRAM_USAGE` ioctl and memory info reporting to use a conditional: if the manager is used, return the real VRAM usage; otherwise, return 0. This avoids accessing `man->bdev` when it is NULL. 3. **amdgpu_virt.c**: Modify the vf2pf (virtual function to physical function) data write path. Use `ttm_resource_manager_used()` to check validity: if the manager is usable, calculate `fb_usage` from VRAM usage; otherwise, set `fb_usage` to 0 (APUs have no discrete framebuffer to report). This approach is more robust than APU-specific checks because it: - Works for all scenarios where the VRAM manager is uninitialized (not just APUs), - Aligns with TTM's design by using its native helper function, - Preserves correct behavior for discrete GPUs (which have fully initialized `man->bdev` and pass the `ttm_resource_manager_used()` check). v4: use ttm_resource_manager_used(&adev->mman.vram_mgr.manager) instead of checking the adev->gmc.is_app_apu flag (Christian)
CVE-2025-40287 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: exfat: fix improper check of dentry.stream.valid_size We found an infinite loop bug in the exFAT file system that can lead to a Denial-of-Service (DoS) condition. When a dentry in an exFAT filesystem is malformed, the following system calls — SYS_openat, SYS_ftruncate, and SYS_pwrite64 — can cause the kernel to hang. Root cause analysis shows that the size validation code in exfat_find() does not check whether dentry.stream.valid_size is negative. As a result, the system calls mentioned above can succeed and eventually trigger the DoS issue. This patch adds a check for negative dentry.stream.valid_size to prevent this vulnerability.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix exclusive map memory leak When excl_prog_hash is 0 and excl_prog_hash_size is non-zero, the map also needs to be freed. Otherwise, the map memory will not be reclaimed, just like the memory leak problem reported by syzbot [1]. syzbot reported: BUG: memory leak backtrace (crc 7b9fb9b4): map_create+0x322/0x11e0 kernel/bpf/syscall.c:1512 __sys_bpf+0x3556/0x3610 kernel/bpf/syscall.c:6131
CVE-2025-68784 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: fix a UAF problem in xattr repair The xchk_setup_xattr_buf function can allocate a new value buffer, which means that any reference to ab->value before the call could become a dangling pointer. Fix this by moving an assignment to after the buffer setup.
CVE-2025-68778 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: don't log conflicting inode if it's a dir moved in the current transaction We can't log a conflicting inode if it's a directory and it was moved from one parent directory to another parent directory in the current transaction, as this can result an attempt to have a directory with two hard links during log replay, one for the old parent directory and another for the new parent directory. The following scenario triggers that issue: 1) We have directories "dir1" and "dir2" created in a past transaction. Directory "dir1" has inode A as its parent directory; 2) We move "dir1" to some other directory; 3) We create a file with the name "dir1" in directory inode A; 4) We fsync the new file. This results in logging the inode of the new file and the inode for the directory "dir1" that was previously moved in the current transaction. So the log tree has the INODE_REF item for the new location of "dir1"; 5) We move the new file to some other directory. This results in updating the log tree to included the new INODE_REF for the new location of the file and removes the INODE_REF for the old location. This happens during the rename when we call btrfs_log_new_name(); 6) We fsync the file, and that persists the log tree changes done in the previous step (btrfs_log_new_name() only updates the log tree in memory); 7) We have a power failure; 8) Next time the fs is mounted, log replay happens and when processing the inode for directory "dir1" we find a new INODE_REF and add that link, but we don't remove the old link of the inode since we have not logged the old parent directory of the directory inode "dir1". As a result after log replay finishes when we trigger writeback of the subvolume tree's extent buffers, the tree check will detect that we have a directory a hard link count of 2 and we get a mount failure. The errors and stack traces reported in dmesg/syslog are like this: [ 3845.729764] BTRFS info (device dm-0): start tree-log replay [ 3845.730304] page: refcount:3 mapcount:0 mapping:000000005c8a3027 index:0x1d00 pfn:0x11510c [ 3845.731236] memcg:ffff9264c02f4e00 [ 3845.731751] aops:btree_aops [btrfs] ino:1 [ 3845.732300] flags: 0x17fffc00000400a(uptodate|private|writeback|node=0|zone=2|lastcpupid=0x1ffff) [ 3845.733346] raw: 017fffc00000400a 0000000000000000 dead000000000122 ffff9264d978aea8 [ 3845.734265] raw: 0000000000001d00 ffff92650e6d4738 00000003ffffffff ffff9264c02f4e00 [ 3845.735305] page dumped because: eb page dump [ 3845.735981] BTRFS critical (device dm-0): corrupt leaf: root=5 block=30408704 slot=6 ino=257, invalid nlink: has 2 expect no more than 1 for dir [ 3845.737786] BTRFS info (device dm-0): leaf 30408704 gen 10 total ptrs 17 free space 14881 owner 5 [ 3845.737789] BTRFS info (device dm-0): refs 4 lock_owner 0 current 30701 [ 3845.737792] item 0 key (256 INODE_ITEM 0) itemoff 16123 itemsize 160 [ 3845.737794] inode generation 3 transid 9 size 16 nbytes 16384 [ 3845.737795] block group 0 mode 40755 links 1 uid 0 gid 0 [ 3845.737797] rdev 0 sequence 2 flags 0x0 [ 3845.737798] atime 1764259517.0 [ 3845.737800] ctime 1764259517.572889464 [ 3845.737801] mtime 1764259517.572889464 [ 3845.737802] otime 1764259517.0 [ 3845.737803] item 1 key (256 INODE_REF 256) itemoff 16111 itemsize 12 [ 3845.737805] index 0 name_len 2 [ 3845.737807] item 2 key (256 DIR_ITEM 2363071922) itemoff 16077 itemsize 34 [ 3845.737808] location key (257 1 0) type 2 [ 3845.737810] transid 9 data_len 0 name_len 4 [ 3845.737811] item 3 key (256 DIR_ITEM 2676584006) itemoff 16043 itemsize 34 [ 3845.737813] location key (258 1 0) type 2 [ 3845.737814] transid 9 data_len 0 name_len 4 [ 3845.737815] item 4 key (256 DIR_INDEX 2) itemoff 16009 itemsize 34 [ 3845.737816] location key (257 1 0) type 2 [ ---truncated---
CVE-2025-40110 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vmwgfx: Fix a null-ptr access in the cursor snooper Check that the resource which is converted to a surface exists before trying to use the cursor snooper on it. vmw_cmd_res_check allows explicit invalid (SVGA3D_INVALID_ID) identifiers because some svga commands accept SVGA3D_INVALID_ID to mean "no surface", unfortunately functions that accept the actual surfaces as objects might (and in case of the cursor snooper, do not) be able to handle null objects. Make sure that we validate not only the identifier (via the vmw_cmd_res_check) but also check that the actual resource exists before trying to do something with it. Fixes unchecked null-ptr reference in the snooping code.
CVE-2025-68765 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mt76: mt7615: Fix memory leak in mt7615_mcu_wtbl_sta_add() In mt7615_mcu_wtbl_sta_add(), an skb sskb is allocated. If the subsequent call to mt76_connac_mcu_alloc_wtbl_req() fails, the function returns an error without freeing sskb, leading to a memory leak. Fix this by calling dev_kfree_skb() on sskb in the error handling path to ensure it is properly released.
