| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netrom: Fix memory leak in nr_sendmsg() syzbot reported a memory leak [1]. When function sock_alloc_send_skb() return NULL in nr_output(), the original skb is not freed, which was allocated in nr_sendmsg(). Fix this by freeing it before return. | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/plane: Fix create_in_format_blob() return value create_in_format_blob() is either supposed to return a valid pointer or an error, but never NULL. The caller will dereference the blob when it is not an error, and thus will oops if NULL returned. Return proper error values in the failure cases. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sparc: fix accurate exception reporting in copy_{from_to}_user for UltraSPARC The referenced commit introduced exception handlers on user-space memory references in copy_from_user and copy_to_user. These handlers return from the respective function and calculate the remaining bytes left to copy using the current register contents. This commit fixes a couple of bad calculations. This will fix the return value of copy_from_user and copy_to_user in the faulting case. The behaviour of memcpy stays unchanged. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommufd: Don't overflow during division for dirty tracking If pgshift is 63 then BITS_PER_TYPE(*bitmap->bitmap) * pgsize will overflow to 0 and this triggers divide by 0. In this case the index should just be 0, so reorganize things to divide by shift and avoid hitting any overflows. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: atmel-quadspi: Free resources even if runtime resume failed in .remove() An early error exit in atmel_qspi_remove() doesn't prevent the device unbind. So this results in an spi controller with an unbound parent and unmapped register space (because devm_ioremap_resource() is undone). So using the remaining spi controller probably results in an oops. Instead unregister the controller unconditionally and only skip hardware access and clk disable. Also add a warning about resume failing and return zero unconditionally. The latter has the only effect to suppress a less helpful error message by the spi core. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/vfio-ap: fix memory leak in vfio_ap device driver The device release callback function invoked to release the matrix device uses the dev_get_drvdata(device *dev) function to retrieve the pointer to the vfio_matrix_dev object in order to free its storage. The problem is, this object is not stored as drvdata with the device; since the kfree function will accept a NULL pointer, the memory for the vfio_matrix_dev object is never freed. Since the device being released is contained within the vfio_matrix_dev object, the container_of macro will be used to retrieve its pointer. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: core: prevent NULL deref in generic_hwtstamp_ioctl_lower() The ethtool tsconfig Netlink path can trigger a null pointer dereference. A call chain such as: tsconfig_prepare_data() -> dev_get_hwtstamp_phylib() -> vlan_hwtstamp_get() -> generic_hwtstamp_get_lower() -> generic_hwtstamp_ioctl_lower() results in generic_hwtstamp_ioctl_lower() being called with kernel_cfg->ifr as NULL. The generic_hwtstamp_ioctl_lower() function does not expect a NULL ifr and dereferences it, leading to a system crash. Fix this by adding a NULL check for kernel_cfg->ifr in generic_hwtstamp_ioctl_lower(). If ifr is NULL, return -EINVAL. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: most: usb: hdm_probe: Fix calling put_device() before device initialization The early error path in hdm_probe() can jump to err_free_mdev before &mdev->dev has been initialized with device_initialize(). Calling put_device(&mdev->dev) there triggers a device core WARN and ends up invoking kref_put(&kobj->kref, kobject_release) on an uninitialized kobject. In this path the private struct was only kmalloc'ed and the intended release is effectively kfree(mdev) anyway, so free it directly instead of calling put_device() on an uninitialized device. This removes the WARNING and fixes the pre-initialization error path. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xen/events: Return -EEXIST for bound VIRQs Change find_virq() to return -EEXIST when a VIRQ is bound to a different CPU than the one passed in. With that, remove the BUG_ON() from bind_virq_to_irq() to propogate the error upwards. Some VIRQs are per-cpu, but others are per-domain or global. Those must be bound to CPU0 and can then migrate elsewhere. The lookup for per-domain and global will probably fail when migrated off CPU 0, especially when the current CPU is tracked. This now returns -EEXIST instead of BUG_ON(). A second call to bind a per-domain or global VIRQ is not expected, but make it non-fatal to avoid trying to look up the irq, since we don't know which per_cpu(virq_to_irq) it will be in. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: comedi: fix divide-by-zero in comedi_buf_munge() The comedi_buf_munge() function performs a modulo operation `async->munge_chan %= async->cmd.chanlist_len` without first checking if chanlist_len is zero. If a user program submits a command with chanlist_len set to zero, this causes a divide-by-zero error when the device processes data in the interrupt handler path. Add a check for zero chanlist_len at the beginning of the function, similar to the existing checks for !map and CMDF_RAWDATA flag. When chanlist_len is zero, update munge_count and return early, indicating the data was handled without munging. This prevents potential kernel panics from malformed user commands. | ||||
